Nice place to spend some time with friends. The place has outdoor seating area as well. The staff is well behaved n helpful. The place is quite spacious n buzzing with people. The outdoor seating has cemented seats around a big Banyan Tree. The place is neat n clean. Though A.C was not on still u were not feeling too much heat inside. The place has south indian menu with tea n coffee. The rates are reasonable. They accept digital payments. There are washrooms right at the entrance which were clean. There is ample parking area outside the place. The Coffee Home is disable friendly. The place is full most of the time n finding a seat is difficult at times.

Very reasonable at such a prime location. The filter coffee was really good, but to be frank the dosa could be really better. The service is super fast and the seating arrangement is really good. You may have to share your table if it's crowded. Generally it's full, there is also an outside space to sit. It attracts lot of young crowd as well, it's an initiative by Delhi government which is good. Proper handwash and washrooms are available.

A very reasonable place to have South Indian food and few North Indian items. Located in front of Hanuman Mandir and has undergone through renovations recently. Now this cafe is fully air conditioned and offers decent seating space along with outer seating space as well. The food price is very reasonably priced and preparation of food is also hygienic. Their filter coffee is awesome.

Today I visited this after completing my work this place is too good and reasonable in Connaught place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor aura is very nice. I have ordered a cup of coffee and chowmin which is really very tasty in this budget and I am really happy to go there. Coffee Taste 3.5 out of 5 Chowmin taste 3 out of 5 Hygiene 3 out of 5 Ambience 2.5 out of 5 Quality 3 out of 5 Quantity 3 out of 5 Because this place is in Connaught place so we have a less parking availablity. Must try atleast once 😋

I used to visit this during my college days. Recently visited again and found the place to be crowded with all age groups. This is situated opposite Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place. This coffee house is walking distance from shivaji stadium metro station and in between state emporiums. Decent food at reasonable cost #CP # Food #Delhi #India

This place is a hidden gem in Connaught place. The prices are so reasonable that you can have coffee along with some heavy snack in just 80-100 rupees, which would be sufficient for a person to feel fulfilled. I went there with my friend and we ordered half chowmien(50rs), cutlet- two pieces (100rs), elaichi tea(30rs), cappuccino(40rs), and hot chocolate(50rs) which sums up to 270rs. Buying so many things in just 270rs in a place like Connaught place is such a bliss. Not just the quantity but the quality was something which impressed me. This place is owned and run by Delhi government. The ambiance is just marvellous and portion size of food is also impressive. PS:- do not waste your time trying HOT CHOCOLATE! It's horrible. Go for other coffees and tea's.

Coffee Home in Connaugt Place was built with the objective of serving good food and snacks to the visitors at a reasonable price and at a decent place. The place was famous as Coffee House during yesteryears. The Coffee Home serves its purpose even today, though there are many a things that are an impediment to its popularity. Coffee Home is certainly not the first choice of those coming to the area. At first look itself the place does not impress. If you sacrifice that then the menu would, perhaps, not impress you. What is served at Coffee Home is very limited and not-so-cheap for a quick bite. You get a couple of South Indian dishes besides chowmein and vegetable pulao. Of course, you get beverage too-- both hot and cold. Coffee Home occupies a large area, both, covered and open. Still, unfortunately, it has failed to gain popularity among people. Strange but true! I think it should include more in its menu like chana-bhatura, pao- bhaji, raj kachori, aloo tikki, poori-bhaji, grilled sandwiches etc. Such food is popular, gives you taste and satisfies your hunger. Another shortcoming is is non-functional air-conditioning. It becomes too hot inside and guests start feeling incorporated. The hall has too little tables. It is important to open more sitting area by adding one more floor. There are many senior citizens occupying the chairs just for gossiping and would not move for hours. This irritates those who are looking for a table for their share of bite. Coffee Home in Connaugt Place needs to be given a fresh leaseeof life. It has the potential to become one of the most'wanted' hangout in a market which lacks reasonable outlets for snacks and food-on-the-go.

One of the best and unique places in Delhi to have great conversation on Chai/Coffee managed by Delhi Tourism. Its courtyard with Banyan Tree surrounded by concrete sitting structures is my favourite. But you won't be able to enjoy your food under the tree due to Monkeys menace. Another great characteristic of this place is that you'll spot many old age friends having great time over Chai and food. You'll rarely get to feel such vibes in Delhi except CR Park market. Food quality is good - I love their filter coffee and Kesar Halwa. Winter season is best to visit this place and mornings/evenings in summer.

Absolutely bad. You are compared to someone who just sit there and waste time. (No offence but there are people sitting age 55+ and not ordering anything from past 45 mins what I'm seeing right now) You open your laptop to finish an email and being stopped saying, people open laptops and watch movies here. (There is someone sitting just next to my table and watching Movie on phone. But you can't watch it on laptop otherwise everybody would come here and start watching something obscene or taboo). When ask for the reasoning they say it's Delhi government rule. This premise comes under Delhi tourism. I'm really disappointed seeing the management of it. P.S : Too noisey all the time. I would highly urge people not to come here and waste there's and your precious time. Have a good one!

