After being left on hold for 28:17, listening to them take other walk in orders. They finally came to the phone! When they did, I expressed my frustration and asked if they could handle one more order? They hung up on me! The food is decent, not awesome! The prices are well above median. Expect to pay more that $60.00 for take out for a family of 3. The service is obviously lacking now. I WAS a patron when they opened, but with their sky high prices, and obvious lack of customer service. I will be bringing my money to Maria's kitchen in Howard lake from now on! They have excellent food, quick polite service, and reasonable pricing! Totally worth the drive, and they actually appreciate your business!

We were there for the first time today. Very delicious. Lots of menu items. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, even the kids! Queso was pretty good. Small location which we enjoyed as it seemed more authentic then the huge restaurants. But a slightly bigger outdoor seating area. Staff was great! Pollo Chipotle was great, just enough spice for a white guy. 32oz over-the-top margarita on the rocks was huge! So good!

We really enjoy this place - the food and patio are fantastic! We really like the jerry's special burrito (level 7 spice!) and mole. Honestly, we haven't had an item we didn't like.

Jerry runs a spectacular business! The food is always incredible, the drinks are top- notch, and if you've never had a Freakin' Good, you don't know what you're missing! I moved from the area about 5 years ago, but it's my first- choice for restaurants when I'm back in town! Peanut-friendly!

Went to this restaurant with a friend, and ordered a dish I had gotten before and loved. On this occasion we ordered take out, but my friend changed her mind at the last minute and we ate on the patio, not giving the change of plans a minute of thought. My dish tasted like mushrooms with pepper water poured over it. It was horrible. The server came out and saw us, came over and scolded us for staying when we had take out. There was lots of room on the patio. They were not very busy. I was stunned...and we will never go back. Horrible experience.

I am completely baffled by all the great reviews for this restaurant. We recently visited El Molcajete for dine-in, and although the restaurant's interior is kind of cute, that is where the positives end. The food we received was shockingly bland, and had clearly been reheated to death. The steak for the fajitas was gray, tough, and had ZERO flavor. No cilantro, no lime juice, no seasonings, salt, pepper...anything. The rice I received on the side was so over cooked it was unrecognizable as actually being rice as there were no discernable grains. It was just a pile of orange mush. The beef in the tacos was dry and looked like canned dog food and tasted as if it had sat to heat all day long, if not all day yesterday too. And again, very bland. The service was lacking as well. Even though our waitress only had 1 other table, we had to flag her down for a refill, and when we asked for our bill, she said "sure", but then never came back. After waiting for quite a while, we eventually had to go up to the counter to ask for it. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one.

After being recommended by 3 people, I really wanted to like this place. Pros: fresh produce (although sides of fresh lime and cilantro and some red onion on the salad would've been nice), chicken was not dry, mild salsa tasted good. Cons: horchata was the worst I've ever had, waiter disappeared, had to pay bill at register, and stuff was all very mild.

Finally a place that delivers out here besides Dominos! They were quick and on time, the delivery driver was very nice and made sure to wave and say hi and smile at my one year old, and the food was good too!! Portions are very large it hardly looks like we touched our food. Overall very impressed will definitely order again!

Awesome food. Awesome service!! This small family owned business in Delano really shows its pride with serving very authentic Mexican food. Nice patio area in the summer. You may be surprised by the size of the place but you will be won over immediately. We eat here almost once a week. Very cleanly. Like I said the food and service there is unbeatable! Way to go for bringing such a great restaurant to Delano!!

OK - this place is a combination Chinese restaurant and American restaurant located in a small strip mall in Delano. They offer a full menu as would be expected at a Chinese takeout place and a full menu as would be expected at a small town American diner. With that range of menu items, it should not have been a surprise that the dishes that my party ordered off the lunch menu were not outstanding. There was no discernable spice to the schezuan dishes. The egg rolls and cream cheese wontons appeared to be reheated frozen foods. Regarding the service that I experienced, the restaurant was not busy and still there was never any check-in on the food or the drinks. Usually I find a warm and inviting atmosphere in small town restaurants - this place just felt indifferent.

