When you run out of options for food, u can always look back at karim and i bet you, you will never be disappointed. Karim has been serving food since more than a century. Its food is no less than magic. Doesn’t matter after how long you eat here, flavour will remain in you memory and on your tongue for long. Mutton barra, mutton nahari, khameeri roti and many such item with lipsmacking flavours to drool upon.

Visiting after several years. Food is still as good as I remember. Karim's is a must visit for us anytime we're in Delhi. Parking is in the back of the Islamic center. Restaurant is very clean. Service is fantastic. Favorites are mutton burra (lamb chops), chicken seekh, dal makhani and rumali roti. We tried chicken Malai tikka, which was also great. It was saucy and not dry, which was unique to us. The Malai Kofta had a little too much cream for our liking. Chicken Biryani was good as well. Tandoori parantha was a little hard. We were told that's how it usually is because it's made from wheat. The khamiri roti, on the other hand, was very soft and delicious.

Lovely ambience...this place has some kind of positive vibes. Food is good, maybe slightly below par with it's counterparts. Overall recommended for a nice family meal. Must try - mutton seekh kebabs for a succulent juicy flavoursome mouthful

This one is really big as compared to other Karim's outlet. New commers find it difficult to find the entrance to this restaurant from the front of IIC on Lodi Road Side. One must de-tour to the back Street of ICC through Max Mueller Road till IIC Annexe Parking area & enter IIC through gate no. 5. Ambience of this restaurent as compared to other outlets of Karim's is far better. Menu has lot more items as compared to other outlets. This outlet had a clientele of foreign diplomats & embassy staff etc. Service is better. No comments about food & it's taste as it is Karim's. Try Mutton Seekh Kebab, Mutton Burra, Mutton Stew, Badam Pasanda, Daal Gosht & Firni in the end.Highly recommended to visit this place with family & friends.

The restaurant's dΓ©cor effortlessly blended contemporary elements with traditional Indian accents, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the exquisite table settings to the interesting artwork adorning the walls. Now, let's talk about the main attraction: the food. The menu presented a wide array of authentic Indian dishes, each expertly crafted with precision and care. From rich curries to flavorful biryanis and tandoori specialties, every dish showcased the diverse flavors and spices of Indian cuisine. Aside from the exceptional cuisine, the staff at karims played an integral role in making our evening memorable. Their attentiveness, knowledge, and willingness to accommodate dietary requirements were commendable. They were keen on ensuring we had a delightful dining experience and readily answered any questions we had about the food. In conclusion, Karim's offers an outstanding dining experience that goes beyond mere sustenance.

Mutton seekh kabab was nice but the quantity jahangir qorma was for 1 person only. Afghani chicken masala was also not good. The most important thing is that roti is just like braed so 2 people can eat 1 roti.

I have been gone to so many Karim's restaurants around the country in almost 7 to 8 states and here is the exp:- 1. Ambience of the place was very decent, 2. Resturant is located in lodhi garden in a high class area 3. Food was not tasty as compare to other Karim's restaurants 4. We have ordered 1 chicken tandoori (8 pcs) + 3 chicken biriyani + 2 chicken jahangiri + 2 naan + 1 butter paneer & 7 mojito and guess the price??? It was Rs.5866 near about 6K including GST. Price was also not an issue It matched with the taste. Butter Paneer was so much creamy that, it tastes sweet. Biriyani was not properly marinated. Over all exp was bad, except the naan...nothing was tasty.

It was a lot of fun, the atmosphere is very good, the food is also very good, all the staff talk very well and the manager Samar does the business very well. We came last night, my family was a little late in coming, but I had ordered and the food arrived in 10 minutes, i felt very vad. But understood the situation and sent the food back to the kitchen and served it after my family arrived, thank you very much Samar !

After a few of my friends and acquaintances suggesting me this particular place to check out, I happened to visit this place on a Monday afternoon just very recently in August 2021 . This would be an independent review since I've never been at Karim's jama masjid. Indian Islamic centre is beautiful and Dilli Dastarkhwan gives you an inviting vibe right from the time you enter that door giving you whimps of the meaty delights in the air you've been used too when you visit any great place. . Closest entry is Gate number 5, when you come inside from the WWF lane. The seating and ambience is good, not very upscale but is very pleasant . We happened to order Murg malai tikka, mutton quorma, mutton nihari, khamiri roti, mutton biryani and shahi tukda to end the meal . I think I came in with alot of expectations but though a pleasant meal didn't give have a wow factor like every Karims is used too. Maybe we are just used to the wonderful street flavours of jama masjid :) This one takes a step back. . Murg malai tikka however is good!! One would need to put a little lemon juice on top for that extra tang!! We sticked with the ordinary menu Will Order other things in the next visit !!! . Good place nevertheless, good for meals and I think I'll go there whenever I get an opportunity again and maybe put a few of my favs from their menu when I have one, good but not outstanding in my humble opinion.

Recently visited Karims situated at India Islamic Cultural Centre at Lodhi Road. This is a clean and uncluttered upmarket (in comparison to othe restaurants of Karims) outlet with simplistic decor. Menu is typically Mughlai cuisine with major bias towards non-vegetarian dishes. What we ordered with my ratings out of 5 points.... Mutton Soup - 1 out of 5 - Flavour less hot salted water with added cream and few pieces of chewy Mutton Mutton Shami Kabab - 4 out of 5 - One of the best in Delhi. Without much of added chana dal and with a prominent texture as well as taste of Mutton Mutton Seekh Kabab - 4 out of 5 - Made with hand made Mutton keema with rough texture. A little too much fat but it's fine for a robust real seekh Kabab. If you like the creamy melt in mouth kakori type Kabab.... tgen this isn't for you Mutton Keema - 5 out of 5 - Absolutely a winner dish. Hand made chunky mutton keema made with TEEN MIRCHI (Three types of chillies).... Black Pepper, Green Chilli and Red Chillies. Flavourful and juicy. Must have. Mutton Nihari - 4 out of 5 - We requested for a small tasting portion and it's absolutely made to the point. Soft mutton and thick flavourful curry. Perfect combination Khamiri Roti - 4 out of 5 - I've had better at other places but this wasn't any less. Phirni - 0 out of 5 - Probably our biggest mistake to order this inedible mix of rice flour and minimalistic sugar.... it had no flavour, no aroma and no taste either. If that wasn't enough.... it had acquired excessive smell from the earthen pot it was served in.... Absolutely Avoidable.

Pros: Mouth watering curries, succulent and fresh meat. Nihari and Shahi Tukda are a must try when visiting. Reasonably priced. Cons: Unavailability of menu items like Pasanda, Sheermal, Gelouti Kebab. Not very pleasing ambience and staff.

Karim's IICC outlet is extremely overrated. The food is mediocre and no qhare close to the rich culinary legacy of authentic Karim's. True disappointment!!

memories of the great Karim's failed a bit with this visit. the sheekh was average, haleem rather disappointing and the ribs smelled of fish. nihari and khameeri roti was the saving grace. service needs to be fixed. if you are open for all day dining, get two sets of personnel to work or tell them to get their act together. unfocused, tired, slow and seemed annoyed that we were there.

The location is quite nice! Sheek Kabab was really good. Mutton Nihari was fine. Being from Hyderabad I found the Biryani to be really weird, could not eat more than two morsels, but that's just me being used to the world's finest biryani's in Hyderabad .

Only good for the nostalgic value. The food is no longer the same as we remember from our childhood, but I guess we keep going back for the taste, perhaps to reclaim a lost era. The kababs and a few curries still hold strong, avoid the desserts. Could do with better table linen and service perhaps.
