Excellent service. Everyone is super friendly. We saw a sign advertising a “dog pawty” and it was so nice to come to such a friendly environment for the dogs. We were given a gift bag as well for the dogs which was so lovely. Food and drinks as well were smashing. A must come to in Chester!

The heart of chester. An exquisite bar on watergate street. The cocktails are brilliant. The staff are very attentive and full of knowledge. The music selection is outstanding, calling back to the classics, absolutely brilliant! Thank you to the brilliant staff at assembly for making this one of my best chester experiences

Very cool bar with a great cocktail menu. If you like watching the world go by with a drink grab the seats by the window. Could easily spend all day in here listening to the tunes and working the way through the menu.

Without a doubt this is my favourite place for a light bite and a drink or two in Chester. The food is always incredible and the cocktails are delicious. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

What a great place I found on my visit to Chester! Great atmosphere and lovely staff; really attentive. Manager was well informed and a pleasure to be around - a def cherry on the top of a really great night. Will def be back for another visit on my next trip!!

The food here is brilliant. We had pigs cheek, stuffed chicken thighs and calamari. A new favourite place to eat in Chester. It looks more like a bar, although if you don't try the tapas, you are missing out!

Great bar, only let down by the bar staff not letting me steal the sign on the wall !! Seriously your staff were great natured and let us have a really good laugh. See you next time .

Just called in on as we were passing. Was a bit worried as it was empty but then realised it was only 12.30. Omg the best food we have ever had. So much flavour in everything. Service is second to none. Can't wait to come back.

Brilliant singer on the night we went in 4 11 23 the atmosphere was buzzing but not too busy which is a plus as we could get a seat , the staff on the bar were lovely and the place was clean , only thing is im not sure of the shared loos as i had to wipe wee off the seat

We had an excellent experience. The service was very good and James our waiter was very attentive. The cocktails were on point and the food was delicious. The fish with ginger and stems was particularly good. I would recommend

Visited this place on Saturday, went in for a drink at lunch time, had a couple of fabulous cocktails. Liked it that much we booked a table for food for the evening. The food was beautiful and well presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The gentleman running the place was very hands on and very good at he job. I would 100% recommend this place, when visiting Chester.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Visited here for a quick bite to eat at 1900. The place was empty the chef shrugged and huffed when asked if they still did food and immediately brought the sign in which said food served until 9pm. Wrong food was brought to me which was frozen and reheated. Then to top it off, staff were miserable and unapologetic. If you have aby sense, please avoid here like the plague!!!!
