Found it kinda similar to KFC but the standout was the biscuit sandwich which was much creamier and had a unique taste. Vibe is cool and place is so spacious. Accompanied with the glomark mall.service is nice and friendly too. Decent place to visit but no wow fact for me.

Clean & spacious place inside the Glomark mall with an attractive ambience. There are similar meals like KFC but their Crispy chicken burger was much better & delicious. Fried chicken wings tasted dull but BBQ chicken wings were okay. Burgers were worthy for the price but chicken wings were overpriced and unworthy. Good customer service. Quick delivering. Parking is available.

We ordered Peri Peri chicken wings along with the bold BQ dip. The wings were very soggy and not tasteful. The dip was horrendous and had a burnt flavor. Not recommend.

Looks similar to KFC. They have some variants of prawn dishes 🍤. They deliver. But no drive through available. You can pay with cards. Prices seem to be similar to kfc. They have few toppings which is unique but we have to pay some extra bucks to purchase them. Place was not too crowded when I visited last. Staff was supportive and friendly. At the last visit they mentioned that hot braverages are not available. Flow and tables were cleanly.

Bad experience first time around. Shrimp sandwich took twenty minutes to be prepped. Apparently the cook was training new recruits. I failed to see how that was my problem. Also the Cajun fries were soggy. The classic chicken sandwich was rather dry. I hate when chicken is not juicy. The mustard sauce helped a bit. The Cajun shrimp burger was good. Comparing with price point, the food was so so. I mean two out of three food items were lousy for me. And Popeye's service was lousy!

Very difficult to find this place. Me and my mother was search the shop for at least 10 minutes then only we get to know that shop is in downstairs. This is not so big but well organized. Staffs were kind and helpful. The food also tastes good. The portion is very big and valid for the price. Good quality and different unique taste. You should try them out and the you will be a regular customer. Ice milo was my favorite.

Not worth visiting in my opinion, it's another case of don't meet your heroes, You see food reviews and everyone is like popoeys has the best fried chicken, but thays not the case.Fried chicken was bland and the batter was over fried but the chicken was under cooked. Fries were well I didn't like themp but my gf did, prawn popcorn was the only thing that was remotely edible. Even that is not that special just buy a panko mis and some prawns and fried yourself.They charge 150 per sauce if you want something more than just tomato catchup. Burgers use the same tasteless bland over fried bredding, fried chicken, ON TOP OF ALL THIS BOTH ME AND MY GF GOT FOOD POISONING. had several episodes of you know what. We couldn't try any of the coffee or the ice cream I just wanted to get out if their cos the place was deserted and the staff was staring at us both the whole time we were eating. (I felt I was being watched 😀). Anyways drove like 14 km to go there and come back with disappointed results, I'd have the 3 letters of fried chicken over this all day everyday. Just such a disgrace that these kinda placed give food POISONING and charge this much money to do so, even handiye koththu kade doesn't sometimes give you food poisoning 🙃 (I did say sometimes )

It was the first time I went to popeyes. It is located opposite side of st. Thomas collage colombo. Such a nice atmosphere. Not crowded. There's a odel and a glomark supermarket there. Parking space also available. Its easy to find. We ordered bbq wing rice, fried Calamari, coke, sprite, regular fries, peri peri chicken. Altogether it was around 3000. Its really good. Delicious and had a nice flavour in it. Really loved it. The employees are friendly and helpful. I'm really satisfied 😌 highly recommended 🍟🍗 definitely go and try.

Popeyes, the American multinational fast food chain of fried chicken is finally here! With the help of Softlogic, they've launched their first branch in Sri Lanka, right at the basement of Mount Lavinia Softlogic Glomark supermarket.

One of the best places to have burgers 🍔 of course! Must say this would be the new favorite to go in! We tried chicken burger and shrimp burger and they were out of words! Love the combination!!! Also the fries were next level! And we had mojito also and it was nice too.. The service was good and were really helpful! Of course it’s a must visit!

Ordered a Classic Chicken Sandwich and it was really good with the fries. The chicken was not the usual one you find in other fast food outlets and it was tastier. Limited seating space is there as of now, hopefully they will expand. Located at the basement of Glomark. No complaints whatsoever. Service is excellent.

