We came to Abalonetti for lunch and had a really good meal. We were craving fish and chips and a fish sandwich and that’s exactly what we ordered. Both items were really tasty and filled the craving that we had. We also ordered a cup of clam chowder to warm us up after a morning of being on the sea for whale watching and it was also good. The service was nice and all the staff we interacted with was friendly. I would definitely recommend Abalonetti to anyone that’s in the Monterey Fisherman’s Wharf area.

The freshest of great seafood. Indoor and outdoor seating. Glass panels break the wind outside on breezy days. Shucked oysters or cooked. Special menu for your 4 legged friend!

Welcoming environment from our first step in the place! I got the fish and chips, crab cakes and cheesecake…can’t complain! Affordable prices and not to mention delicious! The service was efficient and the ambience was delectable! I will be coming back!

If you are looking for a place with good Cioppino, you have found it!! Before going here, I read somebody else’s review and they said the cioppino here was life-changing. I don’t know about that but I have had a lot of different cioppinos in my life and this one is definitely in the top two. I want to go to Monterey, just to have it. The pacific Sand Dabs were also delicious. It’s not cheap, but worth it. The service was great and the restrooms clean. You can stop looking now and thank me later.

I ordered the fried Calimari, Pacific Sand Dabs, Cheesecake. My Mai Tai was yummy and strong. I honestly came so I can watch over my kayak while I ate in the patio and it was a perfect choice. Perfect lunch at the harbor. Service was excellent.

Best place on the wharf!!! Dinks were on point! I had the Monterey Mai Thai and fresh oysters to start with. My entree was a seafood packed, creamy penne pasta! It was sah-tasty. SO MUCH SEAFOOD! We ended with a creme brulee for us to share. Hit the spot. One of the best seafood pastas I've had in a while. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 would recommend

Friendly staff, amazing food and best value. You must try the wood fire 🔥 roasted oysters 🦪 and slather it on that homemade bread 🥖!!! You will not be disappointed. We checked all prices at the pier and they had the best, they even had .99 cent oysters 🦪 😍😍😍

This place wasn't bad, but we will probably not go back. The grilled sardines were good. However, their shellfish tasted frozen, which is not what you want from a place on the water. Especially when paying a premium price

We arrived as a family of 14, including children, they served us well, the attitude was excellent and the dishes are delicious, highly recommended

Came here with the family for lunch and enjoyed every minute of it. The service was great and the food was excellent! I ordered the Captain’s Platter which was very tasty and well cooked. No rubbery calamari here. (lol) My wife had the cioppino and the kids had the bread bowl. Again, each dish was prepared well. This place is highly recommended! We plan on eating here again in the near future.

As always food and service was great. Today my wife and I was served by a beautiful young lady name Sam ( short for Samantha ) . Her friendliness and politeness was great and make our lunch complete. Love they have outdoor dining and are very dog friendly that way we bring our 220 lb English Mastiff Finley.

First off all. Odie was an amazing waitress. She was so friendly and gave my LO a sticker. She gave the best advice about food and drinks. I was incredibly happy with the service. Secondly. The food was absolutely amazing. The best food my family has had in a long while. I had their linguine Alfredo pasta and it was so delicious. The sauce was the best I've ever had. My husband said the calamari was not chewy and it was the best he has also had. The pizza was cheesy and the burgers were flavorful. The seating was so clean and comfortable. I don't post yelp reviews often, but I was impressed with them being child friendly. The amazing service and the amazing food. 100% will come back.

There are great restaurants but Abalonetti is next level up. Staff is very welcoming and willing to make customers' experience something to remember. We were a group of nine, one more than booked, some arrived early, others later, and asked for table outside when they had laid one inside. No problem, they made sure we were all comfortable and quickly tended for. Drinks came quickly and food was delicious. The nine drank and ate (lunch) for little over three hundred bucks.

Atmosphere was cozy. We sat outside & there's patio heaters in case it gets too cold. My wife had the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Clam chowder was awesome. Seemed like a very large bread bowl. She couldn't finish it. I had the captains platter, fried rock cod, jumbo shrimp & calamari with fries. Everything was crispy & delicious. Came with tarter & cocktail sauce which tasted homemade.

We have eaten here a couple of times and keep coming back when we visit Old Fisherman’s Wharf. There are many restaurants to choose from while walking in the pier but it is the atmosphere and prices that keep us coming back. They are child AND dog friendly. I love their spacious seating and the view from their outdoor area. The food is delicious and consistently fresh. It is exactly the type of food I come to the coast to eat.

The fried calamari was good! It won best calamari in Monterey 18 times. My wife got a steak, cooked perfectly. I got the calamari steak and it was delicious. Didn't get any pictures of the food, wanted to just dive in!!!

We had calamari c/w fries and fish and chips. Great choices and prices with happy hour drinks. Waitress went extra mile splitting ample salad on seperate plates. Great harbour side views.

Very good food and friendly staff. One thing I didn't understand was that it was in the fifties, cloudy and windy and they had all the doors open and crazy people were sitting outside. So basically it was open air and it was freezing! I would've enjoyed everything more if it was a comfortable temperature in the dining room.

The food was delicious and they were very good about a gluten allergy in my party! Came back twice in one day for lunch and dinner!

I am going to gush about this place, fair warning! Hands down the best calamari we have ever had... even the grandkids will eat it. The wait staff are funny engaging and happy. We ate there twice in 2 days...

We had the calamari appetizer and it was the most delicious calamari ever. It melted in your mouth like butter. If I would have known it was going to be so good I would have had the calamari steak too. The rock fish was amazing though.

Had to wait ~20-30 minutes to be seated indoor bc it was super windy Service: Kinda slow bc it was so busy but our waitress was definitely as kind and attentive as she could Food: The lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious! Had almost everyone at our table digging into it, would get it again. Great textures but the creamy pesto sauce was the star of the dish! Only thing I didn’t enjoy was that the prawns were too salty The crab and Angel hair pasta was a miss. Didn’t enjoy the almost broth-like white wine sauce. Idk why I was expecting more of a cream sauce with wine? But way too liquid soupy for what I like for my pastas Not in pictures: the 2 kids got the corn dog and burgers with fries. They enjoyed it and the fries were good( slightly crunchy but soft) Fairly good portion sizes for the price Presentation: beautiful presentation for all the food Cleanliness: everything seemed clean and I like that the tables are fairly spread out. Didn’t use their restroom so cannot comment on that Overall, good experience. Glad we happen to choose this place to eat on the wharf!
