Lovely food! The carvery is especially tasty and they have lots of wonderful desserts to choose from, with cakes on display that my daughter absolutely loved. The staff are very friendly and professional too. 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last night, I visited the Running Hare for our dance night Christmas party. They were 43 of us and we all had a fantastic evening. I have been here before, but last night was exceptional. We had the Christmas Menu. The food was excellent, especially for a carvery. It was hot and fresh, and we had decent portions of meat, too. All the stuff were really friendly as was the manager Matt who ran it as if it was his own private pub. What a difference it makes. Everything was organised and everybody was happy with food and Service. What more can we ask for especially with so many people. Thank you to you all.

I love this pub! Had an absolutely outstanding carvery in there today. Highlights were the roast potatoes. So well cooked! And the potato dauphinoise was absolutely delicious. All hot and cooked to perfection. I will be back as I have been many times before!

Food was lovely. We were served by the very friendly Aidan. Made sure we were enjoying our meal & cleared our table once we had finished. He gave advice on the big cakes too!! We noticed Aidan works hard with making sure all customers are happy & he was constantly clearing & cleaning the tables. Definitely deserves a reward 🥰

We ate here last night and have to say the food was really really lovely. I had the cowboy burger and fries and it was so tasty. Nice presentation and lovely and hot. Staff all very pleasant and friendly and table clean when we sat down. I'd recommend for a good value meal!

The service cleanliness was amazing. We ordered a rare steak which was cook to perfection my granddaughter had a burger which again was excellent. The presentation was good. Basically I couldn’t fault it. It’s just a shame I live in Cardiff. The night before I had a steak in the Village hotel across the road. It cost £29, I ordered rare it was medium at best it was salty and burnt, it was tough with gristle going through the middle. Your restaurant I give 200% the village 0% Will certainly eat at The running Hare again when I’m in the area. Thank you

Absolute bargain carvery & great choices. Only popped in while charging a car to come home & what a surprise. Needed 20% to get home, plugged in, popped in for a coffee & ended up having a carvery :) Ended up with 86% on the car....and 100% in my belly :) :) haha

There was 3 of us and we each had a different meal 1 had a large carvery 1,had fish and chips I had the mixed grill and we all really enjoyed our mains.we each had a different pudding 1 had chocolate tart,1 had sticky toffee pud and custard I had jam sponge and custard they enjoyed there's but my sponge was very dry had to get extra custard. Staff were very attentive and Service was really good nothing was to much trouble

We had a nice relaxing Saturday early evening meal. The table was comfortable for the 5 of us and the bar staff took our order at the bar with ease. Food was up to a high standard. The chips were very tasty. Steak was cooked just how we liked it. We were able to use a discount voucher which made the meal great value for money. Overall a nice dining experience thank you Running Hare.

The place was busy even early on, however the waiting time was not long and when the food arrived it was piping hot and all around delicious. Really have no complaints. In terms of overall feedback would be good to see a refill option for soft drinks and more promotional offers as while excellent it does cost more than some rival chains, and the cost of living at the moment really does influence spending decisions. The feedback is not meant as negative as the overall experience was top notch and budget allowing will look to return again in the near future.

Yesterday I along with my two friends made a last minute online booking as two of the places we usually go to were full. To be honest after going to the Running Hare not long after it first opened, it was not somewhere on my list to revisit, however, I was very pleasantly impressed, staff were welcoming, courteous and attentive in just the right amounts. The food was delicious and excellent value, I honestly couldn’t fault any part of my visit, which these days makes a refreshing change. A place Is only as good as a person’s lasts visit and on that basis I will definitely be back. Well done to the Running Hare Team.

We visited the Running Hare to meet up with an old friend and have some lunch. The quality of the food was very good, I tried the ultimate spicy beef burger, wife had the fish and chips, we were really happy with the meals. Service wasn't that good though, empty plates not cleared away we ended up doing it ourselves. Overall though an enjoyable meal definitely will be back.

Can always rely on a warm welcome, fast service and good quality, reasonably priced food at the Running Hare. We celebrated my Mum’s birthday so we were a big party of 17, but all needs were catered for. The hosts at the front door are always helpful, the bar staff manned the tills while it was busy to keep wait times to a minimum and the carvery was well stocked and good quality as always. We’re frequent visitors as live locally and we have always had a good experience in the Running Hare. Thanks for continued great service!
