The food here is incredible and I think people should try it out. It is a bit expensive compared to food you are going to eat elsewhere in India, but it is a perfectly acceptable place to splurge. The service is pretty good too.

Food was definitely above par. Tandoori platter is a must-try. Butter chicken has an extra zing of flavour to it which makes it stand apart from competition two doors away. Try garlic naan it was really good. Overall great experience. Challenge: Try reaching before 7:30pm on weekdays or be ready to sit-n-wait in a long queue. Weekends are quite dense with foodies all around trying to get in.

This place is one of the most popular and hyped restaurant in the city. The place has good Indian food and a decent variety but it feels very conventional at times, which can be both good and bad depending on what you are looking for. I won't recommend this place to anyone who's travelling a pretty distance just to eat here, you can literally get this kind of service and food at any fine dine near you.

It is a casual fine dining restaurant. It is quite elegant and a great place to visit with family and friends. It has a nice ambience and gives a cozy vibe with lively atmosphere. It has got some upmarket feel to it. The food was so good, especially the 'Butter Chicken' (its a must try). No complaints with the quality and the quantity of the food. It usually has a 30- 40 minutes waiting on Sundays and holidays.

Amazing, as always. They have queues and an hour waiting but that is justified! What brilliant taste and generous portions. Everything is extremely well cooked. Very highly recommended!

Top restaurant. We’re not from here, but Delhi-native friends now living in Europe recommended it. The butter chicken, shahi nawabi murgh kebab, and chaat were outstanding. The olive naan was a unique delight we hadn’t tried before, and it was excellent.

Our local guide recommended this restaurant for lunch of which we were not aware that this was an institution. Opened as a small road side outlet now after six decades a fully restaurant that is known internationally. The inside is nicely done and was busy when we went for lunch. But the staff was quick in adjusting our party of seven. The staff also made sure that the dishes that we requested were either vegan or adjusted it a bit to make them vegan. The chaap plater-chaap (some vegan) made so succulent and amazingly spiced. Not spicy hot but extremely flavourful. Diwani Handi was OK. The vegan spinach gravy with mixed vegetables. A bit more spice would have been nicer. The Mushroom Kheema Masala - perfectly made and spiced. I could eat this everyday. For mushroom lovers like us, this was amazing. Dal Makhani - although I couldn’t have it, one taste everyone just grabbed whatever they could and we had to order one more! Everyone thinks this is the best they have ever had. The Roomali Roti and Garlic naan were amazing. Special mention for the roomali rotis, worth every penny. Do visit

Gulati restaurant is famous for its butter chicken. This is my favourite place to have butter chicken. Apart from this dish, you may also try Hyderabadi Chicken. Their buffet is reasonably priced. They do not take bookings and serve food on first come first serve basis. This place remains crowded during peak hours and Weekends. Staff is very friendly and courteous.

Food and the vibe is good. Though, I wont agree with the best butter chicken status. Though, it is very good and I loved the taste, but I feel I have tasted better. Havmor is equally good, also, less waiting time there. In the end, waiting 1.5 - 2 hrs is not worth.

A must visit Delhi restaurant. The food was delicious. You can try any of their items and be sure that it'll be good. The chicken main course items are in the Rs. 700-900 range, so a bit on the pricier side for the quantity you get. It's always full during evening/night, so you might have to wait in the queue.

The butter chicken is fabulous. Generally butter chicken is not preffered because of its sweetness but i can assure it is a must try because of its unique taste . The full portion is really priced steeply, the quantity of meat could have been more. However flavours are bang on! If priced a bit lower it would really be value for money. There is enough competition around to get equally good butter chicken at mor affordable prices. Butter chicken 5/5 Mutton Burrah 5/5 outstanding Lacchaha partha 2.5/5 Butter garlic nana 4/5 Cant wait to try briyani Overall 4.5/5

Famous for its Butter Chicken, I actually ended up loving a few other dishes even more. No doubt this is an amazing place for food lovers. This restaurant is one of the best for butter chicken and has received multiple awards for that dish. Overall the service was great too. The atmosphere was Family oriented but I saw a young group in the restaurant too. Happy Eating

Heard so much about Gulati Restaurant. Finally came here. The restaurant is there since 1959. Famous for its non vegetarian food. But as we are veggies, we Ordered veg galouti kebabs, papad pyaaz ki sabzi, dal makhani, garlic naan, rumaali roti and tandoori roti. Paan gulkand mojito and faalse ki shikanji for drinks. This place is mostly crowded but we found a seat today. Nice big place with beautiful interiors. Nice food.

