    This is a place, which is the best brand for coffees hot chocolate. They introduced on festival new drink. For Halloween they new sour apple latte. And for Christmas new products is praline cookie hot chocolate. Which is also good.

    Friendly staff who provided good customer service. Lovely selection of cakes, didn't try the coffee. Its a shame this place is rather dark and really in need of a deep clean, better lighting and possibly a paint job. Avoid the bathrooms! Outdoor seating available. Only parking nearby is the market car park which can be expensive.

    AVOID! I was shouted at as I walked in by a rude member of staff, I had my mask on, She shouted "wait outside" , there were no signs to say wait outside, the shop wasn't busy. Her tone, and the way she said it was just awful. Very rude. I turned around and went to pret instead (I do recommend pret if you want someone polite to serve you).

    i bought a cinnamon roll for my bestie and she and i were very dissapointed with the zest. it was dry and the raisins were not to my liking or hers! there is a pathetic amount of cinnamon, seriously starbucks. step. it. up.

    Some of the staff are really friendly which is why i’ve not ever written a review but the place is genuinely disgustingly dirty, like the toilets are foul every time you go in. Half the time if you get a stay in coffee then it’s given in a paper cup anyway, which would be fine if they warned you at the till that that’s what it’s going to be, but it’s expensive and it sucks that no one even warns you. Legitimately though, don’t use the bathrooms cas it’s probably disease ridden.

    Came in for takeout flat white. Service was friendly and was made to feel well looked after by Adam. My drink seemed to be made with care which I always feel is really important and it definitely showed in its taste! Thanks again, see you soon ☺️

    Super good coffee shop in the Center of Chester. Plenty of seating inside and a few chairs outside for those that like to sit outside and drink there coffee. As always with Starbucks super good free Wi-Fi

    The 4⭐for service is for one of the two women behind the counter so no stars at all for the one that took the order and needed to brush up on finding a smile and pleasant attitude she should be kept in the back out of sight until she learns some customer relation skills

    Needs a good clean! Also told to move from a seating area as it was being closed early instead of an hour later as stated. Speechless at attitude of the senior staff member, especially as my daughter was sat feeding her young baby and we had half our order on the table, when ordered to move! Avoid the toilets at all costs. Customer service training needed for mangement!

    Always a fast and lovely service. I order on the app for pickup from work and my order is usually ready when I arrive, great to skip the queue ☺️ Drinks are always delicious and made perfectly, I’m pumpkin spice addicted! 🎃🍁

    The place was really dirty, and we got charged for take-away even though we wanted to stay inside. We also got charged for the toppings that later turned out to be unavailable. Coffee also was not worth the price.

    I got a matcha green tea frappuccino from this place but it tasted like totally caramel. I saw the former customer got some caramel frappuccinos so guess they didn’t rinse the blender well, and I got it for take away so couldn’t be bothered to go back and ask them to remake. It’s not my first time to be disappointed by Starbucks in this country so I would stick with other cafes like costa even though I like the taste of coffee better in Starbucks. That’s so obvious that they need to be trained more about making their beverages. Service is nice and friendly though.

    Bought a Venti (largest one you can buy) frappe, it came inside a plastic cup which was inside my own cup which defeats the purpose of it being reusable it also meant I couldn’t put my lid on, and it was also significantly smaller than how it would of been inside my cup as you can see in the photos. The store was very busy and I waited in total 25 minutes from start to finish, I also bought some merch and had extra syrups in my drink, the staff were lovely and didn’t seem flustered, despite the drink mishap I would still return. Skye? (Unsure on how to spell their name) was lovely and makes every visit amazing!

