The OG Paratha shop in Parathe Wali gali. We got here around 3 and it was pretty crowded but we got a seat for our group of 11 within 5 minutes. We tried - matar, green chilly, mix veg, rabri, banana, dry fruit and heeng jeera parathas. The heeng jeera, chilly & rabri were the best, the banana is supposed to be their speciality but it wasn't great + had a strand of hair in it. The fact is that even with deep frying, none of the parathas were great, average at best, every filling was lacking flavour. The side chutneys and sabzis were yum, lassi was below average.

Shop no 34. Parathe wali gali Chandnj Chowk, Busy area.. huhh..!!! They actually serve deep fried paratha not traditional way of Tawa paratha. However they have varieties, lot of different kinda stuffing. Server with 3-4 kind of sabzi n curries, chutneys. 1 plate comes with 2 parathas. Taste wise okay. You might have to wait to get a seat. I feel they are ‘try once’ food as its famous.

Interesting Paranthe - Stuffing wise Tastewise okay Over priced One of the old and famous paranthe wale shop in chandni chowk. These guys have been here for over 100 years and I'm going to this shop for over 20 - 25 years. They are definitely over priced and now they've stopped serving single parantha (each plate comes with 2 paranthas), which is a very big turn off, you can't taste different stuffing at a time (unless you are in a big group) They have an interesting range of paranthe ive tried most of them (except the banana parantha) I find green chilly, lemon, okra, hing jeera to be interesting and out of the ordinary. More than the parantha the side dishes are better. The lassi is better below par. I've been going here purely for nostalgia. Next time will try one of the other shops.

Our food walking tour of Old Delhi continued at this landmark. For a place that opened 150+ years ago and has been running for 6 generations-they must do something right. Parathas that we normally consume are cooked on a flat griddle and smothered with butter. Here the Parathas are deep fried in butter! It makes the Parathas a bit more crispy and almost like stuffed Kachoris. We had Lemon, Karela and Rabri Parathas. The owner was kind enough to put a new deep fryer pan and fry the parathas in olive oil to make it vegan for us. An extra star just for that. The kids loved the Rabri paratha. The lemon and karela were unique as well and we kinda liked it. The curries were something else. The potatoes, green peas, pumpkin stood out as amazing. What was more amazing was the banana and tamrind curry - very unique and tasted so good. The sweetness of banana, the sourness from tamrind and spice was a perfect combination

Well, honestly, I'm not much of a fan of fried paranthas, but today we decided to try one since we were very hungry. We had to wait for 5 minutes, and not just this shop, but all the other parantha shops were full with waiting outside. We ordered the peas paranthas, and they were good, surprisingly not very heavy on the stomach. However, I found a couple of issues: 1. There was no option to order a single parantha! The paratha prices started from 200/-, so I believe they should offer the option of ordering just one. 2. We politely requested if we could have two different flavors of paranthas at least since we were not sure which flavor would be good, but they denied. All in all, a decent experience.

I'd say it was one of the best paratha I ever had. Situated inside paranthe wali gali. They have all kinds of stuffed parathas. Lassi isn't upto the mark.

The place is little overhyped. If you are a delhite who knows what Paratha's are, most probably you won't like the place. But if you are a tourist, the place is a must visit. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. You get a lot of options and weird parathas also. Nothing beats aaloo paratha with lassi. You can dine-in or takeaway. I highly doubt if they do delivery. The place is clean but small. You might not get a seat when the business is at peak hours. But do enjoy the food atleast once✌️

Good place as its one of the oldest shop in the location and parathe were freshly made deep fried in form of kachori you can say. Not tawa Paratha, it's deep fried ones. Good varieties.

They make paranthas in Ghee, we cloud see them pouring into kadhai for frying. All paranthas are fried and more like big kachori. So please expect accordingly. Options are good service is well managed. Good pricing and value for money. But not as cheap as usual street food in chandani chowk. Items like khoa parantha will be prepared like a big gujiya. Overall good experience with a wide range of offerings.

