The India International Trade Fair (IITF), an annual magnum opus of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in New Delhi. The IITF is one of the world's largest integrated trade exhibitions, having both B2B and B2C components. It has a diverse range of business, social, cultural, and educational dimensions that are intertwined, allowing visitors and exhibitors, journalists, marketing professionals, social activists, non-governmental organisations or NGOs, and others to source their objectives. The wide array of offerings at the IITF ranges from technology and electronics to handicrafts and textiles. Each year, a thematic focus is set, highlighting specific industry sectors or regional products. This approach not only allows visitors to stay informed about the latest products and services but also provides insights into the rich culture and heritage of India. A distinctive feature of the IITF is its ability to incorporate business meetings, networking events, and interactive sessions. This makes it not just a platform for business opportunities but also a hub for knowledge and cultural exchange.

I am visiting Trade fare since last 4 years and , I can say now Trade fare doesn't have that special feel , Very Few Traders are present , Almost Similar Products Every year. Year By Year It's Significance is Declining , space is also reducing every year, their was a time when exploring trade fare was not possible in a single day , but nowit can be easily explored in 2 hours.

Too small, due to construction going on. Only one-fifth of the total area is currently in use, severely restricting the number of participants. Previously each state had an dedicated hall, now all states are in one or two halls together. Railways and army are gone. International participation is bare basic and only basic consumer level. Only few industrial participation. Recommended only for consumer kind of basic shopping, nothing great. Guess will have to wait couple of years for it to be fully functional again.

India International trade fair is held every year in the month of november at pragati maidan which starts from 14th November and ends on 27th November. Its a kind of multi item show for extensively huge variety of products and ideas. Now trade fair is basically dedicated to encourge small scale industries basically artifacts from various parts of India as well as other countries. Another major part of attraction is state theme halls featuring their culture, religion and famous art work etc these states include himachal pradesh, orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand etc where you can their products and see their state specialities in a creative way. One hall is dedicated to indian army featuring long history of weapons, missiles and modern war fare. Trade fair also encourages digital India concept. Must visit place specially for young crowd to know their country well.

Not so good as it was some years ago. I used to go there in my childhood to see people from different areas across country, their culture, music and food. But now things have changed. Every other guy in the state pavillion is a delhite. Actually it's the Delhi businessmen who pretend to come from other states and sell their produstc in pavillion. There are very less number of foreigners and outsiders who bring quality products to the trade fair and sell them to public. Most of the products you will get from Delhi local markets only. Overall a very good place for outsider tourists and who are new in Delhi. I wish the crowd could be reduced, but it's increasing every year.

It has become such an amazing trade centre in delhi. I had visited as a teen ten years back and I visited the trade fair again. And to my surprise the place is fully renovated. And the infrastructure is contemporary. The washrooms are tidiest. Most of all to manage the crowd better in such fairs they have made the entry and exit points better.

Pavillion are not like how they used to be. They used to be state themed and some common and International Halls were present. But now there are 13 Halls (1-12 & 14) and all of them have mixed stalls. State theme halls are present (Hall 1-5) but only for Delhi, Bihar, UP, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. Previously before renovation there used to be dozens of well decorated state themed pavilions. One plus is that facilities and cleanliness is maintained very good and the new Infrastructure is very modern.

India's international trade fair is one of the biggest events people wait for the whole year to come. The largest collection of clothes, handicrafts, cosmetics and other products are there.. Food is not that good here but you can experience a wide variety of food.
