A veg and non veg restaurant is there in 1st flour which serves delicious food. Cons - Breakfast spread is limited and all the same everyday. No fresh juice. Until the room number is told, they don’t give the plates to eat.

Very worst experience Me and my family with 2 small kids booked 2 rooms in southern hotel from make my trip when we checked in they are all of sudden change the hotel to southern residency ( budget category) which is totally a different building with different locations and then when I asked to give me actual room I booked they are asking me for difference of ₹800 per room per night so asking me for 3200 then they will shift me to original hotel I booked. This is totally money minded thigh and I left with no other option to stay here as the booking is non refundable. Now they showing me that our main hotel is fully occupied but still if you pay 3200 will give you room. Other things they are giving stay at one hotel and for breakfast I need to go the other building.

The worst hotel I have ever been in. Ants on the floor, half dead and half of them were crawling. They don't tell you booking is in another building until you get there and access to it is so hard as there are auto care shops spread all over the footpath. The customer service of the front office is the worst part of this hotel, rude, incompetent and try to argue when you question about this inconvenience. Tried to upgrade us to "executive" for extra money when complained about the access to the building and extremely dirty rooms, what a shameless business. I really wonder how this sorry excuse for a hotel is still operating as business without being shut down. It should be shut down as soon as possible.

Small room than what is shown in the promotions. Locality is too bad. Highly congested. Heavy vehicles parked in the middle of roads. Literally an open air toilet in front of hotel. Restaurants are not good. No good restaurant nearby. Uber does not come to this area. Not easy to walk up to the metro station.

This hotel has been my only choice whenever I visited Delhi. I have been patron for the last 10+ years. But the hotel's maintenance, attitude of staff and food quality has gone down the drain. I had the worst experience ever during my recent visit. Will never plan for this hotel again. Worn out linen, AC sounding like a generator, Worst complementary breakfast. Rooms very dirty. Very sagy mattress. I guess there is totally no management involvement in the hotel.

All of hotel rooms have very dim lights. Only good for sleeping. So be aware about this before booking. This hotel is located in a very crowded place so car parking in a problem. Also the hotel allocates room in a nearby building instead of main building shown while booking. Rest hotel service is very good and staff are professional. Food is also good. City centre location with all tourist places nearby.

Nice plush room. Centrally heated. There is 24 hours hot water. Good buffet breakfast. Car rental is easy with the neighbouring Southern Travels. Room has a tea/coffee maker. They gave me a free drop to the airport. And they gavee an early check-in at 9am. However they gave me a room in a nearby Hotel Residency. The building is totally rundown and dilapidated. For everything including breakfast, you had to walk all the way to the main hotel, Hotel Southern.

We recently stayed here for two nights and the stay was just okay. Few amenities in the room were not working and they resolved it after requesting thrice which was bad. South Indian food in the Arya Bhavan inside the hotel was not at all upto the mark. There is lot to improve in handling the guest requests. Overall worth it for the price paid in busy Karol Bagh area!

Such a wonderful stay I had, a prime location for my needs, very well maintained rooms, friendly desk support, all of the above food it's exactly what we have in our home, breakfast is ultimate in taste. I will definitely refer this to all our telugu friends. Thanks Southern and management.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to all major attractions and also to the metro stations. It’s a decent hotel in the middle of a very busy and bustling area and not anything fancy. The bathrooms aren’t very great and one of the rooms had issues with the water drainage. There was also a distinct mold like smell in the rooms that wasn’t very pleasant as well.

I stayed here for two days it is very expensive not that worth for the accommodation what they have been provided. Coming to service is fine and maintenance is also good. They provided complimentary breakfast. And it has an advantage which metro station karol bagh is near and they have been provided airport pickup and drop. Coming food service and taste is good and prices are also reasonable. But the location around the hotel is below average and only Ola cabs are accepting the pickup location. Overall my experience is below average.

Beware of this hotel reception staff, particularly the person in the morning shift. Don't know the manner how to talk to customer. I have Dual booking for this hotel on differnt date but due to their attitude..I am canceling my next stay in the hotel.. Hotel name is southern..but they don't know how to treat southern people. I have booked this hotel with over the actual price, but still they forced me to move to another building. So whatever they shows on website and you receive its totally different. Worst experience. Rooms booked to me and my 3 more friends were given to someone else. When we reached at 11pm, Manager informed us that no their is electrical problem and asked us to adjust in 2 rooms in double occupancy. we had heated argument and when we asked again and again he admitted that we have allotted rooms to other ppl. Late night around 1 am 2 rooms were given and other 2 rooms by 2 am. neither their Manager Ravi nor other senior staff came to us while we had checkout

The staff at the reception tried to downgrade our booking service! I pre-booked the hotel from an online app for the main building but after reaching the location the staff informed us to go to the other building beside the main building which is a clear case of mis-selling. We were finally allocated a room in the main building only after some harsh disagreement with the staff at the reception. Though the room was good with all the amenities for the price, I won't recommend the hotel as the first option anymore for the people travelling to Delhi from the southern states because of the exhibition of such malpractice by the staff. They are banking on the name 'southern' but the costly food didn't taste remotely close to the southern food. Normally the hotels are generous with the checkout time by up to 30 or so minutes but the oversmart receptionist again got an earful when he started lecturing us that we had to leave exactly on or before the checkout time. This behaviour is not acceptable by a 3-star hotel which expects business from repeat guests from time to time.