I just ordered the spiciest burrito on their menu, a Jerry’s special at level 10. I have been searching for years for spice that can rival my resistance, and I’ve finally found it here. A must try for hard core spicy food lovers.

Get the fajita quesadilla and you will not be disappointed it’s amazing! Also the peeps are so nice and pretty speedy! Love them!

Prices are on point. The dishes that were ordered were delicious. Staff is very friendly. Establishment is very clean. Highly recommend for take out or sit in for a meal or two.

The food was delicious, including the complimentary chips and salsa. The service was phenomenal! They seated us quickly, wiping down a table as soon as someone else left so we could sit and when I forgot my leftovers inside, they ran them out to my car.

Edie Mae's has the BEST STUFFED HASH BROWNS this side of the moon. Not always the friendliest staff, but the food is well worth it. From Chinese to French toast, I think even Apple Pie! Don't miss the $5 cheeseburger basket!

Nice clean restaurant, every friendly employees, I like it here because they speak two languages. Its peaceful here. The food is amazing. But I wish they would put pictures of Mexico in the restaurant, I like the paintings they have because they also tell a story of each painting.

The food was delicious and was authentic Mexican cuisine. The reason for the 4 and not 5 was customer service. We stood in the entrance for a few minutes with staff nearby and didn't get a welcome, or at least a we'll be right with you. Also had to flag waiter down for a refill.

Always been a great spot for Mexican food but was always pretty small & tight typically with a wait due to lack of seating. We just went here again last night and they had expanded into a large piece of the same building and remodeled - it is now very colorful and much bigger, all-around GREAT! It did seem that they may have been lacking with staff (who isn't right now!) but we had a wonderful experience with the same amazing food. I highly recommend you check out the new space!! 🌮🇲🇽😁

The food was amazing. Probably one of the best authentic Mexican foods that I have had in a very very long time. If you are ever passing by Waverly or Delano Minnesota this is definitely the place to go. The guy at the register was a little too quiet and we could not hear him and they didn't come and check on us after they gave us the food. But the atmosphere was authentic. There was Mexican music playing in the background and the inside had Mexican writing on the wall. It was very cute and the menu is a digital monitor on the wall and it is big enough to read. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the guy did not come and check on us to see if we needed anything.

Best Mexican food in Minnesota hands down without question. Unlimited salsa and chips for free, food so good you can’t stop eating it even if you’re full, family owned. A real hidden gem.

Our waitress was rude when we where ordering and brought the wrong good. La michelada came with no ice they where warm. The molcajete salad is small AF and chicken had no flavor and the garlic bread was all soggy🤮place had no AC and it was really dark hard to see and read menu. Never coming back

This is not authentic at all, nor the greatest. I've had bones in my general tso the last 3 times. In my area it's the only Chinese place really to go. It just tastes like reheated food.

My new favorite place for wings! The buffalo wings were authentic and phenomenal, but I gotta say, those raspberry wings were the favorite. Sweet, tangy, with a hint of heat. Unique and delicious!! My 3 year old ate 3, leaving nothing but the bone.... lol next time I'll need at least 2 orders for our family! El Molcajete has the best authentic Mexican food with friendly, genuine staff. You can tell that every plate is made with love and care. We've been on a hunt for a while and finally found our go-to place. :) For our family of 5, we ordered the fajitas quesadillas, pollo al chipotle, fajitas combinadas, chicken tacos, and Jerry's spicy salsa. All delicious!

Great breakfast

I have not had any American food, burgers, breakfast etc. I stopped in for a lunch of Asian food. I ordered hot and spicy chicken, it should have been call sweet and mild chicken. It had zero heat to it and it had a sweet chilli sauce that was something I never would have ordered. Awful! The fried rice tasted old like it was already fried, refrigerated and either warmed in a pan or microwaved. The egg roll was nothing special but ok. No sauces were offered for the egg roll and I asked for mustard sauce that came from the fridge and was like paste. I asked for chilli oil to spice up the sweet chicken dish and that didn't help to offset the over powering sweetness. I also ordered the fried dumplings that were ok and for, I think, 5 bucks was a good deal when you got 10 total. I ate the dumpings and the egg roll and left the rest. If all you want to do is fill your gut with food and you don't care about quality, it's a cheap place to eat.
