Our whole family started taking classes at this taekwondo school about two months ago. The masters and teachers are very friendly and welcoming. If you are thinking about starting martial arts I would definitely recommend this place. You’ll get great exercise too!

Grand master Lee and his staff are really professional and at the same time friendly with kids, it shows up in their work that they love what they do, each and every one of the instructors. We have tried the trial period with another school prior to this one and we are glad that we choose Grandmaster lee's as our choice. My son started his Taekwondo classes when he was in Kindergarten and now after 15 months graduating this weekend to Brown. I also joined adult classes and love training with Grandmaster Lee, simply put he is the best, I would highly recommend this school and staff to anyone looking to get their kids/themselves into martial arts training.

Training with the best! Our six year old son loves working with the instructors and the class. It is well worth the hour drive we make once to twice a week! As parents we love the flexibility. If we can’t make it to the dojang they also offer zoom classes and that is wonderful because he doesn’t have to miss out. We also receive weekly emails with updates keeping us well informed of any new information. During this pandemic it was important for us to find something for our son to do to keep him active and engaged. In the past 10 months we have seen him gain more confidence, self-discipline, focus and respect for others. Thank you World Taekwondo Academy! Pilsung!

You can start off in the Lil Dragons program at ages 3-5 and then work your way into the youth classes and they also have adult and family classes. Their after-school program is top notch and picks your child up from their school every day. They also have a fun sumer camp to help with your summer child care needs. Can you believe it? If you or your child is interested in competing in sport of Olympic Taekwondo Sparring you have come to the right place. Year after year, the World Taekwondo Academy family of schools has produced some of the top athletes in the country. They are given the opportunity to work with the top Taekwondo Coaches and athletes in the world and have access to training that most schools could only dream of. Grandmaster Lee himself has been a National Team Coach and he has also been an assistant Olympic Coach with a great friend of the program Juan Moreno who is a 3 time Olympian and Olympic coach. I could go on for ever on how the school has changed our lives and as you look around to other students in the program you will quickly see that these students are not just recognized as top Taekwondo athletes they are also very disciplined outside of Taekwondo and it is common place to see these same students as top academic scholars, leaders, and community stewards! Way to go WTA!!

I came here from Pennsylvania and the discipline and professionalism are top notch. On top of that the staff and Grandmaster Lee himself are/were all nationally and internationally experienced which helps me trust the staff a lot more. The growth in my discipline from just being here in the last 2 months has been amazing. I definitely recommend this place to grow your focus and your discipline. Or just to have a great workout!

Grandmaster Lee's World Taekwondo Academy is a great place to start your martial art's journey. Their classes are welcoming to all ages from young children to adults and offer a wide variety of different classes. The instructors and staff are also very friendly and are always willing to help you out with whatever you need.

Simply the best school around, my son has been at the WTA in Maple Grove for more than 7 years and couldn't be more happier with everything and all that the school offers. Grandmaster Lee is one of the best instructors/coaches in the country and the after school care is top notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My three kids, my wife and I all take classes at WTA in Maple Grove. There is not a better staff to work with kids, adults or families. The coaches are all top level, high standards and work to build relationships and meet your goals for why you attend. Grand Master Lee and his wife run a great program not only for Taekwondo but an after school program for kids as well that is exceptional. They build a strong family environment that creates a great environment for all.

My kids have been attending the White Bear Lake WTA center for about 6 months. They love progressing through the belt colors, even when earning these colors is not easy. Staff expects solid performance within the child's age and experience range. I have been very satisfied with our experience.