    We stopped for a coffee on boxing day. There was only one customer in front, three members of staff were trying to sort out a discount for them. It was resolved eventually and I went to order. A lady from our left came over, pushing infront of us to ask about a cup for sale. I said that I thought it was our turn next and we were then told that we should have queued up from the other direction. The lady was served instead. The lady asked 'Was it their turn next?' and the staff member said, "No they should have queued the other way." We were there before her and were obviously stood waiting to be served, right infront of the till. We left as I wasn't happy with the service. As we were at the door the staff member shouted across the cafe loudly "You need to queue up like everybody else". I don't mind waiting my turn at all, my issue was that we did queue, we were stood infront of the till and weren't even acknowledged, noone seeing fit to tell us that we were apparently stood like lemons. We were very disappointed. I also felt upset by the derisive comment as we left as my mum is in her 70's. It was unnecessary. Atrocious attitude from staff and poor customer service.

    Toilets were absolutely disgusting. I went to the loo whilst my partner waited in line and we decided not to order and visit Costa instead. Mouldy, smelly, toilet paper and water all over the floor, flies. Needs recorating nevermind a clean up. Absolutely would not visit this Starbucks ever again. Looking at the reviews it looks like a common theme from even 6 years ago. Would have taken pictures but didn't want to spend any extra time in there than needed.

    There was a trainee barista on the pass, and I really felt sorry for her. The 2 other staff just left this poor kid to drown. I could see she was struggling and actually spoke to get and she was grateful for what I told her. Yes, she messed up our 2 drinks but surely she should never have been left in this position. Any one could see she was struggling and that's not fair. Hopefully she gets some real training but shame on the others for being so negligent and ignorant to this kid

    Popped in for lunch with a friend last week. Staff were busy but very friendly and helpful. Great selection of cakes. Nice atmosphere. Great coffee.

    Drinks were good but the poor girl doing the drinks was a bit over whelmed needed some help got my first drink had to wait for her to do three or four other drinks before I got my second drink I ordered with my frist,🥱🥱

    A bit disappointed really. Was looking forward to a cold brew or Iced frappe but had run out. Staff shortages apparently. Still they made us an iced Americano on request. The inside seating area was quite messy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while.

    Horrible place. They're not organized at all. There was a young lady who kept getting everyone's order wrong. Because we waited so long just to order and get the drinks, some people would just get it so they can leave, some orders had to be remade. The older lady who was taking orders was borderline rude and very blunt with whoever wasn't white & British. Smiling and very patient if you fit the profile. Really shocking what we saw today. Over all just a bad experience. We travelled to Chester for some shopping and stopped for some cold drinks, but didn't expect this at all. We only chose Starbucks because they had 2 tables outside and the weather was nice. But we should have just stopped at the Costa we went by before coming out of the shopping centre.

    Friendly and efficient staff. The products and value are also fine. Plenty of space. Unfortunately, the amount of scummy people in Chester (and of course all the UK) who were never taught to have any respect for their surroundings and others, means that much more cleaning resource is required for this branch to be the standard you would usually expect at a Starbucks. The tables are cleared fairly regularly but the seats and floors stay filthy all day and the toilets are best avoided. I watched two 'women' put ten sugars each into their coffees then drink them through a straw whilst chain-smoking five ciggies each then leave this absolute mess for the poor staff to clean up (or not). Embarrassing and disgusting in equal measures..

    Great watching people go by on the chairs outside. No longer cumfy chairs around the back due to The Bug. Shortish queues most of the time due to other coffee shops near by.

    The 'take away' offering appears to show an improvement particularly in terms of service efficiency and the general cleanliness of the premises. Will be interesting to see if the latter can be maintained when some sort of normal operation returns. 18 months ago I wouldn't have offered a review.

    Had a coffee there today hand sanitisation station was a mess and container was empty - could do better!!! Plus coffee was really weak , back to Costa in future I think

    Wanted a decent, reasonably strong coffee so went to this Starbucks. My husband took his coffee back because he said the milk tasted off. Mine tasted odd but I put it down to having brown sugar in it. Turned out we had been given coconut milk instead of normal milk. Firstly it tasted odd. Secondly it makes me wonder how sustainable it is for a major coffee chain to be importing coconuts (or however they get it here). I doubt I will be going to Starbucks for a long time.