On a Friday night, an early dinner at 8pm at this famous restaurant. Note- Check in at this place for seats without waiting by 8pm otherwise you will have to wait for 30-40 minutes outside. Famous for their chicken and mutton, dined in at this place for Vegetarian delight, PANEER!! Their Dahi ke Kebab and Drinks were just ok. Highly recommend to order main course than digging in at starters. Though False ki Shikanji was definitely a new idea, you can try it as a refreshing change. Would rate it 3 out of 5!! Virgin mojito was flat. Our Paneer Lababdar was rich in texture and flavour. Thick cubes of paneer in good quantity. Can surely fill up 3 to 4 people. Dal makhni was creamy and flavourful. Good quantity yet again. The highlight was “Chilli Garlic Naan”. Loaded with chilli yet not that spicy, strong garlic flavours and buttery!! PERFECT 10/10!! The Tandoori Roti was one piece wonder, Crisp and Thin!! The major highlight is their “staff”. Never met such a friendly and hospitable staff in the entirety. They made the entire experience worth it. Ambience is full family affair. From kids to elders thriving on chicken delights and sharing a good laugh. Amidst covid era, a perfect place to dine in for some happy time and good food. They also have a special lunch buffet package. Do check that out for great offers.

Great and good quality food as well as service although the food taste gas definitely reduced over the years. Been a frequent visitor since over a decade and have seen their transformation is totally amazing. Hopefully they can bring the old taste back, saying so because the muttin biryani during my last visit was sad af. The meat was dry and tasteless although our server took the feedback in great spirit and we got served another one which was definitely an improvement.

Also tried the Tandoori Chicken and I was not at all wrong. The chicken was juicy and devine. In all the food quality lived up to its expectations and name. Will visit soon..

Located pretty near to the India Gate. They’ve got huge sitting space and the whole set-up is like a machine of food and catering. Staffs are courteous, professional and working like a well-oiled machine. Ordered the world famous Butter Chicken & Butter Naan, Kebab Platter & Roomali Roti and Tomato soup. Food tastes best here with well-cooked succulent non-vegetarian delicacies. Never got better Butter Chicken and Kebabs anywhere in the country. I have always been a huge Gulati fan and every visit makes me wonder how generously they are maintaining the supremacy for decades now. Just a small recommendation for the restaurant to work a bit on the ambience, it’s really dim-lit and dull. This place is keeping the bar of Delhi food high across the globe. I don't have enough words to add now. Go and try it. High recommended restaurant in India.

I believe Gulati restaurant at Pandara road market is overhyped. To become the best butter chicken in Delhi there’s strong competition among restaurant owners and they are spoiling the old recipe. The prices are extremely high and the service is good

Restaurant awarded with the Delhi best butter chicken and yes they really serve the best. Each and every delicacy is served with the best of taste and best of service. Seems to be bit over priced but worth the taste. If you are visiting make sure you reach on time as waiting time is too long. Waited for around 1 hour to get in but again it was worth waiting.

Tasty food and excellent service. All the dishes we tried was excellent and we liked the tandoori chicken so much. The staffs are very nice, security from the entrance to all the way out every one id so nice and approachable. We may have to wait on rush hours by register our name and they manage it very well. We went there 2 time on our rush visit to New Delhi since two of my foreign friends like the food and want to go there again.

This is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Delhi and I have been going here since my childhood. As you enter you are warmly greeted by the staff and seated. They have wide options for veg and non veg food served in buffet as well as Al carte. We recently went for their Navratri food festival and was blown away by the variety of Navratri dishes. The quantity is good enough and taste is mind blowing. Service is exceptional specially by Mr Hitender ji, Mr Vinod kumar. Loved the overall experience here and would definitely recommend this place to others.

