My husband and I decided to try this place for lunch today because it had 4 stars. I'm not sure how people in Turlock like their fish, but we travel all over the U.S. for work and this place was disgusting. I got greeted and told to sit, while I looked over the menu waiting for my husband to arrive...I could overhear the 2 waitresses talking about their periods and birth control! Not sure about you but that not what I like to hear about before I have lunch. Anyhow we ordered 2 rolls and the spicy tuna was not rolled like a roll. The other one was not fresh at all and tasted like the tuna was sitting for a week. We will ll not be returning back to this place.

I love vegetable udon (add chilli powder) and tonkatsu. I have tried these in the past 5 years. I really like it.

The order was done in 2 minutes . That means everything is pre-done and not fresh. Chicken quality is horrible.. the sushi rolls were not fresh at all. Not worth the money. I apologize. I am being honest. Price was not cheap either.

We ordered 4 rolls for about $50. I was a bit disappointed though by the dragon roll. When I was chewing, I felt something poking me. It was little fish bones. I was very put off by that and lost my appetite. Everything else was okay. We also ordered the lambada, a baked salmon roll, and horse roll. The server was polite. We called to order our food ahead of time and picked it up at the store.

My 7 year old son and I went for a outing. He absolutely loved it and they were super patient with him while ordering. The food was great and so was the customer service. We’ll be back!

DOR: 113023. I hadn't been here in a while. In all honesty, because I was going to Katana. However, I returned because Katana lost all of the Sushi Garden touch. Sad, I know. But I was happy to return to sushi cuisine. Had the tiger roll, and it was really good 8 outta 10. Wifey had the ramen, and she gave it an 8 outta 10. Overall, happy to still have a sushi place in Turlock.

Delicious food, very accommodating. Our waiter was incredibly informed and helpful. New favorite sushi spot for sure.

This is not fresh sushi. I'm with the belief that these rolls arrive already prepared. They came out within a few minutes. This is a notch below what I've found at a grocery store sushi bar.

Just moved to Turlock. My family and I LOVE sushi. Unfortunately will not return to this establishment. Never once have I had a roll smell like the ingredients had been left in the washing machine for a week. We ordered a lot. I noticed the smell when the waitress came back and reached over my plate to put down my youngest’s katsu. I thought it was coming from her plate. I ate 2 pieces before I could tell the smell was coming from my own food. I couldn’t focus on any other smell after that. And surely could not even imagine eating that. The overpowering, pungent, mildew smell that emitted from my “crazy monkey roll” caused both my partner and I to leave hungry after spending almost $100. We didn’t make a big deal, we had our kids with us, and it was very busy. Just paid the bill and sadly no tip. I went home and drank vinegar and cayenne, hope no one else out there gets sick.

Food was delicious, service was great! Highly recommend!! Hubby doesn't love sushi, I do, there is something here for everyone. Will be back!

Worst place you can go to eat sushi, totally waste of money. This place have a good rate and some good reviews, it set me up. If you like sushi, there's better places to go.

This is my absolute favorite sushi place! I have been going to this place for a long time now they know me by name. I am absolutely obsessed with their spicy mayo! I can’t find sushi this fresh anywhere and their staff is some of the best staff I have encountered in a long time. I will continue to keep going to them!

Sushi cuisine is my favorite in town. Great food and the staff is wonderful. Will, liz, Cristina and the staff are great. Constantly checking up on you and making sure you are satisfied. There is nothing better than walking in and having them greet you by your name. I recommend the spicy tuna hand roll, cherry blossom and titanic roll. 😋 yummmm!

Lion King roll! Half the roll was stuck to the foil .caterpillar roll was alright made it OK only because I added cream cheese

Best restaurant bc this is my grandma's but there was no ramen which is my fav anymore. I don't like sushi that much except California rolls

I was doing some errands around the place, and I asked about Bento box to go, the Asian lady was so kind the food was really fresh and good prices, and fast. The vento box (mine) comes with salad, sauces, salmon, tempura, 4 sushi pieces, miso soup, rice. All of them for less than $13. So far so good I’ll be back here. No doubt. No 5 stars because I have the 5 for awesome places, this is a good place. Probably next time I can see more and give 5 stars.

Great friendly staff. Delicious food! My wife and I went in on a Friday night, the place was packed the whole time we ate.The staff hustled to continue turning happy tables for hours!

Best sushi in town. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and a really awesome selection of all kinds of rolls. Great bento boxes too (special shout-out to the Unagi box). Easy to call ahead and order, but it’s a neat atmosphere to dine too.
