No proper service. They are only care foreigners but we also paying more than them. Also food is not good as per money value. Also we asked water and cool drinks and waited long. We even finish food still didn't get water. Anyway it's near beach so atmosphere is good but we can freely enjoy beach. No need money for it.

A great chill-out spot right next to the beach, amazing view and environment, but not efficient staff as promoted, place needs to be more tidy and staff has to be more efficient. On the other hand, good place for a normal meet up and have a chilled beer

I have been visiting this cafe every month since 2008. Feeling the breeze on the beach and enjoying a great snack from boat haus cafe is great way to enjoy the evening.

A beach side restaurant and beautbeautsetting on the beach shade. Clean and clam envienvironm suitable for any age group. Get crowdecrin the friday night and weekend nights. And a little music band playspin the friday night. Some foods are amazing. Specially hot butter cuttlcuttle. Simply superb and you should try it. You can buy beer so outside beers are not allowed. But they don't sell hard liquor. So outside bottles are allowed. Staff some what good. Nice place to have a chill with friends and family. Steam boat is recommended for anyone to have good food with reasonable price tag.

Boat hay’s cafe has really nice sea view and good place to have a beer or alcohol with really tasty bites and food options. Also their staff is really friendly and service is really excellent. I would like to recommend this place for having beer. Also keep in mind that this is just next to Colombo Galle railway track and better to keep in mind to be safe when you come in and go back l

We came at around 5pm and ordered a mix rice, ate because we were hungry, the rice was precooked and they just warmed and gave ….had a funny smell too, I’ve been to this place before seems like they are not worried about the quality anymore, not recommended

The service was terrible. I booked a table in advance for valentines day for two at 6 pm. But when we reached there on time the table wasnt ready. The staff didnt care much and they didnt even bother to arrange the table for more than 10 minutes or even ask us to take a seat till they arrange a table. After asking twice about the table we just left as we didnt want to ruin our mood..

Very bad customer service. Went on a busy friday and dint have adequate staff even to serve us. We waited 2 hours for the first drink to appear. And they dint even care whether we are worried or not. And all the food we ordered were below basic level. It was apparently due to the rush which cannot facilitate by the few members of staff. Soup and food everything was the same. Evwn the attitudes of waiters are very bad.

No corkage charges. The service is not that good. Recommend reservations. Prices are reasonable. There is no consistency of taste or quality in their food which is the only downside of this restaurant.

Great place on the beach. We had a small get together and got them to arrange tables on the beach at night. Parking is before you cross the railway track, at the end of beach road.

Pathetic service. After ordering a regular meal, they have billed it to a full one. And the reason they given was that they thought a regular one would not be enough.

One of the places where we would love going for a nice dinner. The Thai style dishes are the best here. Their pork dishes and seafood dishes also are good. Now they have a yacht converted to a table with a hut is our go to favourite spot.

A family wedding was held at Boat Haus Cafe on December 17. I oversaw the day's activities. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic service they provided. Before the ceremony began, they met all of our needs. The arrangements and decorations were exactly as we had instructed. Once things got going, the service we received was fantastic. Each employee did their very best . Among them, several employees are deserving of special attention. At the bar, Ganesh, Sujeewan, and Upul were really busy and efficiently running bites and other orders. Lahiru and Lalith also gave our many requirements their full effort. Kaushi, that tiny little girl, was working hard, smiling and moving quickly as she ran those heavy trays full of drinks and others. Finally, Janaka, is the best manager any hotel could ask for. He was extremely helpful from the start of the wedding planning and customizing menus, etc and on the wedding day Thank you to the kitchen staff for preparing the best meal. Without hesitation, I can state that as clients, we received 100% assistance and excellent service until the very last second of the event. Thank you to the Boat Haus Cafe and Team. <3 <3 <3 <3

As tourists we felt scammed. They charged 1000 rupies extra (hand written on the bill) for a bottle of water. Also the food was not too good, the roast beef felt like they just used leftovers. The location is beautiful though.

Very poor customer service. I asked for the menu from the cashier, and he asked one of the waiters to give the menu, but i never got the menu for like 30 mnts. Very poor attitudes. Would never visit this place again. We were told that outdoor seatings were not available and could not arrange one, but then they suddenly arranged a table after a while but not for us.

Poor poor poor service, why did i even stop in this place after passing all the good restaurants. We ordered a beer and some bytes, we got the drinks first and by the time our bytes arrive we were done with the drinks! They took more than an hour to bring the bytes. Never ever ever gonna visit this place!!!!
