shopping
centre/apartment
facility
hosts
one
of
the
few
publicly-accessible
swimming
pools
in
Lubumbashi.
It
is
25m
long
and
suitable
for
swimmers
of
all
types,
although
serious
swimmers
might
wish
to
come
early/late
as
there
are
no
lane
markers
and
the
pool
is
quite
popular
with
children
in
the
afternoons.
There
is
a
gym
next
to
the
pool,
and
it
is
all
set
around
La
Brioche,
a
cafe
with
decent
coffee
and
a
bakery.
The
entire
complex
is
set
on
the
shores
of
Lubumbashi's
artificial
but
very
beautiful
lake,
crated
by
damming
the
river
Kafubu
near
the
centre
of
the
city.
Overall,
it
is
a
nice
place
to
relax
and
shop,
and,
if
you're
looking
for
a
swimming
pool
in
the
tropical
heat,
dust,
and
chaos
of
Lubumbashi,
it
is
a
godsend.
