One of the best restaurants in Boralesgamuwa to experience authentic rice and curry. Other foods items are just as good. Place is packed during the lunch time but it's worth it

Really badly cooked hoppers I ordered this for my 3year old child u have to confirm that u are giving the eatable foods to ur customers really bad standard food m not recommended this restaurant my first and last order with u really disappointed change ur service quality and tell ur staffs to not send these type of rubbish to ur customers

Lunu mirisa offers you a complete variety of authentic Sri Lankan food. Price is in just above the average but it wort every penny. Served on a “Nelum Kole” with commendable potions of meat and mouthwatering selection of curries. Most preferred curries - -Polos Curry -Mango Curry -Beans Fry / Curry -Cashew Curry -Kos Kirata curry. And be sure to include a salad from them.

The brand new restaurant of Lunu Mirisa is a great place to have mouthwatering and delicious foods for takeaway and dine in. And the food rates are very reasonable. Worth for money at all.

Initially, this place used to offer exceptional food with great quality. However, I’m sad to say that the quality has been declining consistently. Today, I ordered a large fish mix rice, and to my dismay, the dish only contained the fried skin part of the fish. This experience left me thoroughly disappointed. It appears that their focus has shifted solely to business, especially after their move to the new location. I can no longer recommend this place to anyone due to the evident decline in food quality and the seemingly profit-oriented approach. It’s disheartening to witness such a decline in what used to be a cherished dining spot.

I have placed an order with them for 90 lunch packets ( Rice and curry) for a donation. The food was really tasty and the curries were in sufficient portions. The order was ready on time. I have given the same order for many other well known places before such as Fab, Green Cabin, Nelum Kole, Raffles etc. but this is the only time I can be satisfied with the quality of the food. I would never hesitate to order from them in future.

The taste was fine. BUT,, The portion is exteamly small. Paid 590 rupees for a portion that is not even enough for a single person. We bought two of the chicken rice of the set menu and it was not worth the price.

Lunu Mirisa is a restaurant which offers authentic Sri Lankan food. Rice and curry is available and we get to select the curries that we want. They have many food items on the menu from string hoppers to fried rice. Soups and milk shakes are also available. Prices of the food items are also average. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. Loved the interior work done with bamboo. Customer service is good as well. Very friendly staff. Parking is available for only around 4 vehicles at a time. The overall experience was good. Can recommend for take away or dine in.

If you like to eat rice and curry this place is recommended. There are so many varieties to select. Taste is good. Little bit of crowded. Parking space is limited.

A great place if you plan to order local Srilankan cusine. Little bit over priced but food quality is really good .They provide a good mix of vegetables and curries if you plan to buy rice and curry. Hygiene Concerns at Lunu Mirisa, where I found a WORM in my rice! I recently visited "Lunu Mirisa" for lunch, drawn in by the promise of a lively atmosphere and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The ambiance was indeed entertaining, with live music and a bustling crowd. However, my dining experience quickly turned sour when it came to the food they served. I must commend the restaurant for its exceptional service despite the long queues. Each customer received personal attention from the staff, which was impressive given the busy environment. However, my primary reason for visiting was to try their food, and that's where they completely let me down. After much anticipation, I was served a pork dish from the standard Sri Lankan menu. Sadly, my excitement turned to disgust when I discovered a worm in my food. This discovery completely ruined my impression of the restaurant. No matter how good the service is or how entertaining the atmosphere, providing safe and hygienic food should be the utmost priority. I immediately brought the matter to the attention of the manager, who did apologize, but the damage had already been done. Finding a worm in my dish is not only unappetizing but also poses serious health concerns. I did not consume the food, but the mere presence of the worm left a lasting impact on me. I understand that busy establishments face challenges in maintaining quality control, especially during peak hours. However, the restaurant should prioritize the safety and hygiene of its dishes above all else. Customers should not have to worry about finding unwelcome surprises in their meals. In conclusion, while "Lunu Mirisa" may offer a lively atmosphere and attentive service, my unfortunate experience with finding a worm in my food has left me with a negative impression of the establishment. I have ordered Egg Fried Rice and a Fish Kottu. What can I say ? 😉 the taste is better than the other restaurants. And the large portion is surely enough for 2 regular pax. Appreciate their food quality and the service. Food packaging is also attractive. Do not hesitate to order from them ♥️ Keep this food quality everyday.

Small place so nearly 15 people can only dine in a time. For the dine in or takeaway orders sometimes we have to wait in a queue for a long time. Because most of the time they give priority to Uber eats or pick me foods. Foods are quality and tasty for a reasonable amount of price.

Variety of food, taste is not bad. They will say the large potion is enough for two but that's not true. Mostly busy. May be call and order in advance and collect it to avoid the waiting time

Useless Kottu. Only chicken bones with a very few fleshy pieces. Just a mix tasteless rotty packed up in the box. Absolute waste of money! Don’t bother ordering from here.

e ordered a Chicken Koththu for takeout, and it was incredibly delicious. The service was top-notch, and they even gave us a small token with a blinking light after placing our order. When our order was ready, the token rang and flashed lights, which added a fun and unique touch to the experience! The cleanliness of the place was outstanding, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly. While the prices may be slightly higher than usual, it's absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it.

Food is excellent. Portions are good as well. The service is very good. I have not tried dining in but from what I could see the atmosphere is pretty good. There is a wide variety of curries of which you can select one protien and 4 vegetables for the rice and curry. Overall the experiance was excellent and I am a recurring customer.

The current setting is much better than it was before. Very underrated spot when it comes to their rice and curry. Has a whole lot of variety too. Parking is sometimes difficult during peak hours

I went to eat nasi goreng it was sea food and price was 1600 and a chocolate milkshake for 300 price was fair however they serve in so nice way to me i went alone but they served nicely to me.

Was a good place to have a decent meal But now thay don't focus on dine in customs. More into delivery's. So have to wait for longer to get served.

I ordered Rice and Curry and Fried Rice from this place through Uber eats, the food was tasty and they had good portions in the first 2 times last week. And today I ordered again. So It’s the 3rd day of ordering from this place this time the quality dropped for sure. The fried rice cost me almost 1000 but was not even tasty.

The best place for a decent meal of rice and curry for lunch !! Dinner also lotsa choices available. Our every Saturday or weekend lunch is from here . Because it tastes like just from home and very hygiene. Highly recommended!!

The food is served on a Nelum Kole (Nelum Leaf, Traditional way of serving food without plates) . Highly recommended for Sri Lankan food which is rice and curry. Several curries are available to chose from. There is fish, chicken, pork options available. Even yellow rice and fried rice is also available. The inside dining space is not that big and it does get a bit crowded during the rush hour lunch time.

They have varity of items to choose. But the food is not tasty, We feel, they don't use quality spices. I believe this can be improved.

One of my favorite spots for authentic Sri Lankan food which tastes amazing. They do have other options like fried rice and biriyani, but do you really wanna try those from a place called Lunu Mirisa (it loosely translates into Chilly Onions which is a like a local side dish). Go and get that Rice and Curry! Their portions are huge and you can choose the curries you need. The place is a little small though so you'd most probably have to wait a little till a space is available. Parking is also a little hassle if you ask me, but I think it's worth it.

Tasty food for reasonable prices. Not much space inside, but manageable when it's not busy. Worth Trying!