Coffee Home in Connaught Place is a popular destination for coffee lovers in the heart of New Delhi run and managed by Delhi Tourism. The café has a retro vibe with simple and traditional decor, which gives a nostalgic feeling. This place is recently renovated and is more clean & hygienic. The taste of food is good and some of the best served dishes are veg cutlet, dosa and filter coffee. Budget friendly cafe with ample seating and friendly staff. Must visit.

Coffee-Home is a historic place in Connaught Place, Central Delhi. Probably it's quite possible that you are the 3rd or the 4th generation who is coming to this place. The place is very economical and serves as a get-together joint for all the retired population/senior citizens of the city. The home has both the options of sitting indoors and outdoors( on the granite bench under the banyan tree). Opens at 11 am. in the morning and goes up to 8pm in the evening and is accessible all 7 days of the week. Must visit if you are coming to Connaught Place and want to taste some local/indigenous food and filter coffee.

The veg chow mein was amazing. We ordered two plates and it was good enough for 4 people. The noodles were cooked through and went well with the 3 cold coffees and iced teas the group ordered. It was a nice snack and drink stop to have while checking out all the different state emporium shops. I think the emporium is a nice sampling of the cultures of India so having a convenient place to eat here is also great. Definitely a good stop if in the area souvenir shopping!

It is situated opposite to Old Hanuman Mandir. Hear a lot about it for good food. Had been there for lunch, very limited options. Had to wait ( in queue) for masala dosa for almost 30 minutes. Serving boys were almost unresponsive. Quality was so bad that could not even finish it.

Good place for hang out. You will find people of all the ages coming here for a quick bite. People use it for meeting as well apart as no body will ask you for the time as the spaces are plenty. Even has a Out door space of around 50 but be aware of monkeys if you are seating out side. Service is superb and price wise okay if you consider the outlet location.

This cafe has a special place in the popular modern history of New Delhi. It’s location and ambience makes it special. Several people , young and old spend hours chatting in its hall and the adjoining courtyard. Sadly, the quality of food is not the same as it used to be. And then the food prices at this non-AC casual place are higher than those at some similar air-conditioned eateries in the vicinity. Of course , one doesn’t come to coffee home for air conditioning. But good food at reasonable / competent prices is expected. Ditto about maintenance and hygiene in the dining hall and rest rooms.

This isn’t the amazing tasty cheap place of older times any more. Rs 50 for a single small cutlet was a bit shocking tbh, maybe 100 for 3 would be ok. Taste was fine, but a bit greasy. Hope it improves again. I would skip and have the tasty Bihari lotto chokha from right outside, and perhaps just have a reasonable coffee here.

The place has a nice ambience whether inside or outside sittings...the food was average, the chowmin was good but the dosa was not so good...so it was average by taste, however, the service has a scope of improvement, it is too slow compared to the customers they receive.

It's a Government Cafeteria with both inner and outer section seating arrangement. Whether you are a interior lover or love to sip the coffee under a tree, you are at right place! 2.5 stars matching the prices, quality, quantity and service/presentation of the food and coffee/tea (November 2021). Could have been far better! I am a visitor of the Coffee Home ever since it's establishment at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi and right from the days when it was located at the Central Park of the Connaught Place, since 1975-76; this has been a much sought after Coffee Home for economic prices for food and hot filter coffee (sometimes tea also) and political discussions among known friends and acquaintances, in the heart of the National Capital. Post 2nd wave of COVID-19, this coffee home has come up renovated with new furniture & fixtures, even new set of contractor (perhaps outsourced) for preparing and serving food. "Mainly" selected popular South Indian items, freshly made, are served at economic prices. Besides, some varieties of burger and sandwiches are also served; filter coffee is a popular hot beverage here. Only Vegetarian Food is available here. If not overcrowded, appears a reasonable place for quick bites at somewhat affordable prices. Toilets need to cleaned frequently due to more footfalls. As on date, they don't accept credit/debit cards, digital payment acceptance stickers are appearing near the cash counter but the cashier is more for cash payments, a serious black spot on the current Delhi State Govt. (November 2021), which owns and controls the Coffee Home, for hindering digital payment options freely and in national interests.

It's a place where there is Self Service, you make payment and collect food from counter. It gives an appearance of typical Sarkari Canteen ,cutlery of steel .The food used to be tastier earlier...now its average. Ample seating arrangement though with a good view of CP.

I just love coming to this place. When I used to live in Delhi, I used to come here at least once in a month. Now, whenever, I visit the city, I make it sure, I am visit here. The food, especially, Dosa - Filter coffee and Ice tea are good. And it's ambience, especially outside , under the banyan tree are awesome.

👍👍 Absolutely love their rice combos. Paneer rice is my all time favourite. Great option for dinner, if you work nearby. If you're looking for a place for quick bites, then you need to visit this place.
