Nice place to have a group party, can reserve dinner and good enough to recommend about taste. place is wide and big for 75 - 80 people. you have to pay for car park 100 per 6 hours. but it's a good option. be careful about trains as the restaurant located next to railway

There is so much happening during the night. Parking available in front for LKR100. Huge variety of vegetarian dishes. Affordable prices. Usually, the food is prepared fresh so tskes about 30min to 45min to serve food. Cold water is provided free of charge. No air conditioning. Ideal place to have a beer and chill.

This was the very first time I have tried out this place. It’s located on the mount Lavinia beach. We really enjoyed their freshly made food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their food is delicious. I really Loved their dish of hot battered cuttlefish, It’s so tasty.🤩

Me and my family are a regular customers of steamboat-mountlavinia resturant. It was a great place in mountlavinia beach to have a delicious meal with the refreshing vibe of the sea for years. But currently I feel like their food quality, service and reasonableness is decreasing day by day. I wrote this not to give negative feedback but to make the staff more aware about the status of the resturant, because steamboat is still One of the best resturants in mountlavinia beach.

Nice place to have food with a view, food is affordable and delicious and served without delays , good staff and service. Not so crowded and kids friendly.

A pretty decent restaurant in Mount Lavinia facing the sea. Came here with some friends for a meetup and late lunch. Loved how the whole place got the beach vibe and how we were able to have our time without worries about the seating and all. Has some music low key as well. Got good food and reasonable pricing. Leaving one star out cause of the not so great service and because there were crows just flying over and trynna snatch food at times, which is not obviously not a pleasant surprise. Anyways would recommend this place.

This is a superb place to have dinner in the open beach sitting in a candlelight table.

I want to say it's good but overall experience is somewhat below average. Food quality not that bad but you wouldn't be satisfied with the quality for the price you pay. No parking available. Customer service is somewhat poor. Also there are crows that would just fly in to your food plate and snatch food. Not a pleasant surprise.

We really didn't like it. People who claimed to be car park owners but who weren't really car park owners and who were really drug addicts who pretended to be car park employees charged money from us.

Beachside restaurant in Mt. Lavinia. Great location to be relaxed with sea breeze. Parking is available in a separate location. Food quality is not much good. But they comes with a larger portion size and reasonable pricing. Measures taken against COVID 19 is not adequate. (Just a hand sanitizer bottle at the entrance.)

Boring and not very authentic tasting or that great for the matter. The primary thing that I can give it is that they almost always have seating available on the sand and have great views. I have eaten there twice but there are better options close by and other places serving comparable food at better prices.

Had a night party here. Located near beach and railway tracks. Theres no any vehicle parking in nearby and you have to cross the railtrack to visit this place. Place is okay. Staff is friendly. Be careful in late nights becauae some drunken peoples are messing up

At the end of Vandervert Place, cross the railway lines and you are there.. You can request for tables to be placed near the seashore... and enjoy a good view.. There was a DJ on a Friday, I guess, he will be churning out music on Saturdays too.. Food is tasty.. Many varieties... You can take your liquor and go.. No corkage..

My kind of place to have a drink and party on a Friday night. The staff over there is really friendly. The best dishes are hot butter cuttlefish and the black pepper pork. Wouldn't recommend this place if it's windy as the sand blows up right in your face and on all the food.

Good place to have a small get together. you can book your table and meals early. very limited number of tables in beach area most of the times you have to be there before 6 O'clock to get a table with a good sea view. good bar facility available and they have variety of different drinks. Vert disappointed!! The place was not hygienic at all. We served plates which was not washed. Stray dogs was crawling around the place. Its very sad to see how the place is managed now. It was a mess

Excellent tasty and reasonably priced sea food dinner with large extra large portions and well served meat items and cashews and fruit juices at this beach side restaurant at Mount Lavinia beach easily accessible with superb customer service by stewarts who are very friendly and helpful. The candle lit lamps on tables with the ocean breeze is very relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Highly recommend for singles, couples and groups to dine and chill out.

Thought to try out this place with my daughter. Not a good vibe.... The manager kept coming several times to the table and interupting us. First it was to ask if the food was ok.
