- Rooms are okay for a short stay. Slightly small. - All bathrooms have glass panels in the room, so it's okay if you're staying alone or with a family member. I wouldn't be comfortable sharing this with anyone from work or even a friend. - they strictly don't allow guests. A bit if a bummer if you want to invite someone for a quick meeting or meet relatives in the city like I did. -While the rooms were generally clean, some areas weren't looked over. For example, drawers had dust and fungus (refer photos) - breakfast wasn't a vast spread, but decent. - overall, good for the price and location. - I stayed in two rooms during my stay, neither had a view or natural lighting.

It was possibly a good hotel in the past, presently however the linen is balded, the bathroom fittings are old and worn out. The service is the worst which aggrieved me more. Despite pointing out a fault on the first evening of a 6 day stay it was corrected on the 5th day. Avoid if you can.

Very cordial staff. I made mistake during booking thru agoda, final booking was made for one person instead of three. However they managed without extra charges. Food is fresh and tasty. Bathroom fittings shall be improved.

The housekeeping and reception services were good. I had booked a room for three people, but they didn’t provide an extra bed and only gave us one towel for three. I had to request another towel, and they brought it promptly. This showed a lack of readiness in their service. Breakfast was also prepared quite late; they had stated it would start at 7 AM, but by 7:30 AM, there was still very little available. Quite disappointing.

The hotel is looting money with the advantage of location. The food here is costlier than most of the five star hotels. The rooms are small and seem broken and old. Service is also not good.

Overly priced for a pretty small room. While the facilities are decent the management was pretty unwelcoming. One of the managers tried to demean us while we were trying to extend the room and were enquiring about the charges. For any establishment customer service needs to be of prime importance and everyone should be treated the same.

I was keen to use their services for my son who was transiting through New Delhi. I spoke to their reservations team, was shared a rate and then my headache began. I called 8 times to get their attention to the email they had asked for and 19 times to get through to someone who could help me book. Finally I got through to Mr. Suraj who hiked up the rate by Rs. 2000 and said that his team member must have made a mistake and that rates have changed in November (both the interaction days were in Nov by the way). Very unprofessional behaviour that a hospitality business expects a paying client to call so many times to reserve and within themselves they are clueless on the rates. Very unhappy, will definitely never recommend.

Location and breakfast were great, but I would not recommend this hotel. The pictures online are deceptive. Rooms aren't clean. Bathroom was quite gross. It didn't feel like a place I wanted to come back to after a day out exploring Delhi.

Hotel management didnt fare well while i requested for early check in perhaps reached at 8 am. It was a question of only half an hour usage since i had to go to attend meeting official one. When room allotted around 9.20 AM , i took only 20 mts. M tarriff corporate had inclusions of early check in Due to flight schedule arrival and when u r in metro city u cant take chances of transportation.. Have no choice left hence.......................... No worries

Booked it for conference,,there food and taste was good,,they have a convertable restaurant cum conference room for small group and a big hall for large gathering - location is good near to cannaught place and situated in from of lalit hotel,,there rooms were also good..

Very bad service. Receptionist rude and gruff speaking. Room key was not functioning. After many efforts neither they could fix the problem nor they availed me any other Room. Tea kettle bottom was dirty enough. Breakfast 3rd grade. Experienced rotten papaya juice.

There is no quality in the rooms, the dust is everywhere, the ac is not working, the bathrooms lack hot water, there are no basic toiletry items like toothbrushes in the rooms, the rooms are very congested, overcharged breakfast very bad food etc. There is an extra charge for early check-in around 1000/pp. We booked for 2-days but only stayed for a day. We got a very nice deal from The Lalit which is exactly opposite to this hotel in the difference of Rs1500. My rating would have been 0.01 stars for this Connaught Royale hotel

One of my best experiences during my vacation. It's situated in the premier location near the Lalit, excellent location, excellent rooms with all amenities like refrigerator with eateries and liquors, electric kettle, television with premium subscription of dth connection and well equipped bathroom with hot blower etc. Nice hospitality by hotel staffs and most importantly breakfast included (buffet meals and live kitchen).

The room was very dimly lit with poor visibility near coffee table. Linen was dirty and the wooden panel on the floor was broken. The location is food but the entrance is pebbled and unsteady especially for senior citizens. Breakfast spread as per timings was mentioned as 7.30 am but when I reached the place the spread was 50% missing. It needs to improve big time to compete competition.

Horrible management. Rooms do not have proper facilities to keep towels or clothes. Towels are not clean. Management is not bothered to keep adequate staff to give good hospitality. Food options are very less for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even water is not at all served on table. The worst experience.

Lift wa not working on whole 1st day 2. Flush was dripping all the time which gave a musical sleep time😴 3. When set outside in drizzle, the ceiling was lick too, so couldn't sit😳 4. When wanted to convey something at reception, the so called receptionist was busy on a video call and signed me to wait for a while 😳 Food was very good...

