👍👍 Nice clean well stocked store. It's a hidden gem. Not to busy. Checking out goes smoothly. Seems to be well staffed. Can't match Bjs , Sam's Club and Costco prices but comes close and no membership fees . Ample parking. For a small market it has great variety of food and items.     Nice clean well stocked store. It's a hidden gem. Not to busy. Checking out goes smoothly. Seems to be well staffed. Can't match Bjs , Sam's Club and Costco prices but comes close and no membership fees . Ample parking. For a small market it has great variety of food and items.

    I love tgis location compared to the other location I have been using that is much closer to home. Everything was stocked, people are friendly, associates were helpful, nice selection.

    Whew wee! The checkout lines were long. Having a true "express lane" for 12 items or less would be greatly appreciated... I had 3. The ladies ahead of me had 30+😮. I am VERY GRATEFUL that cahiers are available to ring items and bag. I've stopped shopping at many places because I do not like using self-checkout for a host of reasons. Got what I needed... Prices were good... Service was quick as could be. Thanks

    The selection is limited but the employees are helpful. Things are a bit pricey, best to go when you know what is on sale.

    This is the second Food Lion that I've visited while here in Delaware. It is clean and bright with friendly cashiers and stock employees. Their prices are a bit high and there is no guarantee that you will find what you need or are looking for. These stores are comparable to Safeway's in Arizona.

    Great job at this location! Especially Deli. Called ahead for special request- 2 lbs Cooper Sharp. 🧀 Cut and packed perfectly for a great sandwich making 🥪 night! Thanks dayshift deli @ New Castle store. Nice customer service which is sometimes a rare thing, lately. Thanks again! 🧀

    I want to thank the man working at Food Lion's produce section around 10:00 a.m. this morning, Aug. 12, 2023 for going above and beyond with my product search. He helped me find my Dill but it was the only one left on the shelf. The employee said that fresh herbs were just delivered. While I was checking out, he found me and handed me a fresh package of Dill. Thank you for your assistance and being so kind.

    All the fruit products are bad, not good, nothing is fresh there, you going on an early Sunday morning for a fresh box of strawberries and all you get is bad fruit. Grapes are bad…same stuff over the counter…I don’t know how “we” as people still going to this store. Nothing is fresh!! They don’t rotate the out of date fruits….I literally went in there for fresh fruits and I was gone! It took me more time to walk into the store that stay in the store….sad!!!!

    This has been my favorite store since it moved into the area. Produce and meats are always fresh. Best thing of all is that it is in my back yard.

    This store is 5 minutes away from where I live. Love it because it's close and convenient and the people are great. Go shopping here all the time.

    Bought two nectarines, was charged for 1.5lbs! Got home and weighed them - they were just over 0.5lbs!! Also, two coffee creamers which were on sale for $7 for two - was charged $8.39 - watch the screen at checkout or they’ll cheat you. Salad greens were already decaying when taken out of the container! NEVER going back!!

    I like shopping here, but they need to work on their instacart o rders. I have done this three times. They inform me the order is ready but i wait in my car for 15 minutes. Actually one time they never picked up the phone, so i had to go in.What's the point of doing the instacart. Smh.

    I applied for a position at Food Lion I received the position at Food Lion went online I got my offer to come work for them was really excited when I got there I had forgot my password when I filled out the application at home Blake told me that he would have to have HR reset my password well long story short HR did reset it it didn't work very frustrating needless to say HR like I told Blake is shaky at best I did not take the job it was just too much and too frustrating to go through all that trauma with getting a password reset.

    I asked employee if I could check out I said I only have one thing she got rude and said no. So then the other employee and manager asked in a smart way do you want to be checked out at customer service I said no I'm ok she got rude again saying I'm not talking to you it's the lady behind you. She decided then to take the lady behind me. I just don't understand she wasn't even busy

    Horrible customer service. I was in line and had my groceries already on the conveyor belt. The person in front of me was returning an item and I was told to go into another lane. The woman returning the item even offered to let him take me ahead of her but he said no. I went to go into another lane after putting all my items back in my cart but 2 people got in that lane before me. I tried to go back in the Elaine I was originally in and there were two people ahead of me. I told the gentleman that now I could not check out because there were people ahead of me and I was going to be backed up behind people with full cards when I only had a few things to purchase. He said okay. So that put my cart away. I called to complain and got the same gentleman. Who stated he would have checked me out but I just left my cart in the aisle. And by the time I put my cart back he was checking out the person who jumped in the line he ordered me out of. I'm wondering if this young man would have treated me differently if I were not a 61-year-old woman. The disrespect he showed for an elderly woman was unacceptable.

    Great store. They carry a huge variety of groceries for special d iet restrictions. Whether gluten free, dairy free ect. Most (not all) employees are very helpful if your struggling to locate specific items as well.

    I got dropped off at the door because of my handicap, I walked in to find out there was no carts. I asked a young man that was processing online orders, where are all the carts. His reply was out in the parking lot, I asked him do you have someone that could get some carts. His reply was I don’t think they do. Seen this young man before, he isn’t very helpful and certainly doesn’t have good customer service skills. In fact half the employees don’t have good customer service skills. The most unfriendly store around!!!! Management retrain your employees!!!! 😡

    In general, cheaper than acme, shoprite, or Giant. Good Produce. Small dept though, but they restock it during the day, especially for on sale items.

    A good store. They don't have the selection of a superstore, but what they have is good. I think the meats are better than in most places.