One of the best in Business!! If you don’t believe me then the waiting line will show you why!! The non veg lovers - Butter chicken is a must try peeps and the mutton Galouti is mouth-watering. Do try the shahi nawabi kebab as well. For Veg lovers - Dal makhni, Tandoori veg platter is a must try. Also, do try paneer tilka and the spiced onion they serve on every table. This was my third visit and Mr. Digen assured high level of service along with his other teammates. Butter chicken has an extra zing of flavour to it which makes it stand apart. Do try the mirchi parantha and garlic naan as these were really good. Overall pretty good experience. The portions are really nice and sufficient worth the wait. Reach as early as you can or be ready to sit-n-wait in a long queue. Weekends are quite dense with foodies all around trying to get in. Sharing some photos and videos. Pandara road is very famous for its restaurants but Gulati restaurant is specially the most famous one out of every famous restaurants here. I had one of the best non- veg dishes here, the food was just outstanding, i have no words to express it. Service here was also quite good, the waiter time and again checked on us and asked. The restaurant took all the safety measures for covid very seriously. Just the food prices were a little bit higher that's the only thing which disappointed me rest the restaurant was just amazing.

Oh! What a fabulous experience we had. Mind you am writing about the Gulati's restaurant ex Pandara Road. Within that quadrangle is also one - Veh Gulati, bang opposite!!! Simple decent interiors with comfortable seating (has a wall side cushioned seats) with a plethora of awards decorating the largest wall. Foor is typical northern Indian with real Punjabi finish. The dishes are unique and quite signature with a presentation to swoon over.!! Shahi Nawabi murg and neza kebab in small eats is simply delicious and mouth watering. The naans (we had ajwaini, garlic and makhani) are soft and melts in the mouth. The dal makhani is oh! So yummy! In the mains - murgh malai methi is superb and leaves a lingering taste on the taste buds. The staff is courteous and do help in choosing the menu. It's real value for money and a place worthy of a visit , again and again. With family and friends . To really gorge on the delectable cuisine one should go with a starving tummy, to do real justice . Certainly a restaurant to be ticked - soon.

Gulati Restaurant is a must visit when strolling around Khan Market with family or friends. We went there to try out their speciality which was recently awarded as "The Best Butter Chicken" in Delhi along with many other delicacies. In starters, we had 🔸Shahi Veg Platter, which included Veg Seekh Kebab, Paneer Tikka, Dahi ke Kebab and Tandoori Aloo. My favourite was Paneer Tikka 🔸Chicken Neza Kebab, what an amazing presentation.the way it was presented was so innovative. It was very delicious and flavourful. For drinks, we ordered 🔸 Phalse ki Shikanji, Masala Virgin Mojito and Mangoberry Twist, very refreshing drinks. In the main course, we had 🔸Butter Chicken, well it was the best butter chicken I've ever had. So delicious and so creamy. With the Crispy Naan, it sure was the best combination. 🔸Mutton Biryani, it was presented in the hot pot and served really beautifully. It looked beautiful and was really tasted with their special Raita and Saalan. Don't forget the best part, the dessert 🔸Gulati's Special Dessert Platter, beautifully presented Fruit Cream, Gulaab Jamun and Mung Dal Halwa. I loved the way it was presented, all the dessert items were so YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Recommended : 100%

Butter Chicken was one of the best I've had so far. Chicken pieces were tender, the creamy gravy was full of aroma and created a symphony of flavours in mouth. A must try if you're a fan of Indian cuisine. Naan and Roti were mediocre at best and overpriced.

Very nice, compact and cosy restaurant, small tables but very famous and delicious items on it to enjoy. Had tried dahi ke kabab, paneer lababdar, dal makhni, chur chur naan, mix veg. Except dal makhani and chur chur naan, every other dish was excellent. Chur chur naan never expected potato filling and dal makhni was not cooked, I feel we came very early in the morning that could be the reason for same. Overall experience is excellent.

Visited recently to this restaurant located at pandara road which serves the best northindian food and starters too. We started with malai paneer tikka, dahi kebabs which were so soft and the texture was perfectly smooth. In drinks i loved their blue lagoon and masala soda . Then we ordered mains. Tried their dal makhni and paneer makhni which i loved. Had them with their garlic naan! ❤️ It's a family restaurant. You are going to love the food there. The quantity is great as well as the quality. Ended with their Gulabjamun and gajar ka halwa which was my fav part.

