Played this course last Sunday with a couple of mates, managed to get a booking for an early tee off. Ive not played it for a few years. I was astounded at the quality of the greens and fairways. Proper championship rough too!! Credit to the greenkeeper. In my view, the best kept course in the area, lovely views. Great value too.

Hi ,played here yesterday as part of a society and had to say the full experience was brilliant from excellent breakfast , best stocked pro shop I’ve ever seen , course was in great condition and some lovely holes although not keen on 14th hit perfect shot over pole only to lose ball , but hey ho that’s golf , bar staff and locals all very friendly and welcoming , overall great day and defo returning 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Top course at a great price. Probably the best municipal course around. Good challenge, nice friendly atmosphere. Good pro shop.

If you give me a Hour on the drive Range that would make it a 5 star but still brilliant staff

Can't say anything about the golf but I can about having a function here. I hired the room at the clubhouse for my 60th birthday party on 19th August, the staff were brilliant and the food fantastic. All my friends and family enjoyed themselves and said how lovely everything had been. Thanks to everyone it made my birthday even more special.

Tragic that our council thinks building on the only municipal golf course in Kirklees would be a good idea.

Been coming here for years. The course is in okay condition in winter, better in the summer and the greens are in great condition all year round. For the money you could spend twice as much and be happy. Golf shop is always stocked up, staff are friendly, and they pros give great lessons.

Very good greens but the first cut is merciless. It's also very hilly so it's a tough bit of exercise if you havent a buggy. Meat and potatoe pie in bar was poor. I personally couldnt find even a shred of meat. But the service was pleasant and the pro shop efficient.

What a great setup. Bradley should be proud of what they have. I need to put my experience into perspective. It's a long time since I've played there. I played this place soon after it's inaugural years. I've watched "Mark James" & Howard Clark" play here in what was the "Rocar Festival" over 30 years ago. The transformation and maturity now is astounding. Great value.

A very nice well maintained golf course, a challenging course, there is a driving range there, the shop has a range of golf equipment with staff to help out.

Course was in the best condition ever 👌 A bit up and down and long Par 4s. Very few hazards. Very good greens though.

Apart from the poor standard of the bunkers Fridays visit was most enjoyable. Guy in the pro shop was polite and helpful, the course was in great nick, and the greens were very sharp once the sun came out. So all in all a good day all round and all for £20, just gotta get those bunkers sorted to make it a 5 star experience.

I didn't realise that this was open to non-members too. The service is absolutely 💯 the food is beautifully presented. A great place for a party, get together or even a work meeting. You can bring your dog although the seating would be outside.

Went with my son to knock a few balls, he is just getting into golf so a decent basket full of balls each for £7

Decent enough driving range, with a good well stocked shop. Haven't played the 18 course yet

Great course and welcoming staff in the professional shop and the 19th hole!!!! Would recommend the place to everyone!!!

Sorry for the rating , the course looks amazing from where I am , I’m nearby every day but never play golf , but if I did I would certainly be a member

Course is nice. Greens OK. Very slow play. Worth it for the price. 5* as was only 12.50 which is a bargain, plus pie and peas thrown in. 👍👍👍
