I worked with Gemma on a female empowerment shoot following some serious life trauma and chemo treatment. I haven't never felt so comfortable to be completely raw and myself in front of someone I hace only just met. The session started with a lovely meditation and then flowed so nicely into the shoot. Gemma made me feel safe, heard, seen - as well as confident, sexy and strong! I would 100% recommend for every woman to do a shoot like this for yourself. I was pretty nervous about getting professional photographs taken when heavily pregnant but Gemma put me at ease instantly. She's warm, approachable and so so easy to get along with. Gemma was snapping away even when I wasn't expecting it and the results were gorgeous candid shots which made me cry with happiness when I saw them. She captures moments beautifully and her style isn't invasive or posey which I was worried about. I Celebrated two years of practicing yoga with the brilliant Gemma @sunflowerdazephoto_yoga she’s a pretty spectacular multitasking photographer who has this dreamy eye for natural tones. She believes in no artificial lighting and made me feel comfortable for the shoot. She used her inside knowledge of the beautiful setting of Saddleworth to get loads of amazing shots. Her charges are so reasonable and the ‘product’ was superb. She also loves yoga and teaches it too and that really showed throughout our fun morning. Will definitely use Gemma again.

What can I say but offer my heartfelt thanks to Gemma from Sunflower Daze for blowing all expectations out of the water. I'm a classic rigid chandler bing of a subject who can't stand having my photo taken. If I'm honest, the prospect of having wedding photos taken with a photographer I didn't know was quite daunting and was the part of the day I was looking forward to least. Gemma's personality, warmth, easy going nature and ability to immediately capture the flow of our day put me and my wife at total ease and she felt more like a friend than someone I'd met face to face on the day.
