A
Big
No
No
Not
a
family-friendly
or
couple-friendly
hotel.
I
just
had
to
share
my
personal
experience
at
So
called
Chanakya
(Govt
approved)
hotel
,
It's
a
big
no-go
for
families
or
anyone,
really.
So,
I
checked
in
with
my
girlfriend,
and
I
casually
mentioned
that
my
girlfriend's
sister
might
drop
by
for
a
birthday
celebration.
To
my
surprise,
the
hotel
staff
dropped
a
bombshell:
an
extra
1000
Rs
if
she
showed
up.
Reluctantly,
I
agreed
to
pay
it,
thinking
it
was
just
a
formality.
Well,
the
twist
in
the
tale
is
that
my
girlfriend's
sister
couldn't
make
it.
I
went
back
to
the
manager
and
politely
asked
for
my
extra
1000
Rs
back
since
she
didn't
come.
But,
oh
boy,
did
things
take
a
turn!
The
manager
went
all
rude
on
me,
saying
they
couldn't
refund
my
money
because
it
was
my
problem
if
she
didn't
show.
Seriously?
I
tried
explaining
that
I
booked
just
one
room
for
1200
Rs,
but
honestly,
it
wasn't
worth
more
than
500
Rs.
Dust
and
garbage
galore.
The
manager's
response?
"If
you
have
a
problem,
leave
the
hotel
right
now,
in
the
middle
of
the
night."
Lovely,
right?
I
did
argue
for
a
bit,
but
then
I
thought,
"You
know
what?
My
girlfriend's
safety
is
more
important
than
getting
that
1000
Rs
back."
So,
we
left.
The
manager
talks
very
rudely
and
so
arrogant
like
he
is
running
a
hotel
near
Oberoi
Villa
or
Marriott,
but
hey,
basic
respect
and
clear
communication
with
customers
shouldn't
be
too
much
to
ask.
Don't
be
in
the
business
of
taking
people's
money
without
delivering
on
your
promises.
Dont
checkin
in
this
hotel
,
otherwise
you
will
regret
