Hi, this is Sarthak Purbey. Must visit restaurant with family, this is my go to and favourite restaurant of all time, in the past 8 years of travelling and trying out new restaurant, Royal Indian provided me with great experience and delicious food, not to mention their wholesome service.

Best 👍 Indian Restaurant in Copenhagen. All the facilities are super fine and dine experience was superb. Must visit for delicious food.

Visited Royal Indian today with my family, We loved the food and the service. Diverse options for both starters and main course. Karahi chicken and karahi paneer are definitely the best here. Highly recommended for good food and service🙂

I used to love this place but after spending a lot of money on food to enjoy i told them it was not what i ordered they told me i would physically need to bring the food back for them to inspect it and settle if they believed me or not. When i went to return the food they we’re horrible and then answered a phonecall in the middle of a conversation i was having with the employee which made me feel so disrespected, unheard and unwanted. If there come up problems with your order they will not help you. Time to find a new indian place to order from.

We happen to visit a day back for dinner and loved the food. We ordered only vegetarian like malai kofta, naan, paneer butter masala, mango lassi etc. food was good and the lady serving has a great smile and attitude.

I had the worst dum biriyani here today! It was tasteless, rice uncooked and even after complaining- the staffs didn’t admit it. We even wanted to meet the chef to ask him about the preparation but were denied. The manager being present in the restaurant that time didn’t care to come once to ask about our concern. Even if food is bad, is this kind of customer service expected from a so called good indian restaurant? Not going there anymore.

I’ve had Indian dishes all around the world and this was without doubt one of the best. Incredible flavours, a nice amount of spice. Incredibly difficult to fault.

Just had a delivery from the Royal Indian in Valby. Absolutely delicious. And I liked being given a choice of spiciness with the dish.

I feel little ashamed visiting this Indian restaurant in Denamk with my inertnation friends. As per Indian culture water is first thing we serve. This place don't offer tap water. Staff was rude when we asked for tap water. Small request to owner, please don't make us ashamed, if someone ask for water serve it so we don't loose our culture. Food is okay. Staff is very rude. Last they served Lassi with ice, really?

Had an amazing dinner at Royal Indian Valby. The staff was very friendæy and well versed in their work. They did not only suggested us good dishes but also made us feel so special by attending to us time to time. Five stars to beautiful staff and chef who cooked delicious meal. The best Indian Restaurant😍😍

Really liked their food & service. We tried Ramadan Iftar menu, everything was good. Specially all the kebab item, naan & the dessert was top notch. Highly recommend.

Great food and service. The price level for food is high which is ok because the Indian flavours and quality of ingredients are among the best in Copenhagen. We waited about 20 mins for snacks and the same for mains, which is too long time even for food cooked to order. Also, water and sodas are too expensive. You end up paying more for water than at Noma.

We went looking for the buffet and although that was closed now since COVID - the 2 person menu was more than enough food, and selection to make up for it. The menu also included the drink which really meant a relaxing evening - freshly cooked and delicious food and super fast and friend service - seriously worth checking out.

We have visited this restaurant with a team of 11 and this restaurant is having really a good Indian food. Service was also very good. Really a good place to eat. I will recommend this restaurant for people who wants a good indian food.

Very nice restaurant. Close to Valby. Food is very tasty and menu is also very nice. We ordered menu for 6 person. Chicken tikka masala and butter naan was super good. Ambience is also very good.

So basically I shifted to Copenhagen a year and a half ago and didn’t find even medium quality Indian food everywhere and then I try Royal Indian Valby, the food here is amazing , it takes you back to India while you’re there. The services are amazing, the food is amazing and worth for the money especially the Ramadan menu, worth visiting before this Ramadan ends and even after , believe me best Indian food restaurant in Copenhagen. - Tanay

Taste and quality of food is good. not much variety on menu card, however Thali is a nice option to taste different items. Reasonable price.

Ordered on wolt over 30 minutes before they closed. It took them over an hour to cancelmy order before saying it was on the way

We had butter chicken with rice and naan, it was the best butter chicken I had in Copenhagen!!!! The staff was super friendly as well :) My husband mentioned more chicken would have been nice, but he was very pleased anyway.