Overall experience was very amazing! But other than that, I enjoyed my time here. Excellent place to have family dinner. Ambiance was good. They had all the social distancing protocols nailed down. Taste of Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken was absolutely amazing! The flesh of chicken was also juicy and soft. My family also, really enjoyed the food. The speed of service could have been slightly better. Staff was very polite and helpful. The pricing was also very reasonable. Not too expensive, considering the amazing quality. We came here after so many years, and this place still remains one of the best right now. Especially in Delhi/NCR.

Gulati restaurant is simply the best restaurant in pandara road, they have maintained their quality for over a decade now. Any dish you order is pretty much made out of perfection. Things simply don't go wrong. In my opinion their best dish is Kashmiri kabab. Their preparations are generally quite light on stomach but sort of expensive. Tbh perfection usually comes for a price. Their services are quite good but reservations might be hard to get on weekends if you go after 8 PM so I reckon reservation before 6pm on weekends. Overall it's a truly amazing restaurant & 100% value for money.

great place, great staff, a little expensive, but worth spending money. We went in evening just before dinner time so we did not have to wait for the table otherwise waiting period is huge for this restaurant. Also, parking is also an issue, nothing to do with this restaurant but something to do with Pandara market. I'd suggest reach this place by at most by 07:30 pm so that you do not face any issue for spending a good time with your family.

Kudos for maintaining your taste, service and hospitality same since years. I have been visiting the Pandara road outlet for close to 20 years now and still look forward to the visit every time. If anyone has to enjoy food in Delhi a visit to Gulati is a must. Easily the most delicious butter chicken I have ever had in my life. Nothing comes close to the creaminess of the gravy and the tenderness of the tenderness of the chicken at Gulati. Service was top-notch and only added to the experience. A must-go to any butter chicken lover or food lover in general. I would also recommend their butter naan as it was delicious.

This restaurant sets itself apart with service that rivals that of 5-star hotels. Beyond the exquisite food, it's the attention to detail and genuine hospitality of the staff that truly shines. From the moment you step in, you're treated with professionalism, making every guest feel special. While the prices may be higher, the level of service justifies the cost, making it a worthwhile indulgence for anyone seeking an memorable experience. I highly recommend giving it a try to fully appreciate the experience.

Place has been around for many years and quiet popular with tourists. Lots of menu options which are completely vegetarian. Food tasted quiet average and the decor and ambience are nice. Menu prices are way above average restaurants in India. Staff will often trick you into saying credit card machines not working for the sake of getting tips in cash :)

The original restaurant right next door, the veg counterpart opened in the recent past to cater the veg aficionados. We had forgot to book a table before reaching the place, hence had to wait around an hour and half before we got one, also the fact that we were 6 people and there are only 3 family tables here. We got placed around 10.30pm and we ordered paneer lababdar, dal makhani, diwani handi, veg Biryani and assorted breads. As the legacy of the name speaks, the taste was absolutely amazing for each one of them, personally I loved the paneer lababdar and my family loved diwani handi and veg Biryani, every platter on the table was wiped off and that itself speaks about the taste. It was such a pleasurable experience, except the fact we had to wait fairly long but amazing experience. Parking would be an issue on weekends, but we went on weekday, so it was not that bad.

Their food is probably the best overall in Delhi. Haven't tasted anything average here. It's either really good or the best you've eaten in your life. Dine in with family is totally recommended over other options. But due to covid, I tried home delivery through their website - gulatirestaurant.co. I ordered my favorite items - Butter chicken, butter nan, mutton galouti, roomali roti and they were perfect!! Their Missi masala roti is also tasty if you're into that. Another item recommended (which I have had many times before) is Mutton Burrah Akbari

For me, going out means having only non-vegetarian food and I go out a lot. I am a foodie and spot a good place when I see it. Gulati was surely one of those. The food was amazing, specially the Galawati kebabs. The sheer tenderness and mouth melting texture was absolutely perfect. It’s a family restaurant and people line up, on the weekends. A but on the expensive side, but quality never comes cheap. Loved the overall experience. Its proximity to India Gate makes it an even better place to go. Definitely coming back.

