Sensational place. Adventurous when climbing the bunkers, historical site and located in the middle of the beautiful beach. Admission is free, nothing is cordoned off, but bunkers can be explored depending on your sporting abilities.

Very nice place. We was stopped for 5min to look at the beach. Further away, we saw an interesting bunker. In the end, it took more than an hour.

Exciting to look at, a great location for shoots or a place where relics tell their stories. The beach is accessible by car right into the middle of the complex. But be careful, depending on the conditions, the sand can be quite loose. Please don't get stuck. Criticism: Unfortunately, there was a lot of rubbish in the bunkers on our expedition, including some organic remains. Pay attention!

We came across the remains of the Furreby coastal battery by chance during our visit to Løkken on September 16th, 2023. What is interesting is: When they were built in 1943, the bunkers were still on the dunes, 90 meters from the beach. Today almost all of them are on the beach or are already in the water. In some cases the structures are still in the process of collapsing. Some of the entrances are bricked up, but in most of them the sand has already filled the rooms and made them impassable. Nevertheless, this "bunker grave" is an interesting place where, among other things, you can experience the power of nature up close. Definitely worth seeing.

Pure nature. When we arrived, there was so much water on the Rhine Bridge that we couldn't see anything of the beach etc. At least you could see the bunker again the next day. On day 3 you could see the wonderful beach again with the numerous well-preserved bunkers and look at many of them, some were still full of water, others had so much rubbish in and on them that it was shocking. The extent of the storm could now be seen on the beach. Dunes had broken rescue signs knocked down by the water and storm. Stairs up to one meter in the air. Nature shows us humans clearly who is in charge.

Sad story - fascinating bunker systems in the middle of the beach. Several bunkers can be explored with weatherproof clothing and safe footwear. The North Sea is gradually taking back its coast and will certainly leave the more than 20 bunker systems behind in the next few decades.

A very interesting place at low tide you can definitely visit the bunkers. We were there at high tide and unfortunately couldn't get in. But no matter what the weather, the view is unique and a beautiful experience.

Cool bunkers. If you want to explore it from the inside. Think about climbing equipment (rope, gloves, sturdy shoes and appropriate, tight-fitting clothing) What you shouldn't do is drive there by car, then you'll get stuck there.

This place is very worth seeing and frightening at the same time. This is history you can touch. At low tide you can look into most bunkers.

Definitely worth visiting. I have never seen so many bunkers together like there. Also when you look for old photos and see, how much the place changed. Loved to visit during winter and snow, it has a very special feeling and no people are around.

Great athmosphere. Kids can play around, if parrents let them. You May hide from the wind and sun. Not for disabled people.

This place is really nice. I wasn't expecting much but when you visit the bunkers one by one is when you can see how interesting it is the whole story behind it.

Very impressive place to walk through. Several bunkers are still partly accessable. We visited with high tide so we only got to see the back parts. Definitely worth while visiting. Parking is available in the nearby town, we parked somewhere in between the vacation homes because it's off season, wouldn't recommend doing this during summer.