Overhyped overrated..won’t recommend to Indian food lovers..we two couldn’t finish 1 main course and 1 naan.hardly cheese in cheese naan ,sugar in mango lassi and taste and spices in palak paneer which we told them to make spicy but it was sweet and just not authentic at all.

One of the best Indian served cuisine you will have in Copenhagen. Especially tandoor naam, any type of Chicken/ lamp gravy and bombay aloo was the best! One should visit them and enjoy their authentic food. Thank you for hosting us!!

The quality of food serve in the royal Indian restaurant are quite fresh and good in taste. The only suggestion what I would like to give on the menu which I recently taste it in the restaurant is 'Prithvi Menu'. I think you should add one more dish (could be daal makhni or any other vegetarian ) instead of plain rice because already hydrabadi biryani is taking place as a rice meal.

Excellent spicy indian food. Decent service and fair prices. The place has something for everyone. The chicken with different sauce/gravy was great and so was the naan bread. Would recommend 5/5.

Ordered chicken biryani, got served with rice mixed with butter chicken…I don’t want to explain more.. samosa chat has also got not authentic taste…worst experience ever

The food was very delicious and everything was great. Owner was nice, we went there through the app named Morrow but they said they are not associated with them but anyway he compensated us by giving the food what we had paid on the app.

This didn’t feel like real Indian food, I ordered take out and the only thing I enjoyed was the mango lassi and maybe the naan. The rice was stiff and hard, the butter chicken wasn’t even butter chicken it was like tomato soup. Didn’t enjoy the food at all, and it was pretty expensive..

Ordering the food at 18:15, said 45-55 minutes on the website. When the payment and order went through, it said delivery at 19:20. Fine. At 19:37 I still hadn't received the food. I called the restaurant who said that the food would be there in 10-15 minutes. She said she couldn't give me any discount, only some kind of snack on my next order. But she had to know when my next order was gonna be, so she could write it down. Ridiculous. Finally received the food at 19:55.

They have the best aalo naans, chicken/lamb tikka masala and daal makhani. I frequently visit Royal Indian restaurant and i think they serve one of the best Indian food restaurants in Denmark

Good food but i would have liked to eat a bit more variety. I had a heap of lamp, too much, and i would have liked to have had 3 dishes for a bit of variety. Very nice Nepalese server who only works Friday.

Wonderful food !!! fresh and tasty, only negative point the food came 20 minutes later, I hope you can fix the delivery service, the rest .... it is perfect experience.

Tried food today at Royal Indian. Very expensive and really pathetic taste. Veg Biriyani had no taste, mixed some sabji with rice by name of Biriyani. And please stay away from Desert as again had no flavor in them. Waste of money. No Star guys

Perfect Dinner Top Quality I have been here many times with my dear friends from India.

Every time I decide to do Just Eat instead of Wolt or Hungry, I get so disappointed. Been waiting for my food for almost two hours. The delivery keeps saying "13 minutes". On their website there is a "contact costumer support" function, but there is no costumer support. There is only an FAQ which is not really helping me figuring out where the f my cold food is. Would never recommend.

Food is tasty we love the place. And not first time there. But that time we were waiting 1.5 hours for them to serve the first dish. We ordered vegetarian dish but they served chicken which is kind of disrespect for Indian Brahmin people. Then we were waiting for the main course dish another hour. Initially we were just sitting and watching how they served another people next table who came later than us. So the problem was our waiter who mixed up the order. So my Indian man and I were sitting on the waiting mode. Yes, that day's service was not good. Then another waitress came she told food is ready but not served on time. So, we had main couse not hot and it is bad because as Indian food should be served hot. Also I didn't like that she didn't wipe the table for the moment she served the desserts.

Really poor service,i would rate it 0,we were two people me and my wife we order for 3 retters menu as we don't know much about the dish so we order 3 retters menu which cost 225 kr but later when we calculate in total it would just cost 200 kr and the food was really not satisfying especially daal and chicken curry.i would highly recommend not to visit ever.and most importantly they didn't give us desert .just waste of money don't ever visit there.we waste our 700 kr just for nothing
