One of the best multi cuisine restaurant I have ever visited. Wide range of menu. Can't say anything about the Ambience as located in one the finest property of Taj, The Taj Palace in the heart of city. They have indoor and outdoor sitting ( located beside the pool) Superb menu. We went for buffet which had quite a few variety of starters ( tandoori chicken and amritsari fish) but yes have good options in cold salads. Pizza 🍕 was quite tangy and so is pasta. Mutton was not cooked properly but level of spice in Gravy made it special. Butter chicken was at its best. If you want to experience a great hospitality, can give it a try

Truly unforgettable Anniversary date at Spicy Duck, Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi, offering authentic Chinese with a modern twist. Treated ourselves to luscious Cantonese & Sichuan flavours served with the magic of Tajness. An extraordinary amalgamation of Contemporary vibrance, Minimalistic Elegant interiors, Cozy ambience, Authentic Balanced flavours & Warm affectionate hospitality. The name Spicy Duck gains it's inspiration from the Duck that signifies freedom, happiness and fidelity in China. The food is all about home-infused oils, aromatic spices and a deviation from an overuse of condiments. We kick started our meal with an assortment of dimsums. Veg- Edamame dimsums, Shanghai dumpling Non Veg- Pan fried chicken Guo-Tie, Chicken Pakchoi Absolutely divine and come in the thinnest of coverings which are bound to leave you astounded. All with perfectly cooked meat and veggies in elaborate and delicious sauces with a hint of spice giving it that kick. Don’t forget to sample the duck delicacies when you land up here. We tried the Peking Duck roll and Mock Duck roll (Since my husband is a vegetarian) and they were insanely good. Relished the Crispy Honey lotus stem, mushroom spring roll & Chicken Tai Chin too. The staff was super helpful in helping us pick the right dishes according to our palate. What’s even better than delectable food? Some pours to match our meal! We tried 4 cocktails Consensual (Vodka based), Smoked Sandalwood Old fashioned (Whiskey based), Berries & Rose aperol spritz (Vodka based) and Aegeon Fantasy (Gin based) And yes! Their Signatures surely hit all the right notes. Their food is a delicious combination of taste and essence. For mains their Shanghai shredded chicken, Vegetable in hot garlic sauce, Ma po Tofu in chilli bean paste with Pan fried chicken noodles and Veg fried rice were definitely a treat for our tastebuds! The perfect conclusion to our delicious meal were the desserts. Must try the Crispy date pancakes with icecream and Sweet chilli chocolate mousse in brittle basket. The creations will blow you away. Spicy Duck is a real treat to all the senses!

This fabulously modern restaurant serves excellent Cantonese food in this part of the world. From modern dim sum with excellent chilli oil to Peking duck pancakes and full Cantonese menu, this is excellent. Good wine list and desserts and the setting in the Taj Palace Delhi is stunning.

Loved the Ambience and the Service. With food, Dim Sums could have been a little better. Loved the dessert though. Our Server was really friendly and we had a memorable celebration. Looking forward to next time 🙂

Spicy Duck is Located at Taj Palace, New Delhi. I was staying at Taj and decided to have lunch here and I’m glad I did. It was one of a kind experience. The ambience is just beautiful and the food here is absolutely Authentic Chinese cuisine. Totally enjoyed sichuan cuisine. The staff is really polite and courteous. We had veg wok tossed fried rice, veg spicy sichuan noodles and vegetables in black bean sauce. All of these were delicious. My favourite was spicy noodles, it had a nice flavour of sichuan pepper and smoke to it. The table was set beautifully and they had great quality of chopsticks as well. We all were served individual kimchi side dish. I would highly recommend this restaurant 💯

I had a delicious lunch-- big thank you to my wonderful waiter Mr Mahesh who advised me very well. The menu has a "Solo Traveler" page for people eating alone, which is a good innovation. Food, drink, service, ambience all wonderful. Highly recommended and I look forward to going back

A good authentic Chinese restaurant at the venerable Taj hotel in Delhi. The decor is nice and relaxing, the mood is chill and the service is top notch. The menu has lots of variety and the dishes we ordered were well prepared and flavorful. The lemongrass crème brûlée was the perfect dessert to end the meal. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Spicy Duck in Taj Palace Hotel is an wonderful place for Oriental cuisine lovers. They are having wide varieties of Asian food which is authentic and tasty. Chef is highly talented. Staff is quite friendly. Service is fast and ambience is super cosy and comfortable. Spicy Duck can customize food according to ones preference as well. Deserts options are good as well. As a chocolate lover I choose Chocolate tart which is quite good. Highly recommend.... Loved it totally.....

It's a beautiful Hotel. The staff is very generous, polite communicative and responsive. They always are eager to serve their best. It's close to several embassies which makes it easily accessible for dignitaries. The IGI airport is 15-20 minutes away. You would enjoy your stay here.