Again Delhi's famous 100+ years old paratha joint where you can try many varieties of parathas which you have never heard before (if you're not from delhi of course) They serve decent portion size of parathas. As this one is a famous places and Delhi's one of the main attractions for tourist it's difficult to get a table instantly. So you have to wait for few minutes depending on the hours you're visiting. Just remember they don't accept UPI payments so always carry cash in parathe wali galli. You'll see photographs of many celebrities visited here and some famous personalities as well. The owner is always present here and he love to talk about his shop. I'd recommend not to engage him with talking better concentrate on food and move to other shops. place is small no parking available somewhat hygiene is maintained.

Hot, hotter & hottest variety of deep fried ghee parathe. Every bite will take one back to 18th Century when royals tread the lanes of this iconic Chandni Chowk. Will come back for more particularly the rabri paratha. Happy eating minus onions/garlic!

The outlet is located in narrow lanes of parathe wali gali. They serve plenty of parathas. I tried their Paneer and Special cheese Paratha. Special cheese paratha is highly recommended. The menu is priced on the higher end but the taste is good. The seating is limited. Packing charges are whooping ₹50 extra which is little disappointing. A must try spot in paharganj.

It is a below-average food joint that serves myriad varieties of Parathas that can be thrilling for some while weird for others. We ordered Mirchi Paratha and Mix Veg. Paratha, which is their specialty. Both of them tasted the same and neither of them was outstanding. It was okay-ish but the siders/sabzi that is served along with the Parathas are fine. This place is overhyped on social media and the prices they charge for a Paratha are way more than they deserve. They deserve to be known as Poori rather than Paratha for sure. Everyone gets the urge to visit it at least once while exploring the food items in Chandni Chowk but this charm ends right there after trying it.

This is the most famous and very old place for paratha lovers situated at Parathe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowk. There are lots of paratha shops but you will see the maximum crowd including foreigners at thsi place only. They have lots of varities of Parathas and mostly priced between Rs. 200-300/- range. One plate includes two Parathas, they are deep dried and small in size as compare to normal Parathas. So I suggest order one plate for one person. The taste and quality of stuffing is very nice, they also very crisp outside and hot inside and taste is so good. I like their Aloo, cheese, mix Parathas and if you want to try something different then you must go with rabdi Paratha. This place is very small, due to which the seating area is very less. But service, atmosphere and taste is too good. Worth to visit if you are in Chandni Chowk.

I ate mixed and paneer paratha here. The place is small and busy. The taste is not so bad. I liked paneer paratha more. They do have many different varieties of paratha. You may find some hygiene issue as I also ordered lassi in which I found hair. They tried to replace it but I did not took the replacement as I was already full. But they did not had any courtesy to say sorry and not to charge any money for that lassi. However, I did not argued either. If you are not a heavy eater you will be satisfied by the portion size.

The oldest shop to try parathas since 1872. You will get a much elaborated varieties of parathas in the menu which we must haven't thought too. A must try is the panner cheese stuffed paratha. But there is a compulsion you will have to buy at least 2 parathas. Staff is not very much friendly and the shopkeeper is rude. Prefer to keep cash coz they dont entertain online payment much. The QR code for online payment the shopkeeper keeps hidden which is not good. Still over all the taste of the parathas are good and have maintained the legacy. Should improve in hospitality.

HONEST REVIEW.. ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! Guys, belive it or not, but this is the WORST shop, fooling customers by giving poori in the name of parantha. Father & Son duo fooling customers by charging whooping so much for a pathetic food. Guys, someone slap them and tell them that this isn't what we call Parantha. One more interesting thing I noticed was that the owner's son was eating an actual Paratha (Yes, an actual Paranta, not poori what he serves to his customers charging 170-200) of ₹20 from a nearby street vendor. We were laughing seeing him but also feeling foolish of ourselves that we were cheated just by the name of paranthe wali gali :( Message to owner: Sir, please learn how to make parantha. There's a difference between Parantha and poori.

So tasty. Part of a food tour. Tried several of the stuffed flat breads. Lemon was interesting and unexpected. The pumpkin stew and the aloo mutter were both a dream.

If you are visiting Paratha wali Galli then this shop is highly recommended. It's one of the oldest & most hygienic shop in Paratha wali gali. Actually it's more of a Puri than Paratha but this is how it's going on from decades. I tried almost all of their menu but nothing beats the good old Aalu ka Paratha with lassi.

This is one of the oldest shop of parathas in Chandini chowk. It is located in Parathe wali gali. The prices of their paratha is around 160-180.Although prices are quite high as compared to food portion. Seating capacity is also there. Taste of their lassi is refreshing. It is one time for all who want to taste and experience the taste of parathe at such a Old shop .

