We stopped here for a break on our way to Abergele. Built on a hillside the carpark can be tight to manoeuvre. The building looks good inside and out. The staff where really good keeping tables clear and clean. Good food and service, we would use again.

If you drive through A55 you have stop here. For coffee addicted guys is the best place and you will drink up to 5 cups. As for the food is delicious

What a great little find just outside Mold in Wales ..believe it or not. Looks fab from the outside and just as good inside ...different food choices are always good and this place lived up to all expectations ....homefry hash was lush ..brisket ..taters and two eggs yum ...going back soon to try some more. Only downside is service is slow but everything freshly cooked..leave a bit of time for your visit.

We always make this place our pit stop on our way from Manchester to North Wales to fuel up for the day with a delicious breakfast and we are never disappointed! The food is made to order. Kids eat free when purchasing an adults meal which is great! The staff are always very friendly and the place is always clean. I've never tried the deserts but this time opted for a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream and it was gorgeous!

Seem to be tradition for us to come now on the way to wales for breakfast. We have sat in before but mainly get take away and sit with dog in the car. Usaully breakfast stuff plus american pancakes with syrups. Havent been a later time but the burger menu looks nice and will come for that soon. If sign up on website and its your birthday then free milkshake aswell.

Never been into one of these before but I wasn't disappointed. The food was really nice. A little slow taking our order but once the order was in, the food arrived quickly.

Lovely American style Diner with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were fantastic and very helpful on the evening, food was reasonably priced and our two kids ate for free not strings attached. Highly recommend.

We were so excited to try this place after driving past it for years. Its looks straight out of an American movie. Sadly, the inside was straight out of an American horror movie. The cleanliness was appalling, there was a big fat dead fly crusted onto the menu, another one smeared across the window next to our table. In short the whole place was in dire need of a deep clean. The staff were so friendly and seemed overworked, but unfortunately the service was very slow. Prices were very expensive and the quality of the food was poor. Should have saved ourselves some time and money and just gone to McDonald's next door.

Great service, lovely food and clean facilities. We have been a few times over the last few months as the kids love it.

Definitely would describe as 'ok'. It took a long time to be seated and again to be served. It took 35 minutes for our food to arrive, despite ordering 2 vegetarian breakfasts and a warm sandwich. The diner was about half full. There were a good number of staff on but one seemed to be doing all the work whilst some of the others stood around, but they were all friendly and chatty. The food was good. The fry ups were what you would expect but the sandwich was delicious. It was a generous size portion and good quality. Overall an OK experience. Would not recommend if you need a quick stop at the services but if you have an hour or so to spare then this place would be good.

Delicious burgers and pancakes, and loved the banana milkshake! The location was strategic close to the next port, and service was friendly and warm. Would come again!

Lovely friendly staff who work so hard to please. Our first venture into this branch and it was a great experience. Very wide menu. Speedy service and a reasonable price. We had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Delicious.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the place seemed very clean. However, the door to the chill room( l think it was) was open which made it very crafty, but the staff moved us when we asked. The refill coffee was pleasant and the all day breakfast was a good buy. The fried egg whites were a bit odd though . I didn't look for vegetarian options but there were lots of pancakes and toppings to choose from . The decor was ' typical ' ( what British people think ) American coffee shop and had lots of posters and signs I'd like to have . There was also a clown face that you could take your photo through...but it was blocked off by high chairs where you would have to stand . A little disappointing for this big kid. I wouldn't go out deliberately to eat there but I might drop in again if I was passing to sample the pancakes .

Fantastic stop off on the A55 with good parking, very friendly staff, unlimited coffee and the best burrito I've eaten in a long while, so nice I felt compelled to stay on for dessert, what's not to like. On the exit back to the A55 there was a Shell petrol station to top up the bike, bonus.

Love going to the OK diner for meals, delicious food and different experience. The past couple of times we have gone, we have loved food however, service has not been the best: - Lots of staff absence on one visit so left a huge queue outside and only sat a few tables. I understand this couldn't be helped but would think they would at least sit people down and give them a drink with explanation its a slow service and big wait. - No wait to go in this time however, service was hit and miss. First drinks came quick but they did not come back to offer refill (empty glasses visible on end of table). Tried to get their attention a couple of times but they ignored (definitely saw us) so hubby ended up taking glasses to them and bringing the refills back. They also forgot to bring my fries out so asked for them and they proceeded to forget again so had to go up and ask for them again. Fries finally arrived when family had finished their meals. I wouldn't say this was a lack of staff as they were quick enough to take the food order, bring bill and clear table as soon as we stood to go. We have had other occasions where the staff have been attentive and made us feel welcome. Few bits of customer service to improve, bits that seem to have gone downhill over past couple of years. 3 stars as varied experiences here.

Visited here on Sunday (3rd September)not been here for a couple of years,food was great,service a little slow,prices reasonable,only the disabled toilet was available as both ladies and gents out of order a bit of a queue and it was cash only of which we were not made aware of this till we went to pay,luckily we had the cash.

An unusual setting, on the A55 services built onto a slope. The milkshakes are excellent and could be considered to be a meal in themselves. Food and service spot on, kids ate for free which was a bonus. Would definitely go back

Damn taste food had to wait a little to be seated but worth it. Got a bunch of sides sand shared which was good idea to do.

You sometime dismiss these diners when you’re in a rush and there’s a drive thru right next door! but if you have the time, it’s well worth a stop! to take in the atmosphere and enjoy what’s on offer.

The restaurant was a bit of a mess when we arrived but I get they were busy so understand. Food is just as you expect from an OK diner. Simple wuth good choice.

American dining experience, great staff, great food as the portions and huge. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Although busy we was made to feel like vip guests. The view from the restaurant is relaxing. The prices are a little high but you do get what you pay for. The million dollar shakes are an experience and the coffee is free refills with the really friendly staff always ready to top you up. Last of a true gem out there definitely worth a visit!

The place almost seemed a little dirty, the staff were friendly but nothing to give 5 stars to , they weren’t very smiley , or chatty with customers. The food was standard and good price. Atmosphere … there wasn’t much of one the music was incredibly low we couldn’t make out what was playing and we were sat in an awkward place with people constantly passing and right by the till. Also one of the staff members were speaking of the customer they’d just served once they’d left right besides us at the till with a colleague which wasn’t very professional

Excellent breakfast ,good coffee , fast friendly service and not a bad price. Really busy which shows how good it is. Only one really small thing I found which could be better, the cutlery is "cheap and nasty" could be of a better quality.

Wow!Amazing food and I loved the retro vibe. Will definitely be returning for the great service!
