The restaurant is the essence of the rustiness of the place of Hauz Khas and directly overlooking on to the lake. The eatery is lined with unfinished brick walls, partially plastered surfaces and dog-tired furniture. But the place brings together all these incongruities into a single charming bistro as the Hauz Khas Social. The vast interior has several levels of dining areas within. But the window-side seat is the most prized spot from where one can see the entire park including the lake. The well-spoken waitrons dress up homogeneously in their army-coloured cargo pants and brown t-shirts. The menu is fashioned in the form of a newspaper supplement and stacked in a jar on every table. The restaurant serves hot drinks and beverages too. Food is also exceptionally good. Their main courses and breakfast menu are exceptional. Their egg dishes are exquisite and it comes in various shapes and sizes. But the prices are a bit above budget, especially the beverage menu. The breakfast orders can run on an average budget. In the end, a meal for two persons would cost between Rs 600-1500, and maybe, even more if hot drinks are ordered additionally. The payment is charge for the added ambience offered along with the food. So spend a good few hours at the place while sulking in the beauty of the Hauz Khas area through the window.

Social has wide varieties of food and liquor, good ambience, and superb lighting to lift up your mood to the party level. That these do not help them to earn 5 star rating. Folks, be careful here. They are just thugs. First they ask for a cover charge of 1000 per person which is okay. Food and liquor are unreasonably expensive. But the worst part is is, they add Value Added Tax to the total bill and 25% of GST on liquor where there is no GST on liquor in India. They loot people.

Great spot for a coffee with a view. There are outdoor and indoor seats. Outside they have fans to keep you cool. It looks awesome for a night drink as well with a young and hip crowd.

Very spacious.. much bigger than imagined from it's appearance on the outside. Very beautiful with transparent glass on one side with view of greenery of the deer park. That itself was a view worth it. Fully air-conditioned, very nice ambient lighting, with cozy seating arrangements and clean washrooms. The variety of seating arrangements and the way they were segregated just amazed me. Feels of a cafe, restaurant, meeting area, working zones.. all with proper divisions.. that's something to be experienced. Cool brew, chocolate bloodbath, iced tea.. are the ones we tasted. We ordered the chocolate bloodbath immediately again, it was that good.

It's located in Hauz Khas village. The interiors are rustic and in industrial style with raw finish. There's a bar at the entry and people generally wait here till they get a table. Waiting hours could be long here. They told us it could take 3 -4 hours to get a window side so we opted for a normal one and it took more than an hour to get that. They have some really good options for food. Try their kebabs it's delicious and also pasta. If you manage to get a window table you'll have a really great view of the lake and the greenery around.

I was here at noon with my wife to take some pictures. A beautiful place to visit. A fine contrast of the modern city at the border of ancient ruins. Can be crowded most of the year, but fully worth the visit. Hauz Khas, South Delhi houses a water tank, an Islamic seminary, a mosque, a tomb and pavilions built around an urbanized village with mediaeval history traced to the 13th century of Delhi Sultanate reign.

Hauz Social is one amazing place to be in Delhi. The vibe of the place is amazing coupled with the Amazjng views of the deer Park lake. Everything works fine for the place except for the service inside. The waiters were generally very slow with the service and were always lost or distracted. This happened with not one waiter but with all the three who provided services to me. Leaving that aside, definitely one of the best hangout places in Delhi.

The place was on my must visit list for a long time! When I visited Delhi, I made sure I visited this place. The food and drinks were great, no questions asked. The atmosphere was also good except a few loud customers. The service was excellent. We were seated inside but after requesting the servers we were shifted to a seat overlooking the lake, which was amazing! The only concern I had was the bill had both GST and VAT! Service tax was also levied, but that was okay. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my time here and will visit again.

This place is amazing during winters. It is an open air place with a small room to sit in also. I'm visiting this place since early seventies. This used to be a small place famous for its tea, omelette and tasty toast. Now it is a very successful eatery with professional service and paraphernalia. The food is delicious and hygienic. Prior to Covid there was waiting time for more than half hour. Even now it has a decent foot fall. Overall I loved the place .

What a place, whataa place. Dont think.you are in delhi, its completely a European vibe. Rustic look and ambience. Very nice seatings and crowd. Have separate smoking zones sometimes music get loud but its ok that works.

The food tasted great, The cheese nuggets and burger were the best, The pizza was also good though imo i don't like thin crust over thick. This is the the only place in hkv worthy spending time at. They have a good space,very different and vast seating area,small yet decent dance floor,they also have lake facing dining seats,both indoor and outdoor. I was genuinely impressed with the interior and overall ambiance of this place. The location, right next to Hauz Khas Lake, is lovely. We went around sunset time and the view was awe-inspiring. It's a good spot to chill with friends. The atmosphere is both lively and cozy. We opted for fresh juices, LIIT and loaded nachos, which despite their simplicity, were delicious.

Social is one of the only few places in HKV that I love to visit. The food and drinks menu is vibrant, and every item I have had here hits the mark. You can order anything you want from the menu without any worries. The best thing about this place is the breathtaking lake view that it offers. Only down is that it remains fully occupied most of the times; so one would need to wait almost always.