The place is located inside the parathe wali gali. They used to serve decent ghee fried parathas. A pair of paneer paratha will cost rupees 180. Watery lassi will cost rupees 60 which is completely waste of money. Otherwise everything was good. One must try at least once. They accept cash only.

Authentic deep fried parathas in the famous paratha alley in Chandni chowk. Each plate gets two parathas, some vegetables, and two chutneys, usually mint and tamarind. Lassi or Indian buttermilk is additional and served in a terracotta cup.

They are good. But they need to shore up very heavily on hygiene. One of the paranthas we ordered here had a long strand of hair. Not acceptable even if u r a very old shop and huge fan following.

must visit to have pure ghee deep made fried Paratha at Parathe wali Galli chandani chowk near laal qila, you get variety of Paratha even in sweet rabdi special one, you get two small parathas in one thali with sabzi and many other chatnis, cost of one thali is minimum 200, but it's worth as they made it with ghee only.

  • 3/5 Mahesh T. 5 months ago on Google • 53 reviews
Good tasty paraths especially chatani which is chat pata. They accept only cash and no online payment is the worst thing. Based in crowded alley in paratha wali galli

  • 3/5 Samujjal B. 11 months ago on Google
Parathas are little too small according to the price and not that all very tast. You will get 3 different shabji alu, mix and pumkin. Also gur ki chutney and pudiney ki chutney. Very little place to sit and slow service. I have tried the bindi(okra) paratha , it was good and unique. You can get many different types of parathas. I can say it is over hyped and overrated. Try yourself and judge yourself.

Really best place to have paratha in parathe wale gali near chandani chowk at delhi, most celebrity and politicians have visited the place, prices are reasonable, from station if you have 1 hr gap for next train then take a rikshw for rs 50-100 it will take 10 min to reach have your tummy fill with delicious foods and return.

  • 1/5 harmeet singh j. 7 months ago on Google
Overpriced , below average quality food. Please dont come here. They are forcefully serving 2 paranthas in a plate. They deny a single portion if you want to eat one. Sabzi taste is okaish, only meethi chutney was good. You van go to other shops.

  • 4/5 Pritish P. 1 year ago on Google
This is the best shop in parathe vale gali to try the unique paranthas over there. The parsnthas are fried here instead of being cooked on tawa. The paranthas taste amazing and the filling is pretty generous too. The taste is quite distinct with unlimited refill of the vegetables and chutneys allowed and you can see the cooking process in front of your eyes. Please note this place is cash only. Also avoid lassi here as it is not worth. Overall a good place to visit if you are at chandini Chowk.

Reasonable price for pure ghee paratha but the place is very congested and in my opinion not recommended for joint family to dine in as you may have to wait a while on road to get seats.

  • 4/5 Nitesh J. 2 years ago on Google
Iconic place of Delhi. Must try out the awesome varieties of Paratha's Only drawback is very small place and crowded to the hilt. And just forget abot hygiene. Only taste buds get happy.

Overpriced for sure !! ordered a Special Cheese paratha and it's cost was ₹100 and size was very small. Moreover the parathas are deep fried .....so if you take my advice don't go for it rather go for small dhabas they have good parathas ...taste of this was even not out of the world .

Tried most of the stuff from the menu. Whenever I visit Delhi this is one mandatory place to go. Out of all the aloo, gobi, paneer and khoya are the most recommended. Mostly I prefer to hog on them with lassi and not the stuff being provided on the sides. Try it!

A very old shop in paranthe wali gali!! We have tried 4 parantha at this place Paneer Gobi Cheese & Aloo pyaz paranthaa!! I personally liked this cheese parantha!! Service was good!! Taste of the subji was yummy!! Overall a perfect place to visit!!

Its one of the best quick snack shop when it comes to shopping at chandni chowk. I really had 7 parathas like gobi, matar, onion, mix, rabdi, mirch, khurchan. The rabdi paratha was a blast n it was really tasty. U cant think that fried parathas can even be more tasty n yummy. The place is hugely crowded. Sometimes there is a line also. Many are waiting for their no. Its a conjusted place but u can quitely sit n eat n enjoy. My experience was really tasty.