Poppeys in Mount Lavinia has always been a go-to spot for some mouthwatering grilled delights. I would have preferred a milder sauce that allowed the chicken’s flavor to shine through. Overall, Poppeys Mount Lavinia offers a good variety of grilled options. The Grilled Chicken Rice is a standout, but I’d recommend asking for a lighter sauce on the Grilled Wings if you prefer a more balanced taste. The restaurant’s ambiance and service are top-notch, making it a pleasant dining experience.

A good place to spend time while having something. Not too busy in the morning. A large portion of rice is served but very small chicken pieces.

It's a nice fast food chain. Although I don't like all their range, BBQ chicken winhs was delicious and amazing. Their relicensing is ok and value for money. Recommend for a different food experience. Limited seating available.

Ordered mix and match spicy chicken and grilled chicken. Spicy chicken has more color than spice but would be enough for an average person. I would prefer it to be a bit less fried. Grilled chicken was done for perfection. Juicy as well as nice char grilled with a hint of cumin. Would try other options and see in the future.

This fast food restaurant is situated adjoining the Glomark in Mount Lavinia. The dining area is spacious & clean and has a good ambiance. Unlike many other fast food chains, Popeyes has a variety of seafood options. Their Cajun Shrimp Burger was tasty & could easily fill up the stomach. The staff was very cool & friendly, while providing a good service.

Situated opposite STC, they seem to serve decent burgers. Definitely not the best I’ve had and certainly not worth the price. Their biscuits were a tasty but again buttermilk was a rip off. Their peri peri chicken wings weren’t even close to having a peri peri flavor. They had ample amount of parking. In a nutshell, the food value isn’t worth the money you spend there.

Quite good. Enjoyed the chicken sandwich that caused fights in US. Peri peri chicken was quite good. Excellent customer service. Place has very limited seating and needs some shade on the sides where there are glasse walls. Cannot sit on some chairs here during the day time due to sunlight.

Can't hold a candle to the Popeyes in other countries. The classic chicken sandwich tastes nothing like the original Popeyes Chicken sandwich. It's better than other local fast food places like KFC, BK etc. But that's not a very high bar to match.

Visited here for some experience. Seems some staffs are new to work. Food prices are bit expensive compared other fast food restaurants. Came to this place via Mount Lavinia Glomark. Once you get in to Glomark, there is stairs on left side. You need to take stairs or the lift for ground floor and you need to walk all the way other side of the building. Washrooms are out side of the restaurant. For that again you need to walk other corner of the building. Food is tasty and delicious.

Hearing a lot of not so good reviews expected something not really tasty but, honestly their grilled chicken burger is one of the best I ever had. The chicken was so juicy and tasted so delicious. I loved the fact that the vegetables used their are so fresh. I am usually not a fan of fast food but, I loved this one. Next is their Cajun shrimp burger. Loved it totally. They have introduced BBQ chicken wings. It is so spicy but tasted good. I haven't tried other items on the menu but with these three I'm totally pleased. The place is spacious enough and nice seating. Processing time is pretty fast. Prices are a little about reasonable. Not so crowded the last time I visited.

Walked in with my family for the first time. We were actually heading to KFC, took a sudden decision to try this place. Decision wasn't a bad one at all. Superb food, hot and fresh. Had a nice time. Friendly staff.

The burger was good. They don't add cheese to the burger🤷‍♀️. It comes under the 'Add On' option. The popcorn chicken was crispy and amazing❤the portion was good.. Overall its a nice place.

I tried these guys via Ubereats. While the order did take awhile, I'm reviewing only the food here. The spicy burger was disappointing, had a weird after taste, the bun was soggy with butter and the sauce just didn't have a good taste. The fires were also pretty sad, the seasoning just didn't agree with me. The popcorn chicken was the only item that was alright, but still wasn't great to give it five stars. Hope they improve, as more international restaurants are always welcome.

Good place for fresh Popeyes chicken. Not crowded and have enough space. Peri peri chicken is preferred as those are bit spicy. Ice milo is really good and not mixed up with ice cubes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good parking space. Only minus thing is that they have normal rice not Basmathi 🙄

Had a Classic Burger with Fries it was overall better than I was expecting. The burger was scrumptious! And the fries 😍 (They do have sauce packets and Popeyes special sauces) Sorry couldn't take a picture of the burger right off finished the burger. The only downside is the place is too small, place is crowded, still worth the wait in queue.. Will be coming back.
