In
all
honesty,
I
picked
Saz
because
I
was
craving
a
really
good
sazerac
cocktail.
Turns
out,
the
experience
is
top
notch,
not
the
OG
Sazerac.
We
dropped
in
for
dinner
after
trying
to
locate
the
place
since
all
you
see
from
the
Sundar
Nagar
Parking
is
ATM.
Once
inside,
the
ambience
is
of
what
one
would
imagine
an
American
Bar
with
Food
would
be.
We
started
with
Truffle
Hand
Cut
Fries,
Fried
Chicken
Strips
and
drinks.
As
mentioned,
their
OG
Sazerac
Cognac
was
the
first
drink
I
ordered,
was
left
a
bit
underwhelmed.
The
drink
was
a
tad
too
sweet
for
my
palette,
and
didn't
match
up
to
my
current
Sazerac
benchmark.
The
other
drink
on
the
table,
their
Bellini,
made
up
for
the
average
OG
Sazerac
experience.
The
Fries
were
fantastic,
and
they
were
generous
with
the
truffle
too.
My
partner
and
I
consider
ourselves
French
Fry
Connoisseurs,
and
these
fries
feature
in
our
Top-10
list
without
a
shadow
of
doubt.
The
next
new
drink
we
ordered
on
the
table
was
brilliant.
Remember
the
Maine
was
the
name
of
the
drink,
and
remember
it
I
will.
Balanced,
refreshing,
beautifully
spirit
forward
with
the
right
amount
of
Sweet
Vermouth,
absolutely
loved
it.
Best
way
to
describe
this
one
is
a
Manhattan/Rob
Roy
that
went
and
re-discovered
itself.
Next
up
was
a
Smoked
Chicken
&
Jalapeno
Pizza,
a
Chicken
Schnitzel
Burger
and,
my
personal
food
highlight,
their
Apple
&
Beer
Braised
Pork
Belly.
The
Pizza
was
a
thin
crust
pizza,
light
and
fresh,
exactly
what
one
would
want
as
a
sharing
plate.
The
Chicken
Schnitzel
Burger
was
fantastic,
easily
amongst
the
better
Chicken
Burgers
out
there.
The
Pork
Belly
was
nice
and
succulent,
served
on
a
bed
of
Barley,
made
for
a
fantastic
meal
on
its
own.
The
staff
was
nice
and
responsive,
the
bar
equipped
adequately
despite
the
ongoing
(2021)
liquor
limitations
in
Delhi,
and
the
location
it
fantastic.
Definitely
worth
a
visit,
or
seven.