Amazing place. The food was the highlight of the visit. The fish, chicken and snacks were fantastic. We could stay for as long as we wanted. The place can be friendly or romantic or family oriented. The staff are extremely courteous. Always recommended

The food is amazing and the service is too good. The view is definitely great. The waiting time is 15mins at least but you can always wait by the bar (my suggestion would be to wait by the table in the smoking area with the view.. you're welcome ;)) They levy additional service charge by default which is intimated in advance. Very good place for chilling. Had to go to the airport later so this was a good place for halt if you are travelling from Delhi. The place is huge and it was full even for lunch. Good ambience and good North Indian food. Had ordered Nachos and it was really bad. All the Indian food was definitely good. Punjabi thali had everything and the quantity was also good.

The best thing about this place is the view from the window. Lush green trees, lake water, quacking ducks which obviously you cannot hear 😊...But it adds to the beauty of having sumptuous food in the whole setup surrounded with history. loved their Social shake and mezze platter. Welcome to socials! The most hyped up club at hauz khaas area. Park your car at the Mcd parking for hauz khaas Village. Enter the street of hauz khas Village, take a left from wow momos and you'll arrive at the doorstep of socials. To enter you've got to have a female accompanying you or if you're a bunch of guys looking to get drunk as a skunk I'd suggest trying the "WEEKDAY" and call them up before to book your table (specifically mention that you're a stag group). Get settled on your tables , enjoy a classic indian vibe remixed with a western dj, choose from a variety of boozes , drool over some delicious continental and indian dishes. Remember they're very strict about their age limit and won't serve you alcohol if you're under 25(not even if you're 24 and a half😅). If you're a non vegetarian I'd suggest trying out their wings platter, their momos and their sphagetti. DO NOT ORDER their "lamb burger" - it simply sucks. For vegetarians I'd suggest trying out their soup, sandwich and sphagetti. Each dish is in the range of 400-600 bucks. The staff were polite and friendly. And lastly dance away all your troubles to a dj playing trendy pop and rock music tracks. A seperate area is also available for smoking. This is one of the original Socials. I am visiting this place since HKV first started becoming known as a modern party capital instead of the art-curio village it was and soon after, this restarant was launched. I heard that this resturant has an even older history. I have vistied it many times atleast in it's new form. Social's food is amazing. That's one of the pluses. i love the open-plan layout with a dance floor on the side, and then all the tables looking out at the lake. The nightlife is great. The crowd, at least used to be, great. It was not overtly expensive for a place like this. Soon after, Social shot up and now it's all over the country. It's been some time now since I visited this outlet.

The whole vibe of this place is amazing. We ordered north indian food and it was delicious. I know the pricing of food here is slightly higher than other cafes in Delhi, but believe me the quantity they offer you with that price is worth it..must visit.

Love the place This restaurant is in one of the most popular places in delhi: Hauz Khas Village Auto is the best option for transport (do not come in your own vehicle since there is no parking space at all) So now about the restaurant, The entry is a little off putting but the restaurant itself is one of the most coziest and nicest I have ever seen The walls are made of rock structures (it looks like it's built into a fort) And the food is quite literally delicious The place is very buzzing and full of people Though you might end up in a long queue so I would suggest reserving a table a day or two before Alcohol is also served here, as well as cocktails and spirits I heavily recommend this place to go out with your friends And I must say, you should definitely try out the Pepperoni and Bacon Pizza, It was perfect If you want a light hearted cold drink then i recommend the Strawberry Iced Tea which was extremely tasty The Lemon Iced Tea is also an option you can try, though the drink was a bit too citrus

Ambience and vibes were very great. Even on the Saturday,we got the waiting time of just 20 minutes,so we went upstairs and enjoyed the terrace view followed by the delicious veg kebab platter. The food was way too tasty.

Perhaps one of the best Socials in Hauz Khas 😍. The atmosphere was rather dark but great vibes! There's a terrace seating as well with a great view! The food and beverages are also top class but very expensive. There's also DJ and dancing after 10pm. I recommend the LIIT in alcoholic drinks. They're well made and refreshing, plus they look cool! Be warned! The waiting time is long especially on weekends. I had to wait 30 min to get a small table.

Loved the food and mostly the view over the lake. The place is big with many indoor and outdoor spaces. Most importantly I loved that they have universal plugs hanging down there to use for every table :)

The wait queue is different on ground floors vs the top floor.the food was amazing and delicious - Lucknow biryani, chat, chicken kadai everything was amazing, out of the world. I’m here for all the vibes! This is my 3/4th time here, love the vibe, quirks and drinks. Though Hauz Khas is not as fun as before I like the novelty of visiting one of the first Social’s in the country. If you’re a tourist, do give this place a visit.

Awesome place to hangout with friends with the beautiful view of the deer park and the Hauz Khas lake. The interior is amazing with their unique newspaper style menu, and like every other Social, they have their own theme. Food is exceptionally delicious and so are the breverages. First time Hauz Khas, love the social place. Been to other social but this one is nothing to beat. Just the vibe and the crowd. Food is amazing and very cost effective. Please try the biriyani especially! The starter pepper chicken could be better.. wasn't spicy at all. Crispy corn also exceptional. Be it the interior, food, crowd, serving time everything loved it.

Beautiful place to go. I really like the sitting arrangement. You can sit wherever you want. Social is one of the best cafe in hauz khas. I like the serving style. Every item is served in a very unique manner which makes food more delicious. My experience is wonderful with social.

Once a party hub of delhi, its now have been taken over by over greediness of the rowdy villagers (especially in this pandemic) who rule that place. Right from parking goons charging flat 180 rs minimum for parking without giving any slip and fighting with vehicle owners if quetsioned to all the restaurant staff there who are always on street bugging you right in your a** till you agree to step in their restaurant. Avoid at all cost if you are a girl or going with one there.
