Good real ale pubs. Good selection of ales including fruit beer and pumpkin. Had a few different types. Cave type structure with seating.

The selection is fantastic. It’s a pity that not all of the canned beers are stored within a fridge because pouring some beers that are at room temperature can be tricky. The server we had wasn’t the most welcoming but we weren’t there for that.

Popped in for an afternoon pint, nice friendly staff behind the bar, knowledgeable on the beers, nice music, great selection of books and games to keep yourself entertained. Wide variety of beers available to drink in and take away. Outdoor seating too, to watch the world go by.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great selection of drinks. Had the Stiegl Raspberry and the kingdom lychee gin. If you want somewhere to get a refreshing drink in a chilled out place, this is the place to go. They have seating outside to enjoy it more with the sun.

Great collection of craft beer in Chester, stumbled into it when on a day out in the old town. Something like 16 taps and tonnes of bottles, friendly service in a unpretentious setting. Really nice discovery. Interesting and great poster showing how they protect guests.

What a cool place to go. A ridiculous range of beers, difficult to choose (but that's a good thing!). Very helpful staff who talk out the choices and give you recommendations. The decoration was very unique and added to the place, the tables were tiled and really cool! Plenty of different tabletop board/card games to play, from Guess Who to Cards Against Humanity. Very relaxed and friendly. If you love beer, definitely go to this place!

Chilled space with an excellent draft/can selection of craft beer. Good selection of music at a gentle volume. Dog friendly too.

We visit here everytime we come to Chester. A lovely place and a beer lovers dream! Don't agree with the £1.50 charge to drink the can from the fridge (as you're already paying for the can), but wouldn't stop us returning.

A great bottle shop and tap room. Downside they didn't sell any truly local beers. Very knowledgeable about the beers and were happy to answer my questions.

A great selection of beers on tap and very chatty, friendly staff. I always try to stop in for one or two every time we are having a drink in Chester. The prices are a little off-putting but the beers are often worth the premium, just as a little treat. Board games and music are a plus too

Great beer choice (on draft and bottles/ cans) and the staff knew what they were talking about so gave good recommendations. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. What more do you want?

Good beer but seating arrangements could be cosier. Crying out for some comfy benches and better lighting. ...was thinking of maybe like the attached... just the back seating area felt a bit cold and bright... subjective I guess.

Came here for the Beer tasting experience as a group and wow what a place. Staff are unbelievably welcoming and friendly. Had such a good time and received a in-depth beer tasting experience. We all had a great time and all agreed that it was a highlight of the weekend. 👏🏼👏🏼

Loved it very spit and sawdust (in a good way ie no tv's) kind of place but the guy running it was helpful and knew his product. Had a few different beers and they were happy to let me sample. It was not cheap but it was worth the +£5 I paid for a pint.

They got the brews...wow...an Great knowledgeable service...our 1st drink before our wedding but loved so much we returned after for our 2nd drink! Thanks

Very good selection of beer with a quirky interior

Booked in for a beer tasting yesterday and it was brilliant. Mike was great, very knowledgable and took the time to sit down with us and go through each beer with us. Lots of variety too. We would definitely recommend. Thanks Mike!

Great place, lovely staff, great beers and a massive variety. A little disappointed there was not cask ales. They said space was an issue but we have them at home in a very tiny space

Came for a beer on Saturday, such a great selection of cans and bottles in the shop. Great atmosphere and some lovely knowledgeable staff members. 2 members in particular were extremely friendly, I went in there feeling down and left feeling 100% after they did their best to cheer me up. Connor and Charlotte (sorry if that's wrong) really made me feel welcome as I was drinking by myself and made my visit really enjoyable. Would definitely come back and hopefully get to see you two again. I honestly felt as though I was talking with friends, really made my night. Thank you Beer Heroes.

Nice bar with a massive choice of beers. Owner and staff were really welcoming. Dog friendly with owner coming to fuss Eric and bring him water and treats. Eric loved it and so did we.
