the
difficult
situation
Sri
Lanka
is
experiencing
today,
it
is
hard
to
find
an
honest
person
who
knows
humanity,
where
the
motive
of
making
money
somehow
is
emerging
in
the
people.
In
the
meantime,
I
would
like
to
express
my
gratitude
to
Mr.
Thushara
Fernando,
the
owner
of
Catamaran
Restaurant
on
the
Mount
Lavinia
beach,
and
his
staff
for
giving
a
valuable
example
that
there
are
still
good
people
who
are
rich
in
humanity
who
uphold
human
values.
On
the
2nd
of
April,
we
went
to
Catamaran
Restaurant
to
celebrate
my
daughter's
birthday.
Although
there
are
several
such
restaurants
on
the
Mt.
Lavinia
beach,
I
was
impressed
by
the
warm
welcome
and
hospitality
of
the
staff
at
Catamaran,
which
was
the
main
reason
I
chose
that
place
for
my
daughter's
birthday
party.
What
I
am
going
to
say
is
an
opportunity
to
show
human
qualities
that
go
beyond
that.
On
the
way
home
from
the
birthday
party,
my
hand
just
went
to
my
neck
and
I
felt
that
I
didn't
have
the
gold
necklace
I
was
wearing.
We
immediately
went
back
to
the
restaurant
and
informed
the
staff.
From
that
moment,
they
began
to
search
for
the
missing
necklace.
Needless
to
say,
finding
something
like
a
gold
necklace
in
such
a
sandy
land
was
a
daunting
task.
However
they
eagerly
searched
for
my
lost
necklace
and
found
it
under
the
sand.
But
the
pendant
was
not
there.
We
searched
for
it
for
some
time
but
did
not
find
it,
so
we
thanked
them
and
left
for
home.
The
next
day
I
called
Mr.
Thushara
again
and
thanked
the
staff
and
him
for
finding
the
missing
necklace
the
day
before.
Mr.
Thushara
then
said
that
the
lost
pendant
was
also
found.
I
wanted
to
record
this
incident
on
social
media
as
a
token
of
gratitude
to
them.
The
presence
of
such
honest,
good
people
in
today's
society
should
be
truly
commendable.
My
heartfelt
thanks
goes
to
Mr.
Thushara
Fernando,
the
owner
of
Catamaran
Restaurant
and
all
the
staff
who
worked
there
that
day.
