The doctors are OK, but the hardest part is to get through to a doctor! No matter how serious the illness is, the booking agent would not let you see the GP. Even when my 1 year old baby was very ill, they insisted that we can see only a nurse practitioner! Poor attitude of the front desk staff and you rarely get compassionate treatment.

The Doctors were a good help if I was able to get an appointment to see them. Receptionists and admin were the polar opposite. No care was taken for their patients and they think it’s appropriate to take people off their register without informing those people of doing so, would have been a 5 star review if it was just on the doctors but the loss of my medical files and being randomly taken off the register without being told to change surgery’s has gave a very grim outlook of this place

I am not happy with the level of service I've experienced. I wanted to see a GP 3 weeks ago. They told me the new procedure was to fill in an econsultation form, which I did. I then receive an email about booking me in for a blood test which had no relevance to my consultation form. Seeing a GP face to face would have made things much easier. I phoned up again and they told me I can only speak to a doctor over the phone. Somebody phoned me and arranged an appointment for a telephone consultation 9am 17th May. I woke up early and waited for the call which I did not receive. I phoned up about this and was told I'd receive a phone call by the end of the day. I explained I'm working most of the day and the receptionist just told me she can't give me a specific time as to when I'll receive the call. I received a text to say they tried to call me, which I received at a time when I wasn't able to answer the phone. I am fortunate in that I'm not in a life or death situation but the level of service I've experienced has been despicable. I do not like having my time wasted like this.

If I can give zero, I would give zero. I had a serious allergy on my right arm, red, swollen pain and hot and it was Cellulitis! and I called on the 7th August in the morning and the receptionist just told me that my address is not updated and I need to change the address if I want to keep going there, and I told her I did it last year when I moved and I did it online. And she said the information was wrong on their system and I need to go to the GP to amend it by myself. However, she did not give me any appointment and she just said to me that you need to do your consultation and I did it twice and it was useless and the webpage referred to back to the GP…. I went to boots and I thought it was allergy and I got some heyfever tablets but it doesn't help the swollen. On the second day, I had fever and my muscle, lymph and bone was tide and I cannot move my right arm. Thanks god that I remembered I registered another gp when I first moved to Liverpool and I have not been with them for many years, and I call them on Tuesday morning, they did not even say my address is out-dated or you need to check online consultation, and they booked my appointment straight away at 11am, I met the gp and he said I had Cellulitis and it is life threaten, and I was very disappointed that the reception at the Marybone just bothered my address not my life.

Instead of finding a solution, they rather avoid the problem. I'm having a condition for over 2 months and they are still unable to figure out where the problem lies. I'm now consulting a private doctor because of that and obviously at my own expenses. Staff is incompetent (they run a google search to find the answers) and forget to refer you to the hospital when you urgently need to. If you don't chase them, they don't do anything. If you still haven't registered, just go somewhere else. This branch should close down unless staff is replaced with more competent personnel.

Don't register for this practice. 9times out of 10 when you require help they will insist you don't really need to see GP and they can just prescribe you medicine by hearing your voice as they have magical crystal ball that tells them straight away what's wrong with you. I can't wait to move myself to a proper practice as far away from these charlatans. As you can see from the comments this is garbage of a practice

Possibly the worst point in my life due to being completely disregarded by this GP. I’ve been repeatedly going and trying to get a face to face appointment when I finally get a face to face appointment my problem is completely disregarded. I’ve been in and out of work due to my migraines which have happened for over a year now to the point they have made me constantly vomit and still sometimes all I get is an email reply not even a phone call. Recently gone about another problem which I know is another problem and again unless you tell them what you need a test for they aren’t going out their way to find the problem. So please self diagnose yourself and make them listen to you. Currently changing GP. It was a Big red flag when I had to book an appointment for something else and because they had previously avoided giving me an appointment for my migraines. I mentioned my migraine problems again and the doctors said “we don’t have time for that today”

takes 2 minutes to even get through to them and get put through onto the queue. They say have you done an e consultation, they don't work and what's the point of them. Just quit promoting it, it's obviously not working

This is an absolutely dodgy GP practice. My prescriptions have been misplaced the second time in a row today. Last time, it took me 5 days to get back my prescription, and when I did, it was some other medication on it. Who knows what will happen this time. So concerning this is. Please do not register here.

