I would never recommend Cwp or their services. They make people worse not better. Kicked a homeless person out when I was at rock bottom. They quick enough giving medication and tablets out like if they are pic-a-mix instead of realising what going on and getting to the bottom of why people are admitted with mental health issues. They expected me to walk home as I never had money on me for transport and I lived 50miles away from the hospital. Absolutely appalling service I received. They kick the vulnerable out just to fill the beds. This is the worse mental health services I have ever known in UK. Discharged without any follow up appointments. Just told to phone Samaritans if I feel low. Would you honestly expect people to ask for help when all they thinking is suicide .worse help ever. I knew they couldn't help me...

Staff member dragged me by my hair to the floor because I wouldn't give them my phone!! Vile nothing got done about it. They also stole my north face top which was brand new!! Vile hospital!!!

Wish there was a no star button!! Honestly had some awful experiences in this hospital since 2014 till now, some of the staff treat you like crazy on the bottom of there shoes, some staff are amazing!! Nigel, Amy, amiee, Tom, Debbie, Carol, leanne, most of the new staff, but they have staff working here who are very unexperienced, don't know what they are doing, they have it run on agency workers, and when you say you are triggered by this becuase of past trauma they say well you have to deal with it!! Agency fall asleep on level 3 (1:1) staff let you out despite telling them you had plans to off yourself, just not a nice place at all, please stay well away!!

Very bad hospital that treats angency staff anyhow.. especially a nurse on Juniper called VIVIEN from cameroun. She treats her own african people who come to work there like they are enemies. Reporting them to be blocked from the trust. Very wicked woman she is. She is one of the reason why they most agencies dont want to work there.

Recently stayed on beech ward. Some of the nurses treated the ward like a military boot camp where as others were very kind. A very mixed bag. Leanne, Izzy, Alana and Radu made my stay much more bare able. Out of everyone those 4 were the kindest and most suited to be working on a mental health ward. and made sure I got everything I needed. Tyler was also supportive the few times we interacted. The rest of the staff should consider becoming prisons guards rather than mental health support workers. We have a long way to go until the stigma around mental health is changed. But the names listed above are doing very positive work to help that. The food was average what you should expect from a hospital, however small portions. There wasn’t much to do besides two TV rooms and a pool table. Lack of facilities which drives boredom and also below average gym and refusal to allow patients to go to the gym/get fresh air used as a punishment which is counter productive for the reason you are there. During my time there my shower also flooded which the staff refused to clean until much much later on. 3/10 but it would be much lower with out the kind nurses.

Not very understanding. Gaslighters, deniers of facts, causing irreparable unnessecary mental damage. Refusal to engage in all aspects. Going against NICE and iapt working practises and doing so with contempt. My advice...Go private.

I was so poorly and they helped me get the old me back. It was scary but that is why I was there. The team are amazing and they help so many people. Thank you so much.

Best staff in the world, it's like a family, only downside is no one lends you a pen, still could be worse places to work 😐. Sharing is caring

I have found them to be really good. The ward is modern and clean and the food is very good. The staff are very friendly and do their very best with the patients. There also seems to be a very good patients staff ratio.

Place needs alot of working on,staff that are working there have there own issues as we all do.would love to be a volunteer,as I have suffered with mental health my whole life.kind hearted people with there own problems needs more professional help.

1 star as no option for 0!! My family member stayed here and had the most distressing experience, this place is supposed to promote mental health and well being and it does the entire opposite! whilst a very small percentage of staff were very good overall the service provided is awful.Staff lied to family and caused alot of distress, no medications offered, no engagement with patients, patients smoking in main communal areas on the ward, patients having lighters in there possession, staff walk past patients and visitors acting like your not there, dangerous items being left in patients bedroom that we were assured would be locked away for patients safety, no communication between staff patients and immediate family members, no information for patient or family on arrival, you can never get through to the ward phone just rings out.If it can be helped don't allow your loved ones here, my family member was ten times worse when leaving this hospital!!

Probably the worst mental health hospital I've seen staff are vile consultants haven't got a clue with no respect for the patients if you need help in anyway do not go to the cwp DESPICABLE BEHAVIOUR which I could give them 0 stars that would be to many

undoubtedly one of the worst admissions i have had. extremely discriminated against due to my diagnoses, mistreat, unnecessary restrictive practice. awful consultant who neglected me massively, discharging me off a section 3 after 8 months in hospital with zero support in the community, no discharge meeting, no 117 aftercare, falsified and lied in my discharge papers and made me a whole lot worse. extremely understaffed, far too many patients, and zero support.
