It's located near the INDIA Gate, one can cover India Gate/war memorial/children's park in one visit. Entry is free, kids will have fun, it has many slides and swings for kids, good greenery, and a good picnic place. It also has a children's library for kids. India Gate's car parking is used for this park. It has a large space. Must visit for kids.

We went yesterday with our grandchildren aged 9 and 3. The park is most frustrating experience. We were ask to park 1.6 kilometers away on Man Singh road. We walked back with one child in a pram. We had to lift the pram over a 18" separator in the middle of the approach road. At the entrance a group of some 15 village folk were pleading with the security guys who were asking them to go away and saying that they would allow only 4 adults with their children. How can the authorities expect children to walk 1 and half kilometers? The circular jungle gym was a hazard. The park was not well maintained. While there so many flowers around none in the park to make them happy. The place is barricaded like Fort Knox! Where is the security threat - from children? It is most unfriendly for children and old people. We went to the same park in 1987 with our two children aged 8 and 3 it was such a memorable experience We remember it even today so beautifully. In sensitive administration bad planning and poor maintenance has made it a terrible place. Never go there with children and elderly. If I could I would give minus 5 ***** Rating.

Pleasant place for small children who don't expect a very sophisticated play area. The best thing about the Children's Park is that it's very green, full of trees and flowers (even a herbal garden), so your kid gets to play with all that greenery around. There are outdoor gyms too, so you can have a workout while your child plays. Among the other attractions is a Children's Library (only for ages 6-14). There's a rather dilapidated aquarium, an amphitheatre, and a now-dry fountain with a Jungle Book theme.

It is an awesome place. Full of small, medium and large kids 😉😁. Kids really enjoy this place with so many options and rides available. For senior ones the view is attraction. Best time to visit is as usual, evening. Adjunct to India Gate and War Memorial. So you can enjoy both the places as well. So it's three birds with one stone.🤘🇮🇳👌 If you like the review give 👍

This place is very nice, there are trees and plants all around, along with this there is a lot for children to play with, which keeps their mind and children's mind too. There is no fee to come here, you can also take food items with you. The area is great for fun. Transport service is also available next to India Gate, which can be reached there as well.

Clean, beautiful, playful park with jungle gym, swings and slides and even a library. Just near India Gate. And in my opinion, it's better than India Gate itself. There is no space where you can sit near India Gate as there is just a dusty ground and no grass, no cleanliness. But in Children's Park, it's other way around. Clean and green ground. You can play with your kids, you can sit on grass and let your kids enjoy the slides or just roam around with your family. Garden, flowers, refreshing environment. A must visit place with kids.

Children's Park is a great place for kids to enjoy. It has multiple swings and slides for kids off all age groups. It's a huge park with different sets of swings and slides at various intervals. Also has a children library as well. Park is very well maintained with lots and lots of flowers of different colors and genure. It also had a small area for fish aquarium and aquatic animals. The park is a great place for picnic with kids and family. It is located in a very close vicinity to India Gate. Good and Eatables are not allowed inside the park. Also make sure to carry your own water in the park, as the park is very big and water is not available everywhere. Couple of drinking counters are available but for that as well you need your own water bottle. There is no ticket for entry to the park and is open on all days.

Pleasant outdoor play area The Children’s Park next to India Gate is approached through the India Gate main entrance. You walk past India Gate, and off to the right, is Gate #2 of the Children’s Park. This is a pretty large park, full of trees, flowerbeds, even topiary—bushes shaped into elephants, rabbits, and other creatures. There are several spaces with outdoor play structures, from slides and swings to see-saws and monkey bars. Some spaces are specially designed for younger children (with smaller slides, shorter ladders, and so on) and some for older children. There are also a couple of different outdoor gymming areas attached to these, so if you’re keen on exercising while your child plays, you could keep an eye on your child in the play area beside you while you work out on the gym equipment. Besides the play areas, there are some other child-friendly spaces, or other spaces that are educational/entertaining/of practical use. There’s a small herbal garden (with quite a lot of herbs growing,). Beyond it is an amphitheatre, which I suppose could be used if performances for a child audience were to be staged. On the other side of the amphitheatre’s back wall is a small aquarium, very shabby and not at all worth seeing. In front of the aquarium is a large and poorly made plaster representation of a scene from The Jungle Book animation movie. This is supposed to be a ‘Jungle Fountain Plaza’, but was completely dry when we visited. One place which looked very promising was the Children’s Library. It’s open only to children between 6 and 14 years of age; parents are not allowed to enter. From the peek I could get through the open door, this seemed like a good place for a reader to hang out. However, since we were short of time, we had to skip it. A pleasant place to go, especially if you have a small child who’s happy with a play area and doesn’t expect anything very sophisticated. No entry fee is charged. All children below 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Central, good place for kids, although some things are rather run down. It isn't fancy but good entertainment for young children. Older kids may frankly find it a little boring. But during spring, the flowers are beautiful. There is supposed to be a library too here for children. Parking is sometimes a problem.