Reception staff are absolutely vile. So unhelpful and rather nasty when I was in a state of distress, caused me to have a panic attack and then told me to calm down and stop crying. Dr Pritchard is an absolute angel! Wonderful doctor, you just have to get past the reception first…

Doctors are unable to give me a diagnosis for my skin condition that I have had for the past 10 weeks. I completed several e-consultations and prescribed several creams which didn't work. The last prescribed cream actually made my skin worse and burnt it. This was prescribed by a doctor who used Google to find out the correct medication. I have raised a complaint but still no response. Really wouldn't recommend.

We have been associated with brownlow health @marybone over 2 years now. The experience has been amazing and the doctors, nurses and other staff are just so welcoming and pay attention to each detail. Always give priority in case of emergency and kids cases. So glad that we got registered with this gp.

No idea what everyone’s problems are. I always get a call back after filling out an e-consult form. Always get an appointment when required. I know surgeries where you wait weeks for appointments

I have had to use the practice quite a lot at the moment and I have found the service to be excellent. I have been able to get on the day appointments when needed. All the staff, from the receptionists to doctors, are very helpful and friendly. The waiting area is a bit daunting at times but the rest of the service makes up for this. I used to hate going there but things have improved alot.

Do not and i repeat DO NOT sign up to this GP. the nurses and reception staff are very nice but the doctor i talked with..... WOW rude, patronising and to be honest Awful! imagine having test done for years from your mid 20s knowing your health and speaking to health care professionals who CARE to explain your health only to change GP due to a move of location and to my surprise to have a rude GP (male) ( clearly he didn't read my notes on the system!) made the decision to move GP best decision i have made.

Since the Marybone practice has been taken over by Brownlow Health last year, I have noted a considerable difference in the standards of the surgery- a change for the better! Appointments seem to be more available and getting an appointment on the day is always possible now- I have never been unable to get one if I phone early. Sometimes you can even get a bookable appointment on the afternoon of the same day you phone, if you are looking for a specific GP! Phoning at 8AM to make an OTD appointment can take many tries and auto hangs up if the line is busy, so sometimes you have to sit and call 30 consecutive times a second apart before you get on the line. I hope this is changed at some point to put patients on hold in a queue as it can be frustrating. The staff are polite, to the point and efficient at making your appointmemt or taking a query over the phone. The reception staff arent always well informed on procedure and services provided though they try to find answers, and in the past I have experienced them being quite rude, choosing to ignore waiting patients at the desk and continue their conversations on the other side of the window instead, though I do have to say this largely seems to have stopped lately since the departure of a certain staff member. The practice itself can feel quite uncomfortable as the waiting room is set up to face the reception desk so all patients there are watching as you wait- I feel that the area may be more comfortably set up as a quad facing into a central space for patient privacy. I cant imagine trying to discuss a sensitive issue in the current setup. Be aware there is only 1 toilet so if you struggle with incontinence, you may have an issue as if someone else already is in there you will have to wait- again, in front of everyone while waiting and asking for the key. The practice has an attatched pharmacy which is convenient, particularly if you have issues with certain items being put through regularly due to restrictions- the staff can just nip through and liase with one another. I would like to hugely commend a resident GP as she is the most outstanding practicioner I have ever encountered and has such a genuine care for patients and the quality of care provided to them. I hope that she recieves recognition for the outstanding work she is doing and for being such a credit to the NHS.

Got an appointment the next working day after phoning. Staff seem pleasant and professional enough. The waiting area and consultation rooms could do with a refurbishment, they're fit for purpose but not pleasant.

I have been registered with this health centre for 7 years. The staff are professional and the service excellent. On almost all occasions I have been able to get a same day appointment. Despite all of the problems the NHS is facing, I have always received a high level service.

Since being taken over by a private company the level of service and attitude of the doctors has gone down hill, the doctors can not be bothered to read patients note and refuse patients medication that specialist supplied, all the information is in the notes or a phone call away, they cant be even bothered to contact specialists to confirm what medication the patent is on. On the plus side when Dr Katey Gardner was there nothing was to much trouble and she would look threw the patients notes to make sure that everything was correct and never refused a patient medication. Now she has left the service and attitude of the Dr's has gone down hill and they have been heard calling patients liars and making them look small in front of other patients. My advice would be to avoid the Dr's and go and register with another practice, and if you are with this practice I would advise to move to another for your own safety as refusing patients medication is not right as well as talking down to then in full public view of other patients.

The worst place is that there is no interest. You just come and go and you do not gain anything. I am only a year old. I have only had an appointment for 7 years. He did not understand the disease. I pity the people of Britain. They have a doctor like this. If I could, I would give them half a star Shivan sharif
