I'm glad I visited this amazing place. It is bigger than it seems. The Packard cars collection is impressive, the cars are extremely beautiful. I lived in Michigan for 8 years and I've seen different types of classic cars but let me tell you, nothing compares to this. I loved the description card of each car has the main events that occurred in that year. That helped me to imagine the whole scenario. The kid's area is marvelous, it has color sheets, crayons, blocks, and car toys. Free street parking. Kids free Adults $10 USD. And worth it!! Highly recommended 👌

We had such a great experience. The cars were beautiful. It was a special first date. Definitely memorable. The cost was $10 a person. They also had a National cash register and a library. Definitely worth the wait to visit.

A great experience for those fans of the Packard brand. Thoughtful arrangements of vehicles and exhibits. The tour is self guided but those accepting admission were very friendly and helpful. We spent about an hour and a half and were able to see everything at a comfortable pace.

After several years of overlooking it, I finally visited this unexpectedly awesome museum! Its impressively curated collection of Packard automobiles were really great to view and read about, and the fact that it's self-guided gives you ample time to educate yourself on the Packard heritage/history at your own pace. Even more surprising was that some of the automobiles are owned by local residents! Admission: - $10.00/adult - $8.00/seniors 65+ - $7.00/ages 7-12

Go to this museum!! You won't regret it! $10 to get in. Students free. Beautiful, clean. You can go through it quick in an hour, or you can take your time and spend 2 or 3. Fantastic, historical gem hidden in plain site in Dayton! Staff is very knowledgeable, and every car has a detailed plackard explaining everything about it, including how much it cost "back in the day" and what that is equivalent to today. There are even personal stories behind many of the cars, about their owners. The building is the original showroom and service station for the Packard dealership. There is an entire library inside too, filled with original manuals, and sales records from the original dealership. All the cars are in operating condition! There is even a venue for the public to rent for events like weddings and parties!

Really fantastic museum that gives the history of the Packard automobile. The staff is very friendly and the automobiles on display are very impressive. Parking can be tricky, but there are a few spots right out front. There is a small area to buy gifts as well.

Great museum for fans of classic cars. It is an interesting view through the development and ultimate end of one of early America's biggest automobile manufacturers. Many examples in pristine condition illustrate advancement in the cars from the company.

This is a great place to visit for any old car enthusiast! They have a really nice collection of pre-and post war Packards. Take your time, read the details on the signs, take pictures and imagine what it would've been like taking delivery of one of the beauties when it was brand new!

It's truly a really cool museum!!! Although online it said $2 entry, and then they wanted $15 which I couldn't afford..... So we looked through the windows 🤦🏼‍♀️

Stopped on a whim. Docent Bob turned one more museum into a really fun and informative visit. Spent about two hours, learned a lot about Packard and the cars on display.

Great place to visit, even if you're not a car-buff. Friendly, informative and you dont have to stay 5 ft from the displays as is the case for many museums. They rotate thier displays, so I'll be back to see what else they have available for our viewing pleasure.

Great place with lots of awesome cars! I have also been to the National Packard Auto museum in Warren Oh and I think I prefer this museum in Dayton better. I really like all the post WWII cars they have at this one.

Visiting Dayton’s “America’s Packard Museum” was an unforgettable experience! The museum houses an incredible collection of cars, offering a deep dive into the remarkable history of a company that’s truly woven into the fabric of American heritage. The building itself is a sight to behold, elegantly preserving the essence of a bygone era, and it’s filled with fascinating memorabilia that bring the stories of these iconic vehicles to life. What made the visit even more special was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and possessed a wealth of knowledge, eager to share the rich history and intricate details of the Packard legacy. Highly recommend for anyone interested in automotive history or looking to experience a unique piece of America’s industrial past.

Super cool collection. But the fact that it is in an original Packard dealership that still has everything in it makes it amazing.

Beautiful collection of vintage Packard autos, all inside of an original Packard dealership. Very representative collection, showcasing cars from a period when their design was high art as much as anything else. Particular highlights are Al Capones personal car, as well as the hearse used in the funeral scene of The Godfather. Made for a nice two hour stop on a guys day out.

I’ve made it my mission to expose this amazing place to folks who have never been. It’s a place of automotive reverence that takes no prisoners. I got hooked in a matter of minutes. Anyone who loves cars, art, engineering, history will be blown away. Make it your mission to attend this gem of a museum.

Had some nice stuff to view. Not very many cars. Expensive considering that I only spent about 45 minutes to see everything.
