Absolutely out of this world. Donner loaded fries and fried "chicken" pieces. Incredibly tasty, massive portions and decent prices. Awesome staff. 11/10

I've only been here twice, but honestly if you're a vegan who is missing fast-food takeout style dining then I can't recommend better. The attention to detail with their mock-meat products is excellent. I had their "fish" and chips today - I've had vegan fish before, but never one where there was a layer of nori seaweed inside to simulate the fish skin and add ocean flavour, and it really did have the exact taste and texture of battered fish (from what I remember anyway). This may be off putting for some vegans who might not like the similarity to genuine meat and fish, but if that doesn't bother you, definitely go for it! Also their portion sizes are enormous for the price you pay - £8.50 for the fish and chips, and I wasn't able to finish as I was so full.

My first visit here, despite being relatively local and in Chester at least once or twice a week. I’ve not eaten meat for nigh on 20 years, and been vegan for about half of that. During that time, I’ve seen a massive improvement in what’s available, particularly eating out. In terms of the food on offer here, it’s one of the best vegan eateries I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. I was given a very warm welcome and talked through the menu. Nice general chat with friendly staff member too. The menu looked extremely impressive; I settled for a ‘doner’ kebab with some fries on the side. Presentation was excellent. The food was divine, very tasty and extremely filling. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes on offer. A final bonus is the wonderful atmosphere of the brand new Chester Market. My daughter chose pasta from another outlet, but we could still eat together with our respective foods. Can’t recommend Vegan House enough (you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy it I promise!). Thanks guys!

Absolutely amazing Doner kebab style wrap yesterday, you guys could get me to go vegan with food that good. Would 100% recommend whether you are vegan or not, if I wasn't told it was vegan I would've thought I was eating some kind of meat!

Had the barbeque beef burger and dirty fries, there's lot of food, great portions. Shame they ran out of the chicken options that day. Still great tasting.

Honestly one of the best vegan food places in Chester. Can't recommend this place enough, we must come at least once a week as it's that good. The doner kebab style wrap and dirty fries are always our go to. 😍

The food is delicious, the staff are really amazing. We even got a free cake for voting in the Cheshire takeaway awards

Great experience here the other night, food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. Only notes would be that as a fully vegan place it has a lot of emphasis on “fake meat” options and I would like to see more purely veg options that are creative without being ultra processed. Little bit expensive given the size of the meals but nice atmosphere and worth a visit!

This vegan food is amazing! I had my first visit to Vegan House on Friday, I had the southern fried chicken burger, salt n' pepper bites, and the fries, and it was soooo good 🤤🤤 It was the best vegan burger I've had, I wish I lived closer to Chester so I could eat there every week! However, I will return and try more of the menu as soon as I can, and until then, I will try to tell as many people about this little vegan gem I've found .. thank you for making awesome food, guys! 😁

Absolutely amazing vegan food! Never had anything like it. The doner kebab was so flavourful and well balanced with spice. I cannot recommend it enough. Super friendly staff too!

First time in Chester Market, got myself the Sunrise Wrap and it was absolutely delicious! I spoke to the gentleman afterwards and he told me that Vegan House make their own Fake Bacon - really appreciate that level of care. 100% recommend to vegans and non-vegans. Great tasting food is for everyone.

Had some amazing food today at Vegan House! Me and my boyfriend tried the dirty fries and Mexican burger and it was soooo good 😍 Best vegan meal I’ve ever had! The service was also great - the staff were super friendly & food was ready in no time!

We ate here for the first time today. I had the vegan hot dog with fries which was really good. My husband had the "fish" and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Will definitely return as we would love to try some of the other dishes. It's quite hard to choose when everything is vegan😍

Definitely good value for money! I ordered döner-style kebab, and my partner went for fish and chips. We ended up swapping the meals half way through, as I wasn't a fan of mine and he wasn't a fan of his either. And that was the best decision ever - I loved his fish and chips and he loved my kebab. Everybody's got different taste buds :) The place is definitely worth trying!

The food was excellent and came in perfectly sized portions. The Döner loaded fries were absolutely delightful and even though I ordered a small portion it was very filling. The staff there was really friendly as well, especially Miguel (I think?) who we talked to whilst waiting for our food. Would go again anytime!

I got a beef-style burger and chatted to the guy at the counter about recycling for a bit. Didn't expect anything else but the burger came with seasoned fries and a little pot of really nice slaw. Excellent food, but would recommend not eating on the go unless you enjoy gerkin raining down your top. These burgers are stacked, and they are tasty. £11.50 for the burger, fries, slaw, and a water, which would have easily seen me through the rest of the evening if I was eating it for dinner. Added extra: the box in which the burger comes folds out and is made of pretty thick cardboard, so you can buy and move and set up to eat somewhere else.

I simply dream of the kebab fries. Theee best around. Every flavour is amazing. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. #vegan

Had the doner style dirty fries. I have to say they are probably the best I've ever had. Absolutely gorgeous, "meat" tasted great and the salad and sauces are super tasty. The fries are lovely and crispy with a Cajun/chip spice seasoning. 100% recommend this place, I will be back to try more of the menu.