One of the best multi-cuisine restaurants I've ever eaten at. A diverse menu is available. I can't say anything about the ambience because it is located in one of Taj's finest properties, The Taj Palace, in the heart of the city. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating ( located beside the pool) Excellent menu. We went for the buffet, which had a wide range of starters (tandoori chicken and amritsari fish) but also had a good selection of cold salads. The pizza and pasta were both quite tangy. The mutton was undercooked, but the level of spice in the gravy made it special. Butter chicken at its finest. You can try it if you want to experience great hospitality.

recently had the pleasure of dining at the Spicy Duck Restaurant, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary adventure that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the tantalizing aroma of spices, immediately set the stage for an unforgettable experience. As a lover of spicy food, I was excited to try their renowned duck dishes, and I was not disappointed. The menu featured an impressive array of options, each promising a unique blend of flavors. After much contemplation, I decided to indulge in their signature Spicy Szechuan Duck. The dish arrived beautifully presented, and with the first bite, my taste buds were transported to a realm of pure delight. The succulent duck was perfectly cooked, tender on the inside and gloriously crispy on the outside. The heat from the Szechuan peppers added a fiery kick that danced harmoniously with the rich flavors, leaving me craving for more. Aside from the exceptional duck dishes, the Spicy Duck Restaurant also offers a variety of other culinary delights. Their appetizers, such as the Crispy Duck Spring Rolls and Spicy Peking Duck Dumplings, were bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. The menu also boasts an impressive selection of vegetarian options, ensuring that every diner finds something to suit their taste

Overall, Spicy Duck is a great restaurant for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is luxurious. It is known for its upscale dining experience and its focus on duck dishes. Must Order: The Peking duck, it is the signature dish of the restaurant. Try the other duck dishes, they are all excellent. If you are vegetarian or vegan, there are still plenty of great options on the menu. The restaurant has a modern and elegant interior, and the service is attentive and professional. Spicy Duck features a wide variety of duck dishes, including Peking duck, roasted duck, and duck confit. The duck is all sourced from local farms and is cooked to perfection.

One of the places which I frequently quite often to meet friend and guests. Hostess is very friendly. Once when I was quite new in CII, my boss asked for cigarette and I went to this restaurant and asked for a cigarette, he put that extra effort to bring the pack of Marlboro which I still has since only one was used by SKN . Have positive memories about this place.

The quality of meat was not good which ruins the taste of most dishes. Neither the dimsums or the stir fried pork with bamboo shoots and mushrooms was good. The veges in garlic sauce and tea selection was ok.

An Asian themed in-house resturant of the Taj Palace, Chanakya Puri. The cuisine reflects the specialties of the Sichuan and Canton provinces of China along with several other Asian delicacies. The high end restaurant though expensive gives a memorable experience of Chinese food. It is one of the three restaurants of Taj Palace.

Extremely disappointed at this Taj experience. 1) the meat was poor quality and stinky. We had ordered pork dimsums and pork for main course 2) the booking service failed to tell us that bluebar was closed.

Food is great. Chef is good at making an Indianised version of fine Chinese. Desert is no way of quality though. Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing with the service. The low average review (versus a 4* review) is because of mediocre /non-professional service - not at all fitting for the class.

Excellent excellent Chinese food. Everything we tasted here was just superb! The attention by the staff excellent. The ambience of the inside seating and Al Fresco dining areas so so good.

The service is very poor. You have to wait hours and hours before anything gets served. Despite the restaurant being near empty, we were told only one table was available. The ambience is below average - it’s almost sad. There’s no ambient music, just dull lights that really kill the mood. You leave the place hungry and depressed. Worst decision ever to visit.

The name of restaurant goes well with the food served very spicy that makes you feel like you’ve been ducked. Specially the steward BRIJESH who was very rude which you never expect from THE TAJ hospitality. Being a regular and loyal customer of taj hotels globally this was a disaster.

Truly magnificent - I stayed at the Taj and had Indian food at the Masala before. One night I wanted “lighter” Chinese cuisine and boy, does this place not disappoint. Service is obviously impeccable, decor stunning and the food truly incredible!

The restaurant retains the old world charm unlike contemporary restaurant outlets in its league...the food is easy on the palette and full of flavor..stir fried prawn, crispy fried assorted veggies and chicken pakchoi dimsums stood out from among dishes ordered..

We went to spicy duck with high expectations of authentic chinese and a top notch ambience but the experience was not at all upto expectations. The food and the ambience was not at all according to a 5 star hotel standard. On the recommendation of the staff we ordered Crispy chicken in superior sauce which was cold and absolutely high in salt and so chewy, the quality was really bad. They agreed to serve us another one which was hot but the taste was same. The sauted vegetables in black bean sauce has so much high salt! The wok tossed noodles as well were not at all upto the standard. You can have better chinese food experience in other hotels like Le Meridian, Shangri la etc. We felt weird in the stomach as well after eating the appetizer chicken which hints on the quality of food being served. Overall not a good 5 star experience.
