It's probably the best ice cream in Chester. The staff are very nice and give the most generous portions of ice cream. The atmosphere inside is pretty nice although it's always very busy. The selection of flavors for the ice cream is pretty good. Definitely will try the other flavors as well. Highly recommend!

This is the place. Great any day, unbeatable on a sunny day, down by the river, with great views. Good food, drink, and the best icecream. Friendly staff. Go on enjoy yourself. 5*

Actually one of the best Ice-cream in this area. I would recommend it. And I hope they do some discount for the students.

Just absolutely delicious, beautiful creamy cool ice cream on a hot summers day. I tried the honey and ginger it was divine. Thanks so much to the two young ladies serving, generous scoops and my friend dropped her ice cream just as we left the shop, and the staff were so kind in replacing it free of charge 🙏

It was a bit busy i wouldn't say over whelming. The young girl with black hair wasn't friendly and was talking quite disrespectfully to the older woman that was working in front of customers. Cups and plates were dirty. The glasses were dirty. Which completely put me off my experience. I have been in the past and I usually don't leave a bad review for places. But respect for your Co workers is a must and the cleanliness was shocking. No warm welcome. Except for the older woman working there. Unfortunately I won't be returning as there are many coffee shops in Chester where the hygiene Is better.

Lovely place to visit after a walk by the river, very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. We were served quickly, place was lovely and clean. Had an amazing hot chocolate and coffee, the vegan rolls were delicious and the cakes were beautiful, will definitely be visiting again soon added bonus was the dogs were allowed inside.

Lovely ice cream parlour in a great location on the river front, the decor is nice and the ice cream is really tasty. The staff were really friendly and went over and above to make us feel welcome and made pleasant conversation and seemed very genuine. The only reason this is not a 5 is that the coffee was not great, I feel as though this was down to the beans that were used for both the caffinated and decaf coffee. The coffee was okay, but let it down. Would recommend this place.

I went to Snughburys to enjoy ice cream. Actually I didn’t try it but it looked good and also other students told me it’s quite reasonably priced. And I think it’s atmosphere is comfortable because it’s not busy in the afternoon in the week.

We walked along the river it was a rainy day so we decided to drop in to this cafe , glad we did , it was clean and tidy the staff were very attentive . We all had a sausage roll and a hot drink , Im not a hot drink fan from cafes but theres was spot on . I would reccomend the sausage rolls if you are passing

Delicious ice-cream!! A bit expensive, but the staff give a generous scoop of ice cream; loads of flavours available :) Photos show chocolate brownie double scoop ice cream in a tub (£4.90), and a single scoop of honeycomb icecream in a cone (£3.90)

Lovely cafe, always look forward to getting a hot drink there when walking along the river. The hot chocolates in particular are lovely. Plus it's dog friendly which is a big bonus!

One of the most generous helpings of ice cream I've ever received! Not much of a wait when we went, but by the time we left the queue was very long. Lovely location, right by the river. Reasonably priced as well.

We had the best homemade sausage rolls we've had in a long time at this cafe. I don't normally eat them because they're usually manufactured pastry and fatty & tasteless sausage meat. These were full of spicy sausage meat and homemade. Try them! Nice coffee too and our grandson loved his chocolate ice cream.

Nice place for a decent ice-cream. Seems to be dog friendly, many people visiting with small dogs there. It has 2 steps out front, but looks like you can just about get in around the side if you need level access. There is a single toilet on site, but it is very clean. Lots of ice-cream flavours. I had the cherry flavour, my other half had the chocolate. Both were really nice on a hot day

The location is amazing , which is what drew us to the coffee shop. We have walked past on numerous occasions and decided to give it a go today as they also allow dogs. However I was disappointed with the drinks. I love to support local, independent shops, however to start with the drinks ordered were different sizes. We ordered a mocha and a cappuccino , standard prices for coffees. However the mocha was considerably larger than the cappuccino. Mocha was between a small and medium compared with coffee chain , however the cappuccino was not even the size of a small. I decided to put that to one side, however when I started to drink my cappuccino there was barely any coffee taste. My hubby tested it just to be sure it wasnt my taste, however he agreed it was like hot milk. I decided to drink it, make the most of the view rather than take it back, which then disturbs your visit. Its a real shame that isn't better as it has so much potential if the coffee was good.

This is a great little riverside cafe. We only used it for ice-cream but the ice-cream was very nice! Prices seemed a bit expensive but the quality of the ice-cream was good! We had a double cone, however this was basically a single cone with 2 large scoops of ice-cream. I do wish the diameter of the cone would match the diameter of the 2 scoops of ice-cream as this would make it MUCH easier to eat, would prevent any scoops falling off, and stop so much ice-cream running down your hands or dripping on your clothes. Overall a nice cafe though and well worth a visit!

Great little Riverside cafe. The cakes look so delicious it's hard just to choose one! My choice this time was carrot cake which was gorgeous! Will definitely be going back again to try more. The coffee was great too!

😠 Ok let's be real, lovely location and very friendly staff however £25.50 for two single gins and two portions of fries. I was very confused! So to this day I'm still trying to do the maths and justify the prices but I still don't get it. I asked the server for an itemised bill to try and understand...

😐 Fantastic food and top service. But had big issues with the bill when we checked it. There were two of us and went at lunch. My wife had set three course at £29.50. I Chose starter and then opted for a steak off menu which the waitresses offered, then a dessert. But we were charged for Three Set Lun...
