It’s a really interesting place to go. There is still a lot to discover but there are multiple areas with columns and structures that make you understand the intensity of the buildings. Moreover, there is what is considered the oldest church which is interesting to see and which is the main attraction. The theaters are impressive as well. There good thing is that it’s not crowded as most of the tourism only goes to the hierapolis.

This ancient city is huge. We walked through large part of it and it is really amazing. Especially the theatre is breathtaking. Unfortunately it is very hot there and no green. But is worth visiting!

We enjoyed visiting here. There were very few tourists and you could take your time and feel what it might have been like in ancient times. The amphitheater was not completely exposed, giving it a more natural look.

Overall a great sight especially the « glass floor » museum which is really cool to see. There is a little shop at the entrance and toilets that were mostly clean. I put 4 ⭐️ cause I just feel it’s not the best thing to see around but nothing to complain about really.

This was a good experience. The archeologists have done a pretty good job, because in one place we saw the ground 2.5m high up in the air, and that means they've dug that much. The ancient city contains a lot of hidden treasures, like houses, a church and gardens. The most important part is, never wander around without a bottle of water per person if it's daytime. It was around 38 degrees Celsius and we almost melted to the floor. After all, it was a good experience and we advise you to see it.

The archeological site is very large and impressive, we enjoyed our visit even with the rain coming down. It takes about 2 - 3 hours to visit, I'm not sure if there are guides at the site for hire, I would assume during better weather and time of year that there would be. I think that a guide here would enhance the experience incredibly so. The cost to enter is 25 TL, loved this place for so many reasons. You have to see this place as it will not disappoint. 3btraveler

Great place to visit from Denizli in a taxi if you are looking for historical places near the city and want to explore something that’s not very common or popular. There was no crowd and we were mostly the only people there. The weather was great and the whole city is very nicely preserved and looks just as good as the ruins I’ve seen in Italy, Lebanon, Jordan and Greece. The information is very interesting and the church and amphitheater is definitely worth checking out when visiting this place. If you have a museum card then it’s great but otherwise the ticket was for 150 tl when we visited.

A fantastically gigantic hidden treasure. Most people focus on Hieropolis, but Laodicea is a fantastic place too. They're still digging and renovating, but it's obvious that this will end up an enormous ancient city - on the scale of Ephesus.

I have been here and seen the restoration of the Laodicea church. Here I read that the Council of Laodicea in 363 AD met to decide which books were included in the Bible. There are 60 canons.

Very beautiful landscape. Cool views for making photos. We bought tickets with MuseumKart and it covered Pamukkale Hierapolis. Summer time may be too hot, we came in October and it was like 30 degrees at noon.

It’s an excellent archaeological site. Extremely large so wear your walking boots. Very interesting mosaics and many drainage pipes. Some interesting columns also

While the site is significant given its prominence in Biblical history, the ruins themselves are comparatively underwhelming to other ancient sites in Anatolia. Worth seeing to experience firsthand, but can easily be visited with a brisk 2-3 hour walk. Highlights are the theatres.

Beautiful ancient city of Laodicea. It contains one of the seven churches that is mentioned in the book of revelation. Not much tourists, you have the place almost all to yourself.

This Laodicea the city ruin is upon the hills. At that old time, water supply facilities were maintained. This city was a quite a developed city. The recently excavated part is covered with a glass floor so you can see it. Nice displayed. Excavations are still ongoing. The city is really wide and large, and the agora is also a huge open place. Please wear comfortable shoes.

It is an amazing site to see !!! And they’re still excavating more of it … went just before sunset Wish we had more time . Give your self at least 2 hours to explore the site . Word from the wise . Do not wear soft soled shoes or open toed shoes as there are little sharp seed pods every where that lodged themselves in the soles of your shoes .

A very well preserved cultural scenario and ruins- the best kept secret since we were the only visitors on site.

Good place. But there is no enough signs to guide tourists. Worth more attention from authorities

Very nice historic place but it is lost in the city because of pamokali lakes in the area so no body cares to vist the place It have a large amount of historic signs and huge roman theate and they still search for other antiquities Less than hour you can see the place and continue your trip to pamukali You can bye ticket for both loadecia and pamukali

One of Turkey's greatest Archaeological Sites once became an ancient city of Romans. The city is situated on the long spur of a hill between the narrow valleys. Except if you are interested in history or archaeology, there is not much you can do here except to witness the ruins. Wear a hat, sunglass or anything to cover as the sun is directly scorching you.
