Pretty cool place. No mod cons but that's not what you're there for. Couldn't get a warm shower but bath nice and hot. Good service.

This is a little slice of heaven. Tucked away in the quiet outskirts of Mold, if you need to relax, this is the place. It's a gorgeous old building with loads of character. Although the room we stayed in had a sixteen feet high ceiling, it still felt old and cosy. The owners are lovely. They made us feel very welcome and were happy to point out places we may like to see. We will definitely be going back.

Great local hotel with tons of character set in a beautiful former fortified house. John and Steph were helpful and friendly, and Steph’s breakfasts are not to be missed! (I had an excellent Welsh Rarebit). Would happily return.

Amazing location, feeling positive energy from beautiful trees, the field and the forest made you feel warm and happy to be back home with your tribe.

Just visited for the talk and mini tour which was excellent with tea, coffee and some delicious cakes and biscuits included. Don't use the postcode for directions, use the name or what3words.

Absolute hidden gem!! We spent our wedding night there and this place just made me go ‘wow’. Never been in a nicer B&B. I actually felt like a real princess staying there for the night. Service was excellent, absolute privacy and delicious breakfast. I will be staying again. That’s for sure.

Had a great time with our wedding and stay at Tower. John was incredibly helpful and the venue was amazing!

Awful experience, please remember there's no background checks or regulations applying to this accomodation and it was the worst nightmare for our family. Untrustworthy, dispreputable owner who realised when we arrived after a 5h drive that he had mistakenly gave our room to someone else "as he didn't check their name" - then to make it worse instead of having the integrity to fix the problem, he told us to come back after dinner so he could speak to the other people to move, but he said they ignored his calls... so late we slept on the floor with friends. Then after this, he told us in the morning to find somewhere else despite having a baby and a wedding in 2h to prepare for...completely shocking how bad it was and I wouldn't wish it on anyone let alone a family. Please avoid and go to a hotel which has credibility not a hoax!!!

The Tower is one of the area's discreet yet alluring finds for anyone looking for overnight accommodation in dynastic surroundings, or woodland glamping, and indeed for outdoor events like weddings or events requiring seclusion for Daoist or Buddhist practice. I remember enjoying dinner here once with the International Wine and Food Society. This would have been in the late 1980's and I imagine the dining hall for such an occasion would be negotiable. Fast forward a couple of decades and this time my friend stayed here in one of the woodland "glampervans". She was delighted to have the unique features available to her, which she capitalised on to have a family picnic. Nice find.

Whilst the place is very nice. The owners need to vet their guests having outside parties loud enough to annoy half of Mold and the surrounding Villages on the 25th June 2022.. Look at Facebook local forums EVERYONE is complaining! Btw I've just completed a 9 hour DJ set on the Wirral and at least ended it before 11pm..... So I'm far from amused

Amazing place. Full of character. Thanks to John & Steph. Our return visit was every bit as good as the first time. To stay in the Tower is a very special and totally memorable experience in itself. Thoroughly recommended.

It's everything today's homogeneous, commercial, fast food oriented world is not: classy, stylish, unique, picturesque, cultured.

A quirky and characterful bed and breakfast hotel. The welcome was very warm and personable. You will not find any faceless corporate nonsense here. The very friendly Steph welcomed me and sent me helpful pre-arrival emails to ensure my Sat nav didn't get me lost. I am looking forward to breakfast having arranged with Steph to be down at 7:30 to a very normal English breakfast with no special dietary requirements. And the location is perfect. I think a romantic return visit is in order.

I received a very warm welcome at this wonderful and historic bed and breakfast hotel. There are only a few rooms. I was the only guest while I was there and I was made to feel like the Lord of the Manor. Breakfast was terrific, fresh and hot on both mornings I was there. I would recommend it as a romantic get away place or if you are visiting friends, family or have business in the Mold area.

My husband and I cannot praise the Tower enough. It was such a quirky and unexpected find and from the second we arrived we were allowed to feel as if we were at home. We loved exploring the house and gorgeous grounds, including a sunny game of croquet on the lawn. Breakfast was incredible and very generous. John and the others were very welcoming and always happy to help, no matter the task or time. Thank you all so much for our lovely weekend!

Beautiful house and interiors. Land surrounding very picturesque as well. Thought the wood panelled room and library room were stunning. Breakfast good quality and loved the fresh fruit. Accommodating of our timescale. Felt it was a touch expensive but to be fair could just have been that were not used to staying in 4* accommodation and were maybe expecting something unnattainable... Bed was extremely comfortable!
