I heard a lot about this place and didn't think a donut could be that special. I was so glad to be proven wrong. I tried the sugar glazed raised donut, simple and classic. What makes the donuts here stand out is the texture. It is so airy almost to the point of losing its structure when you hold it. When you get a donut from somewhere else you can pinch it with two fingers and it stays firm and secure, sturdy and solid. Mr T's donuts, on the other hand, are so light that your fingers will almost touch if you try to pinch it, you have to support it from the bottom. When you bite into it it's incredibly fluffy, chewy and silky. The experience was unlike any donut I've had before, and that's what makes it special and unique.

Mr. Ts has good (usual) tasting donuts. Nothing spectacular, but they had a variety of donuts to choose from which made us happy! I gave 3 stars instead of 5 mainly because of the customer service! The customer service lacked extremely and the young lady helping us was not rude , but not pleasant either. Poor customer service. Did not smile or greet us. Did not thank us. Just was extremely blah and definitely did not want to be there. I get work sucks, but when you work in customer service you have to fake it sometimes! We felt rushed. Overall it was ok. They really need better service and structure with the line!

Good fresh donuts: 5 stars Rude cashier: -4 stars Total: 1 star Don’t plan on returning. We drove a half hour to try these donuts because of the very high rating. I was surprised by how disorganized the place was. The cherry on top was the rude cashier. Observations: The bear claws looked like they were the size of real bear claws. The mango filled donut was way too sweet. Donuts were generally fresh and fluffy. Coffee was bad. The cream filled donut with coconut shredded on top was surprisingly excellent. Overall: Don’t go.

Best donut shop in town! A Modesto staple and an absolute must stop. Serving up the most delicious donuts around, you’ll hate to love this place. They only accept debit card and cash.

What’s wrong with these donuts? Quality has dropped substantially. Tonight 10/08/23 bought 2 donuts. When I bite into it my mouth was full of oil. Donuts was soaked in oil, disgusting! The girl gave me another one and it was the same. I ask for a different one and she gave me one showing me attitude. Rude service.

My favorite donut shop of all time. So why the 3 stars? Check out the Cherry cake that I had. Thin icing. Still tasted great but I feel like one of the following happened: 1. Either too lazy 2. Or trying to save money? 3. 1&2 Second time this has happened in a row. I will come back in another week. I will update accordingly. Side note. They have the best donuts anywhere. Please bring back the thicker icing for the cherry cakes.

The cinnamon buns are worth the visit. Maple-bacon bars are overpriced. Donuts are excellent here, especially the maple or chocolate white cake. Coffee is very good here; great service too.

A friend recommended this place. He drives an hour at least once a month to get these donuts. I agree that the bacon maple bar are the bomb but the crullers I tried were good but not as good as our local family owned donut shop in Castro Valley. While good, I will not be driving an hour to get them.
