What a fantastic find. This is a little gem of a place to stay. To start the bed is absolutely amazing. Me and my girlfriend drove 6 hours from London and we came across this beautiful clean and in a perfect location. Beautiful stay. Thank you.

Booked two nights stayed one. As had no sleep and bedding not pleasant. Definitely not luxury mews accommodation. Unfortunately the person downstairs was extremely noisy, shouting, singing, talking so loudly for hours non stop. Until past 3.30am. So the room definitely has no sound proofing. The bedding had black marks, blood on pillow, the duvet, pillows and mattress saver had huge yellow marks. The shower wasn't clean. We tried to get a refund but nothing has been given. We had stayed 5 years ago and it was nice shame it was such a bad experience this time.

Great place to be based to visit Chester and the surrounding area. Our room was clean with a large bed and a decent sized bathroom.

What a beautiful little place to stay. We are here as a family, the rooms are very clean the beds are large and comfortable. The cafe does a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be back.

The Mews has been my second home almost for a number of years, due to having to take my dog to the university hospital in Neston. Which it is in easy reach off (drive). The dog friendly room is always clean, quiet and I loved the showering facilities and access to a nice walk at the back by the farmers fields for Coco. It’s near the Pesto Pub , a little drive to Saughall where there is a co-op in case you forget anything. It’s really central also for a drive to Cheshire Oaks and Parkgate. The famous Parkgate chip shop, also operates out of Water World up the Chester New Road, next to Dobbies and the lovely little shop in the car park. I love the mews self check on system, and the only time I had a problem staff arrived promptly and rectified. My only slight criticism, but is not a big issue really is the tvs being small and limited channels. Would be good maybe in the future if you could cast on tv as Wi-Fi is also good here. Sadly, I lost my girl in January this year, so have not needed to go back since. But would stay again when my heart can take it as it’s so centrally based for shopping and even has a bus stop outside to take you to Chester.

Although the campsite has a good layout, in wet weather the area in front of the loos floods. As to the shower (1 in the ladies) and loos (2) they leave a lot to be desired. One loo was constantly blocked in the ladies, the shower cubicle was tired and the whole block was not regularly cleaned. If facilities matter to you don't book this site! Position by the road is also very noisy.

Very pleasant, simple room with twin or double bed, a large shower and toilet, with lovely soft towels, enormous shower with large drench head, a lovely TV in the main bedroom with Netflix and multiple channels, a good controlable heating system, an opening window for ventilation, beds rather firm but comfortable with nice duvets and pillows. Free parking right outside the front door, there is a lovely cafe that opens at 9:00am for breakfast, where you are served by lovely friendly people. A very enjoyable stay and we will certainly use this place again. We recommend this place.

Amazing campsite ⛺️ it has an excellent set up for Caravans and Tents with Electric Hook Up and Water facilities. The shower and Toilet blocks are extremely clean and are secured with code entrance and so is the main entrance onto the field (coded entrance with electric gate) this is right in the middle of everything and now far from North Wales, Chester and the Wirral and motorways M53 and M56 close both. Great value and we will definitely be returning. Thanks guys 🙏🏻

Stopped here as went to. Coldplay gig in Manchester. Only a 40 minute drive which meant we could go to outlets the following day after a late night. This place is outstanding! The mews are spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stop here again and access to the cafe was a bonus! We will definitely be back.

Just had a few days stay at Oakwood Farm and couldn't have been happier. Lovely comfy and spacious room, fantastic shower and great location. Our hosts made arrival and departure very easy too. Great little cafe on site too with a reasonably priced and plentiful breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely new build mews and facilities. Tasty tap water (far better than London area). Very comfortable mattress and settings. Friendly reception and employees. Pity don't have time for the cafe. And I bet it is a great place for caravans. And lovely Henry the dog!

Stayed for one night on a hopping trip round Wales. The lady at reception was lovely and the rooms were clean and spacious. We were allowed to keep our bikes in the room and they are extremely dog friendly. The food in the morning was awesome at the onsite cafe.

Touring caravan / camping park. Constant traffic noise all day and all night from major trunk road. Shower / toilet facilities poor and inadequate. Not much to do on or near the site.

I was visiting a business "Imperial Pets" on the trade units at the entrance to the site. The site that caters for tourer's could probably do with a little extra hedging to deal with the road noise. It's situated on an arterial route between Chester, Ellesmere Port and the M56, gateway to North Wales and the central motorway networks, there's going to be some traffic noise intrusion but all in all on my visit during early afternoon traffic it was quite manageable. As far as amenities go I wasn't visiting that part so I couldn't comment but the trade park was clean and parking was designated with obvious warning where not to park.

Lovely staff and management couldn't of been more helpful, the rooms are great, decent sized and parking right next to our room is so convenient. Not far from the town centre so good for shopping. Big thank you to the manager Peter 👏 we will definitely be returning x

Freezing cold on arrival and not as described. No one around to speak to until the morning of our departure. Described as luxurious and deluxe which it was neither. Filthy toilet brush , leaking toilet, mould around shower, cobweb hanging from ceiling, blood on duvet etc etc. Tried speaking with booking.com and the owner Peter but received an abusive message back from him saying I was the most disappointing, despicable guest he had ever come across, and also a blackmailer. Very professional . He offered me a free nights accommodation but no way would I go back there. Instead I asked for a refund. That’s when the abusive email arrived. Not a nice person to deal with. The place is very basic and definitely not luxurious or de luxe.

Absolutely brilliant place to stop for an overnight stop. Place is clean. King size bed is very comfy and walk in shower very practical. Parking is also very good. Would recommend this place and would also return.

WOW. The cheapest option, we weren’t expecting much but… clean, spacious, amazing (instant heat) shower, the comfiest bed and bedding, a truly great nights sleep, very highly recommended (if we’re not for the weather we were going to see about another nights stay) we will be returning. Thank you to the owner for great communication (text, email and phone call) ensuring we know how to get keys for our late arrival 👌

Lovely little place - a 10 min drive from Chester city centre (which is amazing !!!) Really nice and helpful staff. Spacious separate rooms (think motel style.) My boyfriend lost his ring so we rang up wondering if they had seen it anywhere, which they said they had found it in the car park. And then sent it to us special delivery all well packaged up in a protected envelope and bag! So that was really appreciated and very kind! Thanks for a lovely stay! We’ll defo recommend!

Good little pitch for camping with electric hook up, nice clean shower block and toilets. Pet friendly which was amazing for our OAD (old age dog) will be visiting again, only downside is the noise from nearby roads but regardless of this we still enjoyed our stay.

Facilities are OK, shower was out of order but not great for camping as the sites between too busy roads. I'd imagine the tourers enjoy it more than campers.

Very good clean tidy room, perfect for our 2 night stay. Weather was lovely so the addition of a little bistro set for outside would be nice for sitting out after a day's sightseeing.

Very clean room. Excellent info given prior to arriving and advice on places to eat that would welcome the dog as well. Will definitely return next time we are travelling this way.