Biryani at its Best from one and only Gulati Few days ago, I had special Brunch from Gulati Restaurant. That too all the way delivered from Pandara Road Market to my home in Dwarka. We all know how famous Gulati is in Delhi. Gulati has been well known from past many decades to serve best of the North Indian Food in entire Delhi NCR. Infact, Pandara Road Market is known pretty well for covering all the famous restaurants serving best of North Indian food from the time of partition itself. Although every restaurant here is quite good in terms of ambiance, food and service but Gulati outstands every other restaurant here. Or you can say its the only place here with the maximum number of its devotees. Even its been said that before the pandemic time, tourists from all across the places used to book half the restaurant for lunch. Sounds amazing, isn't it?? Gulati started with Dine In service, but now in this pandemic time they have started their delivery service that too all across Delhi NCR. No such limits in radius for delivering the dish, you see. Also, the delivery service is pretty quick, so no need to worry about the food received being hot or not. Now what can be better than to have such delicious food from Gulati that too with your loved ones in your own home? The menu is huge with variety of options to choose from. The menu is designed pretty well with definitely all North Indian dishes covered. I heard their Butter Chicken and Ghost Achari are very famous, but I also wanted to try out their Biryani. So had to order everything obviously. The price is definitely reasonable and totally worth of each and every single penny. I had their: 1. Paneer Hyderabadi 2. Matar mushroom 3. Hyderabadi Dumpukht Biryani 4. Murgh Makhani (Butter Chicken) 5. Paratha 6. Missi Masala Roti 7. Ghost Achari 8. Fruit Cream. Quite a number, isn't it? Totally a delectable feast for me. The best part, I loved was their Hyderabadi Dumpukht Mutton Biryani, which was so heavenly in taste, that I believe everyone in Delhi NCR should try. Each and every dish is prepared so well with proper blending of spices and cooked so properly which I can't express in my words. Mutton is one of the dishes which needs a hell lot of patience to get prepared. That Mutton Biryani is worth to mention here. Never had such taste of mutton before. Infact each and every dish here is worth to mention. Totally loved the taste. Highly highly highly recommended. They are taking proper care of hygiene standards as well. The packaging of food was done very nicely. So don't just wait, and order your favourite food from Gulati.

Food was decent and service was prompt. There are two outlets side by side presumably run by the same establishment. Gulati and Veg Gulati. We went to Veg Gulati. It was very cramped inside and I got a bit worried when it came to social distancing. They however did give disposable cutlery to every table and the staff was wearing masks and gloves. The food seemed overpriced to me but perhaps I am not the clientele that frequents this establishment and the similar ones in the vicinity.

This place is very known and famous for its delicacies in Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken. I tried their Butter chicken and it was epic. The gravy was rich and creamy. The chicken pieces were soft and fresh. I really liked the same. Also, I loved the Biryani. It was very fresh and flavourful. Paneer butter masala, paneer tikka and malai kofta were also really nice. The Dessert were very tasty. The staff and management of this place is very nice. One of the best staff I've ever witnessed.I had a great time over there

Food quality is really low.. I ordered mashroom to pyaza and garlic nanpp. Mushroom to pyaza was really flat in taste and Nan seems like to be made up of Garlic itself. Caretakers were very polite but food quality is not so good and hyped only. 3 rating is only because of bad food..

Butter chicken = Gulati . [period]. Only con is the long waiting time to have the dine-in experience. If you also face the same situation, then you could use their take-away service. Their packaging is excellent and will keep the food warm for a very long time. Even after travelling back to Gurgaon, we could enjoy the warm food.

Go East or West, Gulati's Butter Chicken is the best. Its been almost 12 years that I have been visiting Gulati Pandara road and eating the same dishes everytime I visit and still not bored of them (have tasted other dishes from the menu), yes, thats how much I love their food. The staff is very courteous, food is brilliant. Not to miss N.veg dishes :- Main course - Butter chicken (definitely better than their neighbours) & Bhuna Ghosht ! Starters - Burrah Akbari (Mutton) , Neza Kebab (Chicken) Special mention to Mr GOVIND who always ensures that the services be top notch and we have a great experience, lovely fellow with positive vibes n smiling face.

