Lovely independent bookshop with a wide choice of books for children and adults. The owner was extremely helpful and offered to order a book that they didn't have in stock - unfortunately, I didn't take advantage of her offer as I was leaving the following day. I would highly recommend this shop and will visit again when in the area.

Wonderful book shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff who can recommend when you need help, get books in overnight and there's always something to tempt me when I go in. Wide and varied stock. Lots of wonderful cards and wrapping paper too. It's a gem of a book shop and we are very lucky to have this in Ripon. Also runs a great bookclub.

Always helpful and really efficient at getting you a book in if they haven't got it in stock. In particular they have been helpful getting and sending books for my mother over the past few years ( she is now 92) when she was finding it more difficult to get into town. Have an eclectic selection and I never leave without buying something!

We came upon this bookshop by chance while walking to Ripon Spa Gardens. We popped in for a look round and came out half an hour later with an armful of purchases. What a lovely bookshop - well-stocked, attractively displayed, with helpful staff and obviously valued by the community (to judge by the little dog enjoying his drink of water on a hot day). Well done to the proprietors. Support our independent bookshops!