Water facility is also there. Of course all facilities are free of cost. Everyone having kids upto 12 years must go with there kids.

If you stay in Delhi NCR and have kids of the swingable age than you must visit this place. Opens at 9:30 in the morning and has no entry fee , loads of swing to spend some good time with little ones, further there is a library too here to ignite the curious mind. They have a musical fountain which was not operational while we visited and the place is next to India gate only. Open gym for parents while kids have fun at the swings....

Beautiful, colorful and full of greenery. Great park for kids only (parents only allowed with their kids). Lots of swings, slides and open gym for kids. Small Aquarium attracts kids attention, when kids get tired they can go to library and read books or in evening they can watch musical fountain. On weekend kids can do pottery and painting also. In last there is a amphitheatre too. My kids love Children's Park☺️☺️☺️

Before going to the India gate, this park is recommended especially if you have kids. You may even take badminton rackets with you to play inside the park. Though the park is full of swings, I would say not all of them are reliable and working, so test them before sending your child. During rainy season, don't even think about going into the park as most of it is sand, and when it gets mixed with water, it forms mud. Thanks to the locals, chips, murmurs, and ball to play with can be found before entering the park so just enjoy the park before enjoying the India gate at night.

Nehru Park, Delhi, is a large park situated in the Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave of New Delhi. Named after India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, the park is spread over an area of 80 acres (320,000 m2),[1]close to the heart of the city, and was established in 1969. It is today one of city leading green areas, and a venue for 'Morning Ragas and Evening Ragas Concerts, as part of the "Music in the Park" concerts organized by NDMC, New Delhi Municipal Council,[2] SPIC MACAY music concerts and the annual 'Bhakti Festival'. Apart from this it is a regular venue for art events, morning yoga classes, and houses an ancient Shiv Temple and cafe.[3] The park is one of the most famous landmarks of Delhi and a beautiful place to hang out during a sunny winter afternoon in Delhi. An absolute must see for anyone visiting Delhi. The Park has a life size alloy statue of Vladimir Lenin the leader of the Great October Socialist Revolution of Russia. The statue was installed on Ist November 1987 during the 70th anniversary of October Revolution. It was unveiled by then Soviet Premier Nikolai Ryzhkov, Indian Prime-minister Rajiv Gandhi and his wife Sonia Gandhi. Every year on 22 April members of Communist Party of India (Marxist) and other Left oriented Political parties visits the place to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Lenin.[

Located adjacent to India Gate, this is a park designed especially for children & has been a wholesome family entertainment destination for almost four decades. The park host number of swings and is a special attraction amongst children. It has large well-maintained lawns that provide good sitting grounds to visitors. The Children’s Park should be visited at night to see the beautiful illuminations. Hawkers selling toys, balloons, snacks, toys and ice cream keep the children entertained for hours.

A fabulous place not only for kids but for all. Clean and situated in the midst of greenery. A beautiful attraction for people from all age groups especially kids. Has a huge playground full of greenery & amazing and breathtaking rides. Genuinely a heaven for those who love peaceful, calm & healthy environment away from the noisy environment of cities like Delhi. Moreover it's totally free of cost. This park offers not only playing area but also promotes education as it is having a library of fishes swimming in the aquariums. I'll recommend to visit this place at least once.

Maintenance 4.5 out of 5bas some of the jhoola have their a little bit part worn out Drinking water 5 out of 5 Cleanliness 5 out of 5 Security 1 out of 5 as security guards sitting on the gates are not aware of the adults making invalid entry into the park. Outside stalls are charging higher than MRP on all items which should be a concern for authorities. Parking is a little far but common parking for India gate , national war memorial and children park.

Children's park adjacent to India gate is yet another family place. No tickets, large, lush gardens full of trees and plants. Could see a large staff maintaining the park. Play areas and open gyms for children at two places. A Children's library for the studious kind. Educational trip for children as there were numerous herbal plants with their name and an open area with local birds. Photo shoot places like Mowgli's fountain abound. Place was extremely clean. Washrooms were available and reasonably maintained. Facility of free drinking tap water. There was an aquarium but it had no fish. Parents were not permitted in the Children's library, so it wasn't of any use for a small child accompanying us. The old security person on the gate was quite intimidating and checking bags for eatables which aren't allowed. This is not a a picnic place, the lesson we got. Too bureaucratic. No wonder there were hardly any children though India gate was densely crowded with children.

Children's Park at India Gate is a great spot for families to visit. The park is well-maintained and offers plenty of open space for kids to run around and play. There are several playgrounds with different equipment and games for children of all ages to enjoy. The park also features a small lake where visitors can go boating. The location is ideal, as it is situated near the famous India Gate monument, which is a great place to visit after a fun day at the park. The park is also surrounded by a number of food options. Overall, Children's Park is a great place to spend a day with the family and take in some of the sights and sounds of New Delhi.

It was an amazing experience visiting the park almost after 25 years. But the swi gs need to be replaced. They are broken means not in good condition. Can cause fracture to the kiddos god forbid. Rest we enjoyed with our child a lot.