I am writing my review here intentionally because yesterday I had not a time there. I am a regular visiter there and this time I booked table for 15 guest for birthday celebration. I booked a table on prior reservation. Once I reached at the place they were not allowing me to enter inside and asking me to we can only allow once all guests will arrive. I asked them that I have with me olders and they can't stay outside, but they were very rude and they were telling me a lie that they are arranging the table. I don't like their attitude this time.

There is always a waiting queue outside this restaurant but once we entered, we saw how the staff sanitized each and every chair on that table we were assigned, which was impressive. We ordered our usual here, butter chicken and roghan josh, and it didn't miss the mark. The staff were nice and the service impeccable. Still maintaining the quality after so many years.

Visited Gulati after a really long time & tried their buffet. It had over 25+ dishes, including soups, salad, main course & dessert. I absolutely loved their main course dishes, especially their star dish Butter chicken. The methi malai was something that I had for the very first time and it tasted really amazing. They also served the breads on table, I had the garlic naan and it's seriously the best one yet. The flavours of garlic made my meal more scrumptious. In desserts, I loved the fruit cream, it was super rich & loaded with variety of fruits. I was so happy to see Moong dal halwa in the dessert section, as it's my all time favourite. Overall, I had an amazing meal. This place is definitely worth every penny.

Veg Gulati is worth to visit. Delicious tasty food, hiegine , reasonable cost. Rail museum is not planned to handle weekend rush. Only one man issuing tickets and that too slowly. Government can earn handsome revenue if handed over to private vendors. Ticket should be booked online or entry through smart cards. Poor management.

I visited this restaurant in the month of July in 2021 and I must say the taste is so so good that you'll miss the food when you'll reach your home. I agree that the price range for some of the items are high... accordingly to the quantity you get but I must say the the quantity is decent if you are confused about this. I was about to order some non-veg because of it's speciality but suddenly iy striked that savan was going on. I ordered Dahi kebab (INR 600) Dal Makhani ( INR 600) Hyderabadi Paneer (INR 600) and butter naan and butter roti. All the items were delicious and prepared upto the mark...must visit once. 😋

I had come to this restaurant few years ago. Now that I was in delhi for sometime I wanted to come here. Thankfully it didn’t disappoint. Butter chicken was exactly I use to remember. Combination of butter chicken and rumali roti is better than with butter nan. The staffs were very cool and made us comfortable and let us enjoy our food to fullest.

Gulati Restaurant has been around for years as this iconic Butter Chicken Restaurant at the heart of Delhi, close to India gate. We went on a weekday so there was no waiting. We ordered a Palak Patta Chaat, Butter Paneer, Palak Kofta among other things. They absolutely nailed the taste of a perfect North Indian meal. Every bite brought along the flavors that you would imagine with an utterly delicious north Indian meal. The experience and ambience was great too, the service was quick and all in all, a must visit restaurant that we would definitely revisit on a quiet and lovely winter afternoon.

Have been enjoying food at this one place since my childhood.. all the year round and specially during the navratras.. yet went to this place after a long gap of good 3 or 4 years.. nostalgic memories for good food. We enjoyed our starters here.. palak patta chaat was amazing, dahi kebab was just too good - melting in mouth and even mutton galouti was too good. But main course I felt lacked that perfect taste. My favourite dal makhni and paneer makhni .. both were bland, yet chicken lababdaar was still OK. Mirchi parantha was also perfect. Yet we were happy to visit the place after such a long time.

We visited for lunch, and ordered an array of dishes, including Gulati's two signature dishes, dal makhni and butter chicken. We also ordered a masala fish curry, various rotis and naans, and a palak patta chaat. The palak patta chaat was delicious, but the rest was pretty average. The butter chicken and dal makhni were good, but nothing exceptional - I could not tell the difference between this and the counterparts served at other well-known North Indian restaurants in Delhi. The masala fish, however, was just too overspiced for my liking. Good, but really not living up to all the hype. Service is adequate, nothing great.