Horrible attitude by the manager. There is no availability of a cloak room and when we requested them to let our suitcases be they refused saying that it was blocking the way of there reception. It was okay for them that we kept sitting there for 2 hrs (12 pm - 2 pm) with our luggage at the exact same spot (perhaps he thought that by his uncooperation we will not go out and have lunch as planned and will have to eat there only... I don't know) The food is quite below average and on the expensive side. The tea is horrible. The rooms are very small. Not worth 5k/room at all. Zero points for hospitality. Negative points for the manager's rudeness Would ask to give a miss to this place as there are many other hotels in connaught place

First glance its okay.. but problems pop up wen u move into ur room. Warm water big issue, rooms are just toooo small, at the given price facilities are not upto the mark. no toothpaste n brush in the toiletries. Not a good experience

Not that much great. Room are not that big, shown in pics. And Some of there service product like Iron is too old and defects as aa well. As an Visitors i will avoid to visit it again.

Don't transfer them online payment their accounts are hacked and this property have no idea about this. Yesterday on 24th Aug, we transferred 5000/- on their registered No which they have mentioned on google and then they denied our booking.

A good place to stay for solo traveler

NO welcome drink offered while package has shown. AC cooling was fluctuating sometimes, after AC room was exhausted due to unavailability of fan. Room Service orders are taking lightly. Unnecessary disturbances by calling. Taste also not so good. Service tax is very high. All night train noises are there in room due to shivaji bridge railway platforms are there.

I had to change the rooms couple of times as guess they were having a maintenance issue .but the manager and the service people were kind enough to look into it and resolve it .my 3 star experience was only for the room but the people and service i would rate them 5/5

Hotel is good, it's fulfilling basic requirements. Cost is too high as per amenities. Staff are medicore ... Complementary items are not providing unless u demand. Packed Almonds, cashews are in front of u so u consume and they charge u.... Wifi is free but delay in delivering the password.

Good Hotel, but no view in any room, Bathroom fittings need cleaning as shower throws water everywhere. Food was okay, not bad, staff was very helpful and courteous. Location is Close to CP, and easily accessible

Well over all it was a nice experience in staying in this hotel with some bad experience. 1- Everytime there was a power cut in our room because of some technical issues. 2- Some of There charging sockets were not working properly. 3 - Also they won't allow you keep your baggage after you check out. 4 - They won't inform you what is complimentary and what is chargeable. So ask them before check - in. They must provide this facility or make some space for there loyal customers who want to keep there luggage for few hours after the check- out. 1- Good food 2 - Good Service 3 - Hygienic

Worst experience!!! For the price they charge, we expect a comfortable stay. Specially in the winters. No room heater, no hot water and on top of that reception kept saying everything is under repair. If you are charging the customer for all facilities and giving none what scam they are trying to pull. Do not recommend this hotel at all. Not worth the money or time

Didn't like much I had booked the room on 3rd October room I had room key number 407 but that room was 409 what a mistake the hotel staff made a bill of about 1000 on check out which was food which we had not ordered All this room number was done because of the key, the arrangement of the hotel is not good...

***Not Recommended*** ***Not worthy for the money*** Booked this hotel as part of Business Trip and that's the worst descision I have made. Even after calling and confirming they simply cancelled my booking but the good part is they are able to revoke the cancellation (Thank God Room was available). The first room I got had a faulty power plugs and I faced hard time to put charge for my mobile. Second one TV is not working and issue got resolved after calling maintenance team. Third one is they are not giving any instructions about free wifi. After calling only they are providing the login access. This need to be done during check-in itself. Fourth one is AC got malfunction and I was asked to change room after 1hr. The ultimate worst experience is this, the hotel checkout time is 12.00PM and they turned off the AC around 11.15AM. this is very pathetic. I requested for 1PM checkout but indirectly they forced me to checkout at 12.00PM. This is unacceptable customer service. Pros: 1. Allowed outside foods 2. Allowed to sit in lobby after check-out Cons: 1. No proper maintenance 2. No dedicated car parking 3. Very costly restaurant foods 4. Zero customer service They should not charge service amount for this.

The customer service was poor. Had an unwelcoming management. The rooms were very small and hot water was an issue. Since our booking was from the online portal, the manager even went about stating that we paid less as portals have some offer.How dumb one could be when you don't even know what is being offered in the portal?? While the working staff were decent enough the front line managers showed a lot of attitude. Better select another hotel rather than this one.

Very old building, small room with cheapest furniture from Ikea without any taste or style. A lot of cheap color plastic details what will better fit to kids room. If you see all this you understand that hotel is extremely overpriced. If you want to have breakfast you have to drive. Because they have restaurant in other building what is not so close.

Manager of this hotel is not aware of the policies and he tells in the middle of the night to cancel booking and go on roadside. Manager name is Lalit Kumar He is not only disrespectful but an idiot who doesn’t listens to anything other than his ego. But sorry no time to give u ego massage. A no for anyone who wants to book even for a single day at this hotel.

We went to the cafe...and were very cordially attended by Mr Surya. The hotel staffs were very well behaved and the service was nice with a great ambiance. Will highly recommend .
