Ate here each lunch time of our 3 night stay in Mount Lavinia. Tharaka tempted us in on the first day and was an excellent host welcoming us everyday. We always shared a meal with a couple of cold glasses of wine for me and cans of beer for my husband. The bill was around 5555 each time and they accept credit cards. Food was fresh, hot and tasty with Nasi Goreng a particular favourite. The beach front location cannot be beaten. Highly recommended. Thanks to Tharaka.

Had a great morning and early afternoon at Shelton! Kind service (especially by Tharaka), good coffee and tea, and great food; we particularly loved the grilled barramundi.

If you want to spend a lazy day at the beach, this the right place to stay. Ranjith and his team are very friendly and helpful people. They offer snacks, as well as other tasty food for lunch or dinner. We have been there very often and were never disappointed .

First time leaving a review, wish it could be more positive! Woefully bad...Frozen and massively overcooked shrimp and “cuttlefish”, no salt nor even an attempt to season the potatoes and the “deviled sausage” was overcooked hot dogs smothered in sweet and sour sauce. In their defence; great view of the beach, nice staff and it doesn’t seem like this beach is stacked with better options. Going to leave a positive review elsewhere for good juju 🤟🏽
