Soooooo as it goes this place is well hidden upon the walls but décor is lovley, clean and tidy! It's quaint and I definitely think you'll love it in here! The staff member who was fr Seattle was lovely and told me her name but useless here easily forgets (don't worry you can't mistake her she's American...Obvs!). There is a monster of a coffee machine and lovley selection of cakes! I had Lemon Drizzle and a Pains au Chocolat 😋 on both accounts for extremely nice! 😃👌🏼 Thanks again both for your service and chat, in the words of Arnie "I'll be back!". Steve (the runner). 🏃‍♂️

Such a lovely little, cozy and wholesome vegan cafe at the historically acclaimed Chester walls. The atmosphere is as pleasant as it can be, cute and cozy. The staff are some of the friendliest people ever and the coffee, pastries and food are absolutely lovely. Special shoutout to the sweetest service staff Alex and the owner Naomi for the homemade goodness served at Fika. 10/10, must visit!

Finding somewhere that does a good flat white with oat milk is so hard. This was spot on! The pastries are great too, all vegan!

Gorgeous little place, ran by the kindest staff! We took our puppy in here a couple of weeks ago, who isn't trained yet ,and they were more than welcoming; providing lots of cuddles, treats and water! The food and drinks were also incredible! I had the gluten free brownie which was amazing!! Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere in Chester to sit back and relax with a nice coffee and something to eat!

An amazing place to go for breakfast. Everything is plant-based and super tasty! The owner made us feel exceptionally welcome, was friendly and readily answered queries about Chester and her business. Tried the vegan poached "egg" on sourdough with avocado, and I have to say, it tasted amazing! The cinammon bun was delightful, too!

We had such a pleasant experience here today, the lady who served us (i think she's the owner maybe) made us feel like we were having breakfast at her home. It was so warm and welcoming, the pastries were out of this world and so was the coffee to go with it. We had the poached "egg" on toast for our breakfast, all three of us were so taken back by how good it was! A real runny yolk! Blown away by everything we had here, I left feeling like we should have paid much more given the quality of it all. Thanks again, I can't wait to try more from your menu!

Absolutely fantastic little cafe. Best flat white I had in months. Also great cruffins (mix of muffin and croissants). Highly recommended!

Fika is a true gem in Chester. A fully plant-based cafe serving pastries and light bites that are all spectacular. It's so difficult to choose, or not just get one of everything. Naomi has worked so hard to make this such a special place, and it shows, not just in the food, but in the attitude of all the staff. Warm and welcoming with top shelf food. I can't recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

A beautiful vegan cafe on the walls of Chester! All of the bread, cakes and pastries are made by one woman in her kitchen and you can tell a lot of care goes into them they were absolutely delicious. A must visit for chester and the staff were absolutely lovely

Very nice spot for a coffee and cake or a light bite. Well done for being fully vegan ! My dad who doesn't like plant milks didn't even realised that he was drinking one ;) Very nice atmosphere. A bit slower service but guys were super busy. It would be nice to see more GF options please.

Lovely Bijou, plant based, dog friendly cafe on the Roman walls (top of Northgate Street). Lovely coffee and pastries etc. Perfect stop off on a walk around the walls!

Lovely, perfectly sized cafe. The coffees were stupendous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a dog bowl inside the cafe (for water) and were accepting of our dog. It is on Chester City Walls. As it was a hot day it was a welcome sight and refuge.

Three generations (gran, dad and kids) all enjoyed our lunch - delicious avocado on home-made sourdough toast, and yummy pastries. Monkey bread was a particular hit! Friendly and helpful service in a great setting. We will definitely go back!

hidden gem along the Chester Chester city wall 💎 ngl, i'm not in the search of any cute cafes when i come across with ⭐️Fika+⭐️ during my walk along the Chester City Walls (which is a scenic walk within the city if you want to stay away from all the city buzz) 🫣 the staff is SUPER NICE and has really nice latte art 🤍 the coffee i had that day gives out some nutty/almond flavour, which i'm quite impressed with the aroma it has 🫶🏻 but what surprised me the most is the lemon drizzle cake 🍋 i have always been a fan of lemon-infused dessert so i feel like it's a call for me to try out the cake as i'll probably visit Chester once 🫠 it's not as sweet as i expect, and the bottom is kinda crispy/biscuit-y, which is something i like 🍰 it is quite moist and tastes buttery, but it's well balanced with the lemon drizzle ✨ the little flowers on top even make the cake more appealing!! 🌼💐🌺

My wife and I had the 'egg' and cress sandwich with sourdough bread and hot chocolate. Both made to a high standard. The cafe is plant based so we were impressed how tofu was able to resemble egg while having a creamy texture. The oat milk used for the tea and hot chocolate was great. The staff are friendly and make customers feel welcome. The cafe is well placed for beginning or ending a walk along Chester's wall to see the city.

Wonderful coffee on the City walls. Time and consideration taken to make a great coffee, and friendly service too. Definitely worth checking out. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Very nice coffee shop ideally situated on the Chester Walls. Very friendly staff, perfect service and a lovely cup of coffee. A worthy 5 stars and next time we go, we'll be trying the food, which looked fantastic.

Always a warm, friendly reception at Fika and exceptional service from the staff. Very dog friendly! Best sourdough loaves (to buy & enjoy at home) that I've tried so far in Chester. Highly recommended.

I don't know why its taken us so long to review this place! We always drop in when we are in Chester. The coffee is amazing, the pastries (and recently added lunch menu toasties) are delicious. The staff are super friendly and the cafe has a really nice relaxing decor/atmosphere inside, definitely worth a visit if you are walking the walls!
