My friend @ I Went there when we're visiting Connaught Place and looking for a good restaurant. the place were nice and interesting decor--taken from an old indian movie. We ordered tangy salad as starters, then followed by lamb dish, biryani rice and butter chicken, food was amazing. I would recommend this place for the food and atmosphere.

m a big fan of eating out in the open and under shaded trees and surrounded by greenery and Sorrentos outdoors eating serves all these requirements. Surrounded by lush well manicured trees and grass and plants, Mother Nature herself makes it so warm and welcoming to be just there.

Nice ambiance with rustic look. Place have beautiful lighting and images all around may give back some memories of 70s. Staff is helpful but not completely informed about dishes (allergic people get confirmed about ingredients directly from chef). Serving is decent but food is very rich. It is high on spices. curries felt like over cooked and you do not get the flavor of the vegetables. Overall decent experience.

The complimentary bread service was excellent. The Halibut was divine and cooked perfectly. Polite and prompt service. The restaurant wasn't crowded and had a very calm ambiance. Delhi has very few good restaurants and this is certainly one of them.

Loved the food and presentation. However, the service time is very long and it took forever for the food to arrive. The service time is my reason for this rating, otherwise, I absolutely loved the flavorful food.

I had lots of expectations from this place but I was really disappointed with food. Food is pretty average, doesn't go with such a premium place. Ambiance is great, low light, party space available, good place to have quality time with family or date.

Although it's a new entrant to the dining scene in Connaught Place, Mother India's evocative nostalgic decor will transport you back in time. It's fitting, as the restaurant has the same name as a 1957 Bollywood movie. The extensive menu consists of more than 150 dishes from across the country. The kebabs are popular here. However, ideally be adventurous and try some of the lesser-known specialty dishes such as grilled river fish marinated with raja mirchi from Nagaland, home-style Mandi chicken curry from Himachal Pradesh, or mutton (goat) curry from Odisha. There's live music on the weekends. Need to get some work done? The upstairs portion of the restaurant is a dedicated co-working space during the week.

Yummy food

Inside Shangri-La hotel is this upscale Italian restaurant. We are told they outsource their ingredients from Italy. While I will give five star for ambiance and service (to mention name of Mr Vicky, who helped us in making out choices), there was something missing in transparency for rates on water bottles. Food is tasty but portions are small. So I doubt this place will be popular with young generation. The Arancini as starter are really tasty. Vegetarian choices are limited. Live kitchen is visible from all tables. Bread platter starters are very good. Appreciate staff.

The place was fabulous. I was hosting a few people there and the numbers changed last minute. The staff were very helpful and accommodated us. Food was nice and kind of experimental. We had the tasters menu to see what is served on the table. Tasty and contemporary. The wine bottles however was not worth the price.

The place is really nice for dining in with friends or family. I ordered chicken tikka which was hot spicy soft and tender, and veg biryani which was served with curd and was really good! A fabulous place to dine in, and this places true to its name is like mother India with a variety from all the parts of India. All regional food is carefully brought together on the detailed menu and they do keep up with the regional flavours too. I loved the nadru k kebab made with lotus stem. Which is a kashmiri delicacy. The dimsums are not to miss also the yummy dahi ke kebabs. Talking about main course they have marwari South Indian and Kashmiri food. I love the laaal Maas and rogan josh. The paneer lababadar is really nice too. The dal makhani is always an essential. Do not miss the kesar badam kulfi and Gulab Jamun for deserts.

Ambience:- The interior is nicely done with a mix of small and big elements from the Indian film industry. One can easily spot this huge wall art of the legendary Nargis from the movie Mother India. Menu: The menu has been crafted in such a way that it's divided into 4 parts. Each carrying starters and main course from the 4 parts of India i.e North, South, West and East. They offer a wide variety of both veg and non veg dishes. There's also a wide variety of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on offer. Staff: The staff was courteous and responses however lacked enthusiasm. We could spot dull faces around us. Food: We ordered "Aagre ka jal-jeera" and "Almond & Saffron Shake" from the drinks menu and "Chowk ki Gaulti" and "Ghee Roast Chicken" for starters. They offered complimentary "Masala Papad", which is always a nice idea to impress the customers however the Papads were half cooked. The Shake was thick and creamy however too sweet for our liking. The jal jeera was tasteless. Then coming onto Chicken Ghee Roast the description read "Chicken roasted in ghee and tangy spices" however we could only taste the ghee. It lacked the spiciness we expected. Moving on to the Chowk ki Gaulauti, it was so so. Definitely not one would expect from a restaurant rated so well. Overall the ambience and the service was good but the food was pretty average, Average enough to spoil our afernoon.

What a beautiful and pleasant day to appreciate this outstanding coffee shop that I visited earlier. I was astonished by their service and place. It was all tidy and clean. Perhaps, I was touched by the beautiful and handsome crews that showed the curved in their lips as they served me well. For me, everything was perfect. From the good taste of their coffees to the sweetness of their pastries, all that I could say was Wow. I’ll be back soon!

We arrived and were shown to our table by staff who then had to rearrange all the surrounding tables and chairs to accommodate other guests - very noisily dragging them around and we had to ask for drinks again. Definitely unimpressed with the waiter service, however, the manager seemed to realise what was going on and took over the service which rapidly improved. I had the homemade pasta which was exceptionally good, definitely the best I have tasted. Overall experience good, would have been much better if the restaurant had been able to organise the tables before we arrived.

The place had a different feel to it all over. Artfully done with yesteryear paintings and artefacts, the restaurant had a completely different look. With live music playing, the singer was singing some classic melodies along with some contemporary fusions. The food was delicious too, covering delicacies from all the corners of the country. The music though was a little loud, drowning out the conversation and making it difficult to hear the other person speak.

Sorrento is authentic Italian restaurant in shangri la Hotel..Ambiance is just perfect for any occasion... Chef Massimiliank Sperli is perfect host... I loved the recommendation and attention given by staff of restaurant. Service was prompt and perfect... I loved vegetarian pizza , pesto based riasotto and rocket leaf slad..welcome drink of Mango shot was quite refreshing...For me star of star dish was tiramisu ... One of the best I ever had till now..and lastly best collection of wines you can find here... :)

Really beautiful sit-downer in the heart of Delhi. Well arranged wooden decor and excellent music in the background set the mood for an relaxed meal with friends or family. Food is top notch.

The place is nice, the theme they have put togethee in the restaurant is also quite impressing. They once two storey sutting, good place and absolutely a decent one to go with family. They offwr alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages also. Once can tey chilli panner and honey chilli potato, it was quite good, they do accept zomato gold (food ). Yoi can order honey chilli potato, chowmein, chilli paneer dry, all these are good in taste.
