This is separated small museum that you need pay a little extra if you have museum pass no need to pay. There are 3 halls that you can see beautiful well handworked rock tombs, spulchres and other small but worth to see parts of ancient life. Don't miss it when you get there. And also there is a garden that you can see from the outside.

Remains of ancient city with the Hierapolis and museum being the main highlight of the visit. Recommended to go with a guide.

Although is not that big, the collection is very good and the relics are quite well preserved. I enjoyed more that statues and less the coin collection. There are 3 different and separate rooms where you can enter.

Great collection of artefacts and wasn't crowded when we came. Lovely gardens and staff are helpful. Park in Pamukkale, walk up the travertines (internet pics are a lie....go early before the hoards arrive), visit the museum, use the toilets close by before you start to explore Hieraopolis site. Go in through the cafe to the side of Cleopatra's pool and it takes you inside where the toilets are. 400tl gets you entry to the travertines, museum and Hieraopolis site. We spent 6 hours from start to finish .....huge day! Wear sunscreen and reapply, take water and snacks

Absolutely amazing place. I would recommend the golf cart rental as you can see everything in one hour. If you want to spend more time looking and dont want to walk, rent the electric bike which you drive on your own and you can stay as long as you like.

One of the most interesting pieces of the wider Pamukkale Hierapolis Archaeological Site is its archaeology museum. Contained within the ruins of the restored Central Roman Baths, the museum offers an array of artifacts found within the site and the surrounding region. The museum is located just opposite the white-cliff pools (travertines) and just before you reach the Antique Pool.

A very beautiful archeological gem situated between the Travertines and the Antique pool. A must see when you are visiting the Antique city. Its entrance price is included in the main ticket price.

Pretty neat museum with information thankfully in English as well. Was very interesting to learn things here. There were different halls to check out different things. There was also a cave looking pit but unsure of what it was I feel there should have been some board explaining what it was. But aside from that. Great and informative place.

Thieves! We bought tickets and went in around 17:30. It is posted that the site closes at 20:00 in October but they closed the museum at 18:30. This was for absolutely no reason and we paid for both visits. Next day we explained the situation as we wanted to visit the museum, they asked us to buy the tickets again and it is not their problem that they decided to close early. Shameful treatment of tourists who drove hundreds of kilometers to visit their city.

The museum is not crowded because most visitors come here for the pool and the cotton castle scenery. This place is located before the cotton castle entrance.

It’s a tiny museum with three separate rooms. As museums go it’s very simple but if you have a ticket you may as well enter.

Entrance is included with the general entrance to travaltine.

Terrible experience, the entrance fee is relatively high. The "free" audio guide doesn't exist. Then there is an option to use an App that it's not available in most IOS or Android stores because it's too old. There is no free map. Most of the site has no signs/descriptions. The staff at the door doesn't speak English. And so much more... the only good thing is that the place is actually very beautiful, nevertheless super overcrowded.

The Ancient City of Hierapolis stands out with its must-see historical and touristic places in Pamukkale. It is possible to come across many works of art and street figures. Also, do not forget to enter the Cleopatra pool and the pool filled with hot water coming from the underground.

Magic experience to see and to step into history . A pleasure to walk around and find all type of remains and Roman time’s structures. History of this place will blow your mind. The closest you can get to history.

Hierapolis Pamukkale: 1. Hierapolis Pamukkale is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination. It is located in the Denizli Province, near the city of Pamukkale. 2. The name "Pamukkale" translates to "cotton castle" in Turkish, which perfectly describes its unique landscape. It is famous for its white, terraced travertine pools that have formed over thousands of years due to the natural mineral-rich hot springs in the area. 3. The travertine terraces of Pamukkale are a result of the deposition of calcium carbonate from the flowing thermal waters. The mineral-rich water cascades down the terraces, creating a visually stunning and surreal landscape. 4. In addition to the natural wonder of the terraces, Hierapolis was an ancient Greco-Roman city that thrived during the Hellenistic and Roman periods. It was known for its thermal baths and was a popular destination for healing and relaxation. 5. Visitors to Hierapolis Pamukkale can explore the ancient ruins of the city, including well-preserved structures such as the Roman theater, the Temple of Apollo, the Necropolis (ancient cemetery), and the Plutonium (a sacred cave associated with the Greek god Pluto). 6. The thermal waters of Pamukkale are still accessible to visitors, and there are designated areas where you can bathe in the mineral-rich pools. The water is believed to have therapeutic qualities and is a unique experience for visitors. 7. It's important to note that in order to protect the natural wonder of Pamukkale, walking on the travertine terraces is now restricted to certain areas, and visitors are required to remove their shoes or wear protective covers to preserve the delicate formations. Whether you're interested in ancient history, natural wonders, or simply seeking a unique and breathtaking experience, Hierapolis Pamukkale offers a combination of both. It is a place where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and explore the remnants of an ancient civilization.

it’s a good place, very well preserved theatre and some good explanations about the ruins but could be better organised. pamukkale, antic pool and the antic city is all in the same place; which are worth to see.