The rooms don't have a window. I did not have lunch or dinner here since the menu is mostly South Indian and the other dishes were not upto the mark. The location of the hotel is in a narrow lane which is full of traffic (no space for parking) If budget is a constraint only then you should visit here or else please avoid. We stayed here for 1 night 22nd Dec 7AM to 23rd 5AM, but booked the room for 2 days from make my trip after having the discussion on call with hotel staff, because early check in is not possible. There is an option in this hotel to check in at 8AM also, but they didnt mention it in our call, hence finally booked for 2 days since check in from makemytrip is from 12 PM. If your are similar situation, try to book directly from hotel and not from online platforms. Also, in the restaurant, when we are sitting for dinner, I observed one person who is asking the people to change the places, mentioning there is a group of people coming. I feel very weird for this. Just a tip: dont book travels from hotel southern travels which is next to main hotel southern, they are just quoting the double prices. For delhi to agra round trip, they quoted 11500 rupees, but we went for 6k from outside travels. I see lot of NRI's just accepting these quotation without any hesitation while i was waiting there. Note: this hotel also has a different building with name hotel southern regency ( annexure building). Please check which room you are booking clearly.

Hotel is good. But Karolbagh has become a garbage bin. You can't step out of the hotel and walk. Roads are fully encroached.

Very big cheaters, I booked this particular building online. To my surprise when I checked in they offered me room behind the colony in Old building. Which they claimed that that's their property only. I had to question them and they gave me the room in same building I booked. Be careful guys, don't trust them at all. Upon finding and showing them their fault they come up with story ....

Booked smoking room n confirmed with their reservations before one day but when reached they told there is no such room. Requested for early check-in, but it turned to be late check-in - it was 30 min late than normal check-in. Waited 2 hrs. Rooms n bathrooms were ugliest - u can easily see the cobwebs n dusts. N offcourse rooms were full of mosquitoes, could not sleep. Drinking water was also not given. Overall worst experience - will never stay not recommend anyone.

Felt uneasy for changing of travel bus coordination should be made while arranging darshanas of temples even though we reached at 3.30am. Guide has failed to show ganga harati in time. Manasa devi and chandidevi darshan should be added ii the tour. Hotel rooms are ok and food arrangements are ok.

Staff show lot of ego and discrimination about South Indians. Room boys abuse with dirty words. They give different rooms for those who booked from Make my trip and other agencies. Only food is good. I suggest not to stay in this hotel. Bcoz room boys and staffs are very rude. They even dont smile at all.

Proper veg. hotel, with delicious food. Rooms lack space. No additional bed, the mattress was laid on the floor. No fridge in the room and the shampoo bottle was leaking.

I had 5 rooms booked for our return night on 27th oct 2022 as part of the golden triangle trip arranged by Southern travels. Since few members in our group left the trip in between, i requested for a change like this - we will take only 4 rooms. In return of giving back the 5th room, allow 2 rooms to be checked out on Friday 28th evening, as there were members having delhi departures late in the evening. The staff at the desk agreed to this. My mistake was - i didn't take this in writing, neither did i record the conversation, but blindly trusted the staff..... On Friday my family members were checking out they charged 1500/- for one room as late checkout charges - total 3000/-. So, the hotel made money from the 5th room we had prepaid as part of the package but we didn't take and also made money from late checkout charges... I did report this to the travel coordinator, who was very supportive.. But even after his intervention and me sending email to the hotel management, not even an acknowledgement of the incident was given... Its not about the 3k additional we had to spend.. Its about the trust, staying by words and overall behavior... This was not good by the front desk staff on those 2 days - they acted very unprofessional.. They should know that, the hotel stays are tied to the tour packages arranged by travel desk and they can not act like an independent team.. Apart from this below are good and bad: Good : 1. The food at the restaurant is really awesome 2. The staff at the travel desk (next door) and the travel team (My poc was Mr.Anoop Singh, who was excellent in serving our needs) in general are very good. They know how to make a customer happy. Bad 1. Behavior of hotel front desk 2. Pick up and drops are conflicting.. Travel desk says, every customer staying will get pick up and drop as required...its included with room.. But, hotel reception says.. "You have to tell one day in advance" "Also our vehicles go for pickup/drop every hour only.. You cant ask adhoc.. Can't start like **:30am/pm".. When I had asked for an airport deop on 27th since I was returning on that day.. They blindly denied and I took an uber, as the drop was sounding like a favor customers are getting. 3. Rooms are small and not well maintained especially bathrooms.. Some rooms are relatively new and are good. But this may not be a factor for Someone who just need a place to sleep during a long trip. Overall here is my recommendation: Definitely choose Southern Travels as your travel partner for the Delhi based tours - they are very good at understanding customer needs and will give suitable customized plans and they are very flexible. However, see if you can ask for the Delhi stay at a different place than their hotel - or find your own hotel in delhi and use the southern package for the rest of your trip. I hope this helps.

Quality of food is not good at all. Taste is very bad. Quantity is very less and Rate is super high. Staff was ok. It's on main road but view is not good.

On Apps showing a big and beautiful building but when reached hotel they forced to get room in different building away from the shown in pictures through app, for giving room in the same building they forced to pay extra. Rooms are also small not maintained well. Also the breakfast is very limited and of only south Indian items served, No north Indian items are served.

They have two hotels under same name. The main hotel is better than the other one which is also nearby. But the rooms were neat and clean. The beds were old and uneven. The second hotel is located in a small street filled with mechanic shops. Hence crowded and pan masalas on road everywhere. If the travel is only for sight seeing or some purpose where you come to room only to take rest then its worth.

We stayed at this place from 26/11/23 to 29/11/23 for three nights i found this hotel very good the staff especially was good they provide you with whatever you need at once they clean your room timely and hotel was also clean the food that they serve like andhra fish and chicken ( and thali also) was tasty and reasonably priced children liked the bunker bed in the room. There is paid parking nearby fortunately my car remained parked in front of hotel whole time. Jhandewala metro station is nearby so no issues with travelling and sight seeing . I will definitaly visit again .
