Nice
hotel
but
showing
signs
of
wear
&
tear
in
a
lot
of
places.
Shower
in
pool
area
is
broken,
some
lockers
in
changing
rooms
had
no
keys/doors
hanging
off,
carpets
were
marked/threadbare,
all
paintwork
on
doors
in
room
and
communal
areas
is
marked,
grubby
&
scuffed,
external
paintwork
on
hotel
is
peeling
making
hotel
look
a
bit
downtrodden
on
approach,
light
bulb
didn’t
work
in
lamp
(mentioned
at
Revolution
but
not
replaced),
some
sockets
in
room
didn’t
work
and
neither
did
USB
charge
point
for,
something
had
been
stuck
to
wall
over
bed
and
sellotape
was
still
stuck
to
the
wall.
Online
pictures
(even
my
own
here)
make
this
look
hotel
look
more
perfect
than
it
is.
These
are
all
small
things
that
could
easily
be
fixed
taking
this
hotel
back
up
to
4
star
which
I’m
afraid
for
me
it
isn’t
in
its
current
state.
Probably
the
most
disappointing
thing
was
the
breakfast.
Cups
weren’t
available,
bread
ran
out
and
wasn’t
replaced
despite
being
asked
for.
No
vegetarian
sausages
available
so
only
eggs,
beans
and
tomatoes
for
vegetarians.
Eggs
ran
out
and
we
had
to
wait
15
minutes
for
more
and
when
they
did
come
out
there
were
only
two!
It
wasn’t
a
great
breakfast
so
we
chose
to
eat
elsewhere
for
the
remaining
two
days
(despite
having
paid
for
it).
And
because
of
this
we
avoided
the
restaurant
at
night.
One
additional
thing
that
we
didn’t
like
was
that
we
told
reception
that
our
room
didn’t
need
servicing
on
the
second
day
only
to
find
someone
had
been
in
when
we
returned
and
on
the
third
day
we
said
we’d
like
it
serviced
and
it
wasn’t.
However
there
were
some
good
points.
All
staff
were
very
polite
and
attentive
and
we
couldn’t
fault
them.
Our
room
wasn’t
ready
when
we
arrived
at
4:30
so
we
were
given
a
complimentary
drink
each.
The
hotel
was
in
a
quiet
location
and
convenient
for
Chester,
Liverpool
and
North
Wales.
We
did
intend
to
tell
the
hotel
all
of
this
and
not
just
leave
a
review
but
a
family
emergency
arose
as
we
were
leaving
and
we
had
to
hurry
away.
