Yet another coffee shop. But I thought I'd give it a go. After all, it's Canada's favourite coffee ! They sell quite a bit of food to go with your drink too. The donuts looked VERY tempting. They have a helpful human at the counter service and the faceless interactive order consoles for the under 10's or for those more comfortable looking at yet another screen. Also, for the unique "I can't leave my car" people, there's a drive through.. The service was pretty quick despite the place being almost busy. My latte was without question the smoothest I've ever had, finally no more sharp, bitter coffee. Overall, pretty good. I'll be coming here again.

The queue made me think I was going to experience something new and special. I was wrong. It was average. They offer all day breakfast options which is a masterstroke. However they don't quite taste as good as a normal McDonald's breakfast. I had the Sausage and Egg with cheese Muffin. Coffee was good. That got a 5 star rating. It was a Caramel Macchiato. Sadly not enough bins or staff cleaning. So tables full of rubbish and customers having to move rubbish around to clear tables. Better executed this could get to a 4 but sadly I was underwhelmed.

Fantastic service, brilliant food, awesome coffee, obviously busy being so new, but coping incredibly well. If you want a taste of Canada, then Tim Hortons is where to come. A wonderful addition to what Chester is now offering. Edit 8th August: There seems to be lots of reviews here slagging off the payment methods/queues/even straws & napkins. I’ve been in multiple times now, it’s getting busier because of the good rep, and clearly it’s been unprecedented demand. a) We’re still coming out of the pandemic, and -news flash - unfortunately cash is becoming less and less used. It’s a fact of life so begin to get used to it people. b) The queues are because it’s getting good reputation. If you’re in one, embrace the Britishness of how fantastic we are in queues (and don’t question people lining up if they are in a queue - of course they are - we aren’t standing there for the hell of it) c) Straws and napkins are readily available to grab at the pickup point if eating in or taking away ordering indoors. If you are making a mountain out of a non-existent molehill, then reconsider whether commenting on the Internet is the right life choices for you.

Have been a few times since opening and I have been impressed every single time. The staff that I have encountered have always been friendly and helpful, even when under pressure of just opening and being extremely busy. Very reasonable prices, have a loyalty card system which is always a winner for a coffee lover like myself. Fast service, great coffee and really loved the food! Cooked to perfection, fresh, not greasy at all like most fast food chains. And a big paws up for the pup cup!!!

First time at Tim Hortons for us! On first glance it’s so clean and tidy inside! Very nice! Made my order on the kiosk and waited, Didn’t take long. Just some chicken tenders and a few donuts, oh and a coffee. Really friendly staff indeed! Well done. Will be heading back soon for a full meal.

Like most of Chester i decided to check out the newly opened Tim Horton at the Greyhound Park on its opening weekend. Although busy the queue was moving quickly and the food came out so fast. We used the self service screens and they were easy and quick to navigate. We were impressed by the prices and choices initially and then when the food came we especially enjoyed the chicken burger and tim bits. So tasty!! Staff were doing a brilliant job. Only thing I would say is i sat in the front corner section and there was no bin there, i had to walk across the main entrance where everyone was queuing and waiting for orders with all my rubbish which wasn't ideal. Looking forward to my next visit to try some more things from the menu

Amazing service today on the opening of Chester store. Was really busy but served so quickly both at till and collection point. Being a Tim's fan I was super excited to be going today especially on my birthday! Every single member of staff were helpful and friendly and certainly showed all the new customers to Tim's how amazing Tim's is! I was also given a free box of Tim Bits upon mentioning it was my birthday. Brilliant service as always from Tim's ❤️❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍁

Had a great experience at this Tim's tonight. The food is always hot and tasty and when dining in, the experience is enhanced with the relaxed atmosphere. Big shout out to Nicole who served me. She is always very pleasant and friendly, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you! 😎

Great fast food chain, much better alternative to McDonald's. The crispy chicken wraps are really tasty and we enjoyed both a spiced pumpkin latte and a chai latte. There is a great selection of doughnuts and deserts. The only thing we were not keen on was the wedges, a few of them were brown and inedible, having said this we would definitely go again. You can eat in or drive through and plenty of parking available. Bathrooms are mixed use.

Been waiting for a Tim Hortons closer to where I live! As a Canadian, I feel patriotically obligated to visit them throughout the UK. Was busy when we arrived, but orders were being prepared quickly and ours was exactly as we ordered. Hope it stays popular!

