A thoroughly different type of nice spot amidst the chaotic Connaught Place, New Delhi. Visiting in the evening hours is better as one can enjoy the colourful lighting arrangement. There is nothing much except some old charkhas and photographs. An entry fee is levied, which probably restricts meaningless visits.

KRW 300. But do you really need to see it? You can see Gandhi's thoughts and types of spinning wheels.

I have rated it less for the museum portion which is a boring visit..you can just stroll in 5 minutes..its for 20rs entrance..where you get khadi handkerchief..i have heard earlier they used to be good because what I got appeared like napkin of a hotel..there is a charkha inside where if someone is available then i guess you can operate..outside the museum some carnivals/dance are being organized which is a good time pass in cannaughtplace

We were just walking near CONNAUGHT place & suddenly I saw a new and attractive architecture so I decided to go & check it out. The entry for the museum is for 20 per person. The outer views are very cool as it's at the corner of the outer circle road. As per museum it's not that worthy place as some Charkha r kept in a small room. But yes for one time u must visit n to spend evening by sitting on grass on corner of road is worthy.

Nearest metro station is Rajiv chowk on the junction of yellow and blue lanes. The Khadi museum was setup right on the central garden area of cannought place. Celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, the museum area has a good sit out place installed with a huge steel charakha and a sculpture of 3 monkeys. The inner museum consists of different types of charakha's used in india pre and after independence with information and good detailing. Overall, its aplace to visit with kids and spend some good time and giving knowledge about the charakha and importance of khadi. Entry Ticket - Rs 20/person You'll get a khadi hand kerchief or handspun tricolour thread with each ticket. If helpful give a like.

Very nice place to visit in CP. Just aplosite the big Khadi Store opposite to block A. It has entry ticket of Rs 20 each. It has museum displaying old charkhas. Also there is a big 2.5 tonnes steel charkha on display. There is a well laid garden offering good place to sit, relax and take photos.

Great experience visiting the museum. But you have to need to carry your own food and water bottle because there is no canteen available inside the museum. Nice place to visit it enhance your knowledge about historical things.if you are going in summers so please carry small umbrella because In summers sun rays falls on your body that disturb your body and you get tired 😩

Charkha is one of our Nation- Building element of Pre- Independence India and it still symbolises a course chosen for self- Dependence, self-Reliance, self-Sufficiency. This place is a "physical encyclopedia" for all the information that one seeks to arise self- pride for charkha.

If you want to discover a world full of Illusions and like to get clicked with some amazing backdrops and props then Museum of Illusion is the best place to visit. You'll be surprised at the variety of attractions all under the single roof. Visit with a group of friends or with your family, this place serves the best purpose for fun in every way. One of the things which I loved is the cordial and helpful behavior of the staff present at the venue. They guide and inform us about all the installations at the museum and also help with clicking pictures in the best possible manner. Overall a great experience, loved it and I would highly recommend visiting Museum Of Illusion!

A museum is a place where old relics are kept for public show. A visit to a museum adds much to our knowledge of the past. Yesterday, I had a chance to visit a museum in New Delhi. I went there with my friend. It was a huge building divided into various sections. Each section had different exhibits. We went to the museum. First of all, we saw our own galaxy of stars. There were stars painted on the dome ceiling. It was a very good scene. It was felt that we were actually in the galaxy of stars. After that, we saw another section. This section contained weapons of the olden times. There were bows, arrows, swords, daggers, helmets, and spikes. The things were arranged to show the battle scenes. The adjacent room had the household goods of ancient times. These things were dug out from the historical sites. The domestic life of the ancient people was at display. One could see pots, pans, silver ornaments, musical instruments, clothes, and many other things. There were many Indian made things. These have been made by Indian scientists. Solar cookers, solar light system, models of dams and hydroelectric projects were being displayed. After seeing them one can estimate how Indians had made progress after Independence. Now we were tired. We returned to our home in the late evening after enjoying the day.
