South
Indian
food
comprises
of
a
wide
range
of
cuisines
from
the
Five
primary
States
of
the
Southern
Region
of
India;
namely,
Andhra
Pradesh,
Karnataka,
Kerala,
Tamil
Nadu,
and
Telangana.
These
states
consume
both
vegetarian
and
non
–
vegetarian
dishes
which
make
use
of
spices
and
condiments
originating
to
their
specific
region,
giving
the
food
unique
flavors,
textures
and
aroma.
Rasam
has
a
vibrant
and
full
of
life
ambience
owing
it
to
the
colors
used
for
the
space
making
the
interiors
soothing
and
mood
enhancing.
Palm
and
Coconut
tree
art,
the
blue
walls
and
yellow
sofas
brighten
the
ambiance
of
Rasam.
The
interiors
are
adequately
spacious
with
comfortable
seating
arrangements.
The
area
is
naturally
lit,
ceilings
cladded
with
handmade
jute
ceiling
lamps.
Sofas
by
the
windows
are
very
comfortable
and
more
private
than
the
other
areas.
On
other
side,
are
the
long
brown
chesterfields
by
the
wall
painted
into
palm
and
coconut
tree
wall
arts,
giving
the
corner
semi
forest
–
wood-ish
feel
along
with
restful
industrial
chairs.
Tables
dressed
with
earthen
pots
with
green
plants
and
copper
glasses
for
water
have
been
introduced,
natural
cutlery
with
a
modern
twist.
Rasam
is
a
pure
vegetarian
outlet,
serving
a
variety
of
authentic
and
flavorful
South
Indian
cuisines
especially
as
good
options
for
breakfast.
Soups,
Mocktails,
Appetizers,
Idli
and
Vada,
Uttapam,
Dosa,
Main
Course,
Sadam
and
Rice
and
Special
Thali
over
the
weekends
is
what
one
can
enjoy
when
visiting.
Oh!
And
don’t
forget
about
the
desserts,
like
traditional
kheer
and
halwa.
I
would
recommend
trying:
Appe,
Podi
Idli
Fry,
Mushroom
Pepperfry,
Raagi
Milagi
Dosa,
Cheese
Uttapam,
Puliogare,
Rasam
Rice,
Set
Meal/
Special
Thali.
Each
prepared
with
different
spices,
beautiful
presentation
and
distinct
flavors.
It
was
a
satisfactory
experience,
with
pleasant,
and
calm
vibes,
aromatic
ambiance,
perfect
for
a
lovely
brunch
or
a
light
dinner.
The
service
was
fine
but
can
be
worked
upon.
The
food
was
prepared
in
full
hygienic
conditions
as
they
have
an
open
kitchen,
the
food
can
be
viewed
while
being
prepared
and
their
presentation
is
beautiful.
The
staff
can
be
a
little
more
humble
towards
the
customers.
The
prices
may
seem
to
be
a
little
on
the
higher
side
but
the
quality
of
food
and
ambiance
shall
justify
that.
Do
visit
to
witness
an
unforgettable
South
Indian
experience.