A little slice of Canada here in the UK, although I have never seen burgers and waffle fries in Canadian Tim's, the honey crueller is true to form and great as is the coffe which here is available with oat or soya milk.

Our first time at Tim Hortons. Great experience. Impressed by the layout, cleanliness, staffing and food options. Reasonably priced too. Will be returning again soon.

This place is nice inside, very clean and a good layout with self serve options. Service is not so great, I’ve had a couple of occasions where I’m stuck at the drive through because no one has realised I’m there. But once they’re on it, the staff are very polite and helpful. Recent visit we had a honey cruller that was super soggy but the honey dip was ok. Coffee was good, however the cups did leak even with the lid on correctly. For some reason, just doesn’t compare to the real thing back in Canada! 🇨🇦

I haven't been in a Tim Hortons since moving to the UK from Canada in 2002. Tim Hortons coffee is something I've missed since then so when I found this little gem I had to go in and try it to see if it was as good as I remembered. It did not dissapoint! The restaurant was very clean, the staff extremely friendly and the coffee and Donuts far far better than anything anyone else could serve you over here. All in all 10 out of 10 from me. I have also converted my son who especially enjoyed the chocolate dipped Donuts. I think a Timmy's will need to become a regular treat for us.

We waited 40 minutes after ordering to get our food , staff were not interested and could not be any less helpful, there seemed to be no management and no motivation to get anyone served in a timely manner. When the food arrived it was greasier than what we have had here before any just added to the bad experience. The promotions are the only positive, just need the staff to fulfil them.

The good: nice atmosphere, staff friendly, burgers and drinks tasty Not so good: the most frustrating and unresponsive self service kiosk ever, longish waiting time (manager apologised, so all good), the chicken pieces were hard as rock, no toilet paper or soap in the toilet. Overall space for improvements, but will come again with a hope for a better experience.

You think this is going to be another Karen review but it’s actually the opposite customer service was really hard to beat, treated like royalty at a fast food restaurant what? the food was filling and enjoyable, not often you get both, and the drinks were from another planet Canada’s favourite coffee is an understatement and the fruit coolers are like an unlimited straw to a syrup tap, would 100000% recommend to anybody wanting to try something different to other leading food chains thanks Tim Hortons!

Yummy Milkshake, food was fab. Got chatting to 2 friendly staff (it was pretty quiet) so big props to Nicole and Ghurab for making it a memorable experience. 11/10 customer service.

Banging. First time I've ever been. It smashes mc ds breakfast 😋. Update. Stay away from the bacon pancakes. The bacon is not bacon. I've seen more meat on a nats ball bag.. the sauce was also missing and it was a complete waste of money.

Like warm fries, poor service (slow), place was nearly empty. What happened ? Was brilliant an so much better than nearby competitors. Now less than average. Coffee and donuts only in future

The staff are very friendly and the food is exceptional. A wide variety of donuts which we love. Elliot at the Chester store is always so friendly and helpful and very approachable. Whenever I’m in the restaurant Elliot never stops and goes above and beyond. The guy needs a promotion.

Took my daughter for lunch at first the place looked closed from outside and a bit dull when we ordered from the large screen which was easy to use we quickly received our food. It was basic but tasty. The seats were comfy but felt like we're from a charity shop. Luckily the doughnuts took our minds away from it

This is a nice cozy place where you can relax while munching some good quality foods and drinks. The place is spacious and clean. All the staff are kind and approachable. I love the iced coffee so much! 🥰❤ This is my first time here, but will definitely come back again for more drinks and snacks.

I would love to give Tim Horton's a good review but I don't think I have ever had a good enough experience with them to warrant it. First off, their online delivery through the various apps is a joke - they *never* get the order right. There's always something wrong or missing. The drive through is tolerable, so long as you have your wits about you and watch, then check your order as it's often wrong. Finally, the in-store experience is rarely any better. The order pedestals are a must if you want to see the full menu as the digital displays don't cover everything, especially for vegetarian options...plus the staff often ignore you if you try and order via the tills anyway. Again, the orders are often mixed up and wrong. The staff seem pleasant, so I can't work out if it's ineptitude, apathy or a wanton disregard for any kind of good customer experience. When the food order is correct (very rare) and the hot food is served hot (not often), then it can be a pleasant experience, but that rarely happens. This review is a result of multiple experiences over at least a year... I always hope they'll improve, but they rarely do. Tim Horton's is one for disappointing, incorrect and painfully over-priced food and drink. Honestly, you're better going elsewhere.
